@natleilynn I did nothing. All her, in the last 6 months. Girl still needs her 12 hours.
She's been an amazing sleeper since 2 months old. My fingers are so tightly crossed this LO is the same. But I'm pretty sure we're screwed because statistics.
Mine gets up between 5:30 and 6:15 EVERY DAY. He used to at least stay in his crib until close to 7 but this toddler bed transition has been HELL.

last night my 2yo only woke up once and after a tiny struggle went back to sleep and slept in her own bed until 7am. so of course 3yo pees the bed for the first time in months MOTN.
When we transitioned her to a big girl bed (skipped toddler stage and went straight to a Twin bed because we were moving and it was easier) she wouldn't even get out, even though she could. She'd scream for us to come get her. It was pretty funny. Now she gets up on her own, but very rarely in the middle of the night. She knows our bed is a no sleeping zone for her. Mommy and daddy need sleep, yo!
DS wakes up between 5:30-6 every day. It's the worst. I actually just ordered the OK to Wake clock and it should arrive today. I'm hoping it's a miracle device.
We got sick of our oldest getting in bed with us when she was 2-3 years old and finally started leaving her little foam fold-out couch in our room for her to sleep on. She still sleeps on it during thunderstorms and she's 8 now. I need to get one for the threenager because she is a crazy sleeper
My 5yo was up at 3:00 because of a bad dream. He crept into our bed but DH wasn't having it because he had an important meeting today for work. I tried to fix the situation by laying down in DS twin bed with him which caused a minor fight with DH because he didn't want me in there possibly getting kneed in the belly after the amnio. At the end of it all, DS went in to sleep with my mom who was staying over and the 3yo who usually comes in my bed at some point slept on his own till after 7!.
DD will sleep til 8 or 8:30, and then wakes up and plays with toys or looks at her books until I get her BUT yesterday morning I went in there and she was literally ripping a book apart. WTF. Paper shreds everywhere. Apparentaly Lady and the Tramp pissed her off.
This morning she has started calling me "Mom" instead of Momma or Mommy out of nowhere. I don't think I like it.

DD called DH by his real name this week. I was like.....uhhhhhh no. That is Daddy to you, little miss.

This might belong in a symptoms thread but is anyone else feeling like their stomach is super tight? Whenever I'm standing up it feels like I've just had a humongous meal and my stomach is all stretched out with bloat. But it feels this way all the time, even first thing in the morning, and I can tell that I'm not actually bloated at all. I don't know how to describe it better than that -- it's a weird feeling and I wasn't expecting it. Just me?
@migdala yup! I think it's due to all the squishing going on, with your stomach and other organs being displaced to make room for baby. Or at least that's what I imagine.

@migdala does it come and go? That's how my Braxton hicks are. It's a tightening sensation that comes and then passes. During my past pg I got them pretty frequently. It never hurt, was just a tightening sensation I could feel.
I just got a reminder phone call for my A/S appointment on Tuesday. I told the lady "don't worry, I would never forget that one, even with pregnancy brain!" She laughed and said "see you Tuesday! Happy Friday!"
I'm dying laughing over here, it's really the cutest thing ever. I love when Dad's have to fix hair. DH just text me wanting to know how I do DD's hair with this picture attached. He has one side in a low pig tail pony and the other side is down with a clip in bow up front.
@beezeemarie@mrs_fogue@sjohns908 I think it comes and goes but I've only noticed it over the last two or so days so I'll have to pay more attention. Maybe it is BH. The skin on my belly feels tight, like it's been stretched too far - that's why it kind of feels like really really bad bloat, it's that same stretched-out feeling, only I'm not bloated. I thought maybe it was just from my belly skin actually expanding but I feel like that can't be right because I'm just starting to show and have a looooooong way to go on the stretched out belly front. Pregnancy just keeps blowing my mind with weirdness.
My DH is pretty awesome!!! Our a/s isn't until end of June and we are both dying to know what we will be having. I tried to get into an elective u/s clinic but they were full all weekend. DH just called them to see if they had any last minute openings and we now we have a 5:30 appointment!! Cue happy dance!
Soooo I'm a massive slacker and finally got the invites for our gender reveal done and picked up today. I'm not 100% pleased with them, I'm not a graphic designer by any means, but hey, it saved me $15 over buying a file off etsy. Just excited to finally have one less thing to worry about lol
I just left L&D after having a scare because I was saw several quarter sized blood clots on my toilet paper. I was also having headaches and cramping so needless to say I was freaked the hell out.
I tried to go to work but the instant my manager saw my face and I said those words out loud "I bleeding' she pulled me in her office sat my down and I balled like a baby.
My coworker pulled some strings and got me into L&D immediately (usually they won't see you until 20 weeks and I am 18w2d).
Turns out out I have mild placental previa but baby is okay! She even gave a wave during the ultrasound. Everything checked out fine. I have my AS in 3 weeks so they will follow it but the OB was sooo reassuring and said I might bleed a little but it should move and I will be able to have a vaginal delivery.
@wittyacronym sorry about your scare, but glad everything is looking good with baby! Take it easy and I hope the placenta moves upwards so you don't have any other issues with it
