Yay @Hopeful_mom!! Grow follies grow! (But not you over achiever on the left, you chill back and stick with th and pack!). I too have an over achiever on the left:-/ he's at 16 at this point where others range from 10-13 I believe so that's a but scary:(. I think I had at least one that was still behind a bit around 9. I try not to pay attention too much to the size when she's doing the scan because then I obsess about the one that's too big and the ones that are too small...so I don't have the specifics. Maybe tomorrow AM i will pay closer attention:). Good luck at your scan tomorrow cycle buddy!!!
I'm trying not to freak out but this morning when pushing out the air bubbles from Cetrotide I squirted some out. It shot out of the needle and i was just like, well F£*k! I'm hoping it was a negligible amount but of course now on the train into work I'm like, holy crap what if I O!?!

@hopeful_mom- glad to hear a good update!! I think as long as the lead isn't more than 4-5mm ahead of the others, it usually doesn't cause any issues.
@hopefuljj- I think i have had some meds leak out a little too, and didn't have any issues. I totally worried about prematurely ovulating too. The lack of control in this process is torture! Its superrr rare to ovulate thru the meds tho, so you should be fine!

Monitoring update, I have 3 on the left and 5 on the right. They are all around the same range but one on the left is a little bit bigger so we will see what happens. Back for monitoring Monday! I have pain on my left side, it's not terrible but I only have 3 follicles so I'm suspicious of endometriosis. I asked the RE today that was doing Saturday monitoring and he said it could be the position of the follicle or possibly endo. On the right I have a slight amount of pain but only if I walk too fast. I can't imagine having 10 on each side like some ladies!!! I'm trying not to fall down the rabbit hole of googling endo and egg quality. I was warned when i first spoke to my RE that I could have it just based on my DOR status even though I didn't really have any symptoms other than some pain around O when doing clomid (so more than 1 follicle growing) and IUI.

hopefuljj We all lose a lil meds here and there. For the cetritide syringe seems to be harder to nudge up lightly and sometimes a huge surge pops out by accident but luckily I've been fine through the past cycles so you will too. How was your appt today?
I know I keep complaining about all the weight I've gained and with this week I actually lost a few lbs probably with being too busy to really eat BUT now I just gained 6lbs over night...does cetritide really bloat u that much. I did eat a big meal last night but I can't believe it has that much of an effect ugh!!!! Waiting for the nurses to call to let me know how i'm doing. The tech on the weekends never measures my follies correct but one looked way bigger on the screen so i'm a lil concerned. Maybe I"ll try to get a nap in with this lovely weather. I so wanted to skip monitoring today!

AFM: I was concerned that my 14 on the left looked a lot bigger today and just got the call that it has indeed gotten bigger..19.5. Which means another night of stemming and then I have to go back for US ugh!!! On mothers day no less, what a cruel joke!!! Seriously its unreal!! I have 5 right now that are ranging from 14-19 so hopefully those will make it, 2 on the left are 9 and 10 so I have to really hope that tonight those 2 are greedy and soak up most of the meds and grow for mama. Not one good rest all week, I will be super cranky this week for sure!! Looks like ER is going to be tues or wed is my guess. I know its quality over quanity so i'm trying not to freak out to much but I am!!

@hopeful_mom Oh! I'm so sorry you have to go in again tomorrow! I was just thinking, gosh I would love one day where I don't have to wake up before 6am this week so I'm super grateful for tomorrow but that does mean MORE days of shots! I'll be on day 12 of stims when I go in Monday. Day 6 of Cetrotide. My belly is just in full blown pin cushion mode! They still haven't even advised me on the intramuscular HSG shot. Where does it go?! What muscle and how do you know you got it in the muscle? hopefuljj thanks i'll take it!!! Dont worry about the trigger shot they'll explain it to and dont worry there are videos for that one too The one I do goes on the right upper butt cheek. They say its like you draw a plus sign on ur butt and it goes in the right square...at least thats where mine has gone and its been 3x now. I have a feeling if this 19 has gotten much bigger tomorrow will be trigger time...I have so much work left to do that I will be spending the rest of the weekend doing that so I won't have to stress too much taking off for ER!!.

Its trigger time for me and ER on Tuesday. I'm a bit nervous as I have 8 follies showing but only have the 5 that are measuring from 16 - 20.5 My 3 bigger ones are on the left. I have another 3 on the left but they are smaller 10 and 11. And they're not giving me any more meds for them so that I don't loose my bigger ones. Just makes it concerning as my odds become less. Lets hope all 5 are super strong!! Just keep thinking positive thoughts for me ladies it worked last time

Triggering tonight for Wednesday retrieval. The sizes seem a little all over the place for my follies....but the big one is 22. I knew she would be trouble. I didn't ask questions and am just going with it. I have a 13 on the left and a 14 on the right which both seem too small, but I'm trying to just roll with it. I feel like worrying about it won't change anything and I trust my doctor so I'm just gonna chill. As much as possible that is! Good grief. Of course one of my companies marque events (1 of 3) is this Saturday and I'm scheduled for a support shift at our expo Wednesday.....going to have to beg someone to cover and take a personal day and not give out too many details. @JamieH2000 my RE recommended a few rounds of IVF in attempt to bank embryos and then to move forward with some FET's. I am going to do PGS since the lab had a special for ladies with DOR so I will hopefully have something make it to day 5 and get embryos tested and then dawns off the next round the following IVF. They said they release results as they come in and will test up to 8. So here's hoping I get some eggs and they fertilize properly and something makes it to day 5 for biopsy and testing and something is normal! My god it sounds like I'm asking for so much:-/

@hopefuljj- I hear you.. it is such a long road. But you have a good plan and one your way to hopefully getting at least a few ones to freeze from this round! Somtimes I think I should have tried harder and more rounds, and tried to bank like you ladies. But after 3 rounds and nothing to show, I am just mentally and physically spent. I think its so smart you are going into the first round with a banking mentality though! I can't wait to hear how it goes!

I had to set myself up like this from the beginning because I felt I would feel too hard if I expected success round after round and was disappointed, and want to let my body be in the best shape possible at the time of transfer. Who knows if I will even have success with the banking so it might just end up with the disappointment being delayed:-/. Crossing my fingers though:) I think that donor egg is an amazing option and am so excited to continue to follow your journey to becoming a momma!!

i survived trigger, my clinic has you do it in your deltoid muscle instead of butt muscle like most clinics. All that stress and freaking out for nothing. Hehe now to freak out about tomorrow! I'm note scared of whatever they sedate me with honestly and those side effects. I do not do well with pain killers and have heard this is a similar side effect:-/

Hello all! I'm 34 with AMH levels at .957, FSH levels good but blocked right tube. Was suppose to have first IUI with clomid this month, at my day 10 scan they saw left 13.4. & 12.9 right was 18, 12.8 & 13.9. Since my right is the blocked they cancelled my IUI and told me to just try naturally they said the doc wants to see me on the 24th I asked why and she just said to see what your next steps are. Does that mean that the clomid didn't work as well as they wanted? I ovulate on my own so we BD once I got a positive on OPK and 2 days after. Don't think im prego this month as my CM has turned to glue like, just frustrated. What are other drugs they prescribe for follicle stimulation?
Hi ladies ER was ok but not as expected, I was hoping my body would surprise me with an extra like last time but instead my largest follie was empty and gave me nothing First time thats happened so I couldn't not stop crying after retrieval. So I only got 4 eggs and 1 of the 4 didn't seem as mature...which makes my anger grow as I could've stemmed another day making it mature especially since the big one I triggered for was empty. I didn't post yesterday as I didn't want to make @hopefuljj nervous for your ER today. Hope you got a bunch of mature ones. I'm super bloated and uncomfortable this time around.
3 of them fertilized which I'm happy about but they still have along way to go to be biopsied. I hate that I'm so down about it when I should be hopeful but the thought of doing another ivf cycle does not excite me in the slightest. I will wait to see if these 3 make it and take it from there. I really should've just done a fresh transfer with this batch since there are so few. Every egg counts so i'm just frustrated that they sacrificed the smaller one for the bigger one and lost both in the end.

@Hopeful_mom I was so worried when I didn't see an update that you were disappointed with your outcome or feeling really bad:(. I'm so sorry lady. I am hoping and praying that your 3 make it and are total rockstar embryos! Quality quality quality! How many cycles have you gone through already? I can imagine that another go must feel exhausting and I hope you don't have to! Sending lots of love and rockstar embryo vibes your way.
AFM One must have been empty for me too and I bet it was my giant one:-/ we got 7 but one doesn't look mature so might be a loss so leaves me at 6. I will find out how many fertilize correctly tomorrow. I'm so panicked that we are leaving them until day 5 so we can do PGS testing. Just gonna focus on the fact that I can go again next cycle and have another chance to get more. I was such a nervous wreck about not waking up from anesthesia so I'm glad I did. Now I'm just worried there will not be enough fiber in the world to get me regular again because I have been known to have those issues when I just take even Advil:-/

@moni2016- sorry you are in this situation, but glad you found us. I think next steps would consider maybe IVF, just because with a blocked tube, its going to depend each month if you can even attempt an IUI. You can use injectibles to try to stimulate more follicles, but they are much much more expensive than Clomid and with lower AMH you still don't always get a lot of follicles.
@hopeful_mom-i'm sorry you didn't get as many as you had hoped I'm going to pray for quality over quantity and that they all become good blasts!! Hang in there, you are such a fighter!

Hi @moni2016 your response on clomid looked great to me. I never got more than 2 follicles growing in the size range when on clomid and doing Iui's. I wonder if the concern was that the biggest or lead follicle was on the right so they were worrried it might be too far ahead of the other follicles and you would ovulate only on the right this cycle which is blocked. Jamie is probably right about moving to IVF just because of the blocked tube and low amh. I feel like you would have a very good response to the meds based on your clomid response. Hope you get more answers/info on the 24th.

@hopfuljj- I really didn't post as I didn't want to worry you as I was not a happy camper! I hate that eggs just going missing even though the follie measures correctly, still makes no sense to me even though I know it happens. Thrilled to hear things went well for you. You never kno about the less mature one it can surprise you. Are you doing all icsi? Originally I wasn't but they didn't love OH sample and did icsi on all...not that I'm telling him that as he thinks his perfect and just about had it with all of this anyway. I'm always nervous about waiting till day 5 but now i dont have the choice. Its interesting how we all react differently and each time is different. (TMI) this time i'm so bloated and gassy its crazy!! AND I'm having no trouble going to the bathroom so interesting you think u will. @Hopeful_mom we are fertilizing with PICSI for all because they did a DNA fragmentation test on DH's sperm and it came back at 33% when they like to see under 20. Not really sure of the theory that sperm that bind to the hyaluronan hydrogel in a Petri dish are sperm that don't have DNA fragmentation though:-/ but I'm hoping that is the case because it's not cheap! And you are so sweet for not posting in fear of scaring me. Xoxoxo. I promise I will always be a nervous wreck no matter what so don't worry about me;)

@Hopeful_mom it's a tough call because we waited an extra day and I ended up with zero eggs in my follies - that extra 1-2 days fried me! I'm just hoping for you that the ones they got all fertilize beautifully and pass testing!

AFM: My Day 2 update - 4A, 4B and 2BC...so far 2 of the 3 are pretty much on target, I always strive for the A in school so I would like my eggs to do the same I'm hoping the 3rd will catch up tomorrow and be a fighter! My tummy is still hurting me which is annoying...but that too shall pass.

hopefuljj glad you were in brooklyn, I have to admit I was first nervous praying there wasn't more to come or a bomb in the car...unfortunately in todays world you never know! Literally my building is right there so anything explosive would be bad. Its just sad someone died from nonsense! @hopefuljj- I think i have had some meds leak out a little too, and didn't have any issues. I totally worried about prematurely ovulating too. The lack of control in this process is torture! Its superrr rare to ovulate thru the meds tho, so you should be fine!

I have pain on my left side, it's not terrible but I only have 3 follicles so I'm suspicious of endometriosis. I asked the RE today that was doing Saturday monitoring and he said it could be the position of the follicle or possibly endo. On the right I have a slight amount of pain but only if I walk too fast. I can't imagine having 10 on each side like some ladies!!!
I'm trying not to fall down the rabbit hole of googling endo and egg quality. I was warned when i first spoke to my RE that I could have it just based on my DOR status even though I didn't really have any symptoms other than some pain around O when doing clomid (so more than 1 follicle growing) and IUI.

I know I keep complaining about all the weight I've gained and with this week I actually lost a few lbs probably with being too busy to really eat BUT now I just gained 6lbs over night...does cetritide really bloat u that much. I did eat a big meal last night but I can't believe it has that much of an effect ugh!!!! Waiting for the nurses to call to let me know how i'm doing. The tech on the weekends never measures my follies correct but one looked way bigger on the screen so i'm a lil concerned. Maybe I"ll try to get a nap in with this lovely weather. AFM: I was concerned that my 14 on the left looked a lot bigger today and just got the call that it has indeed gotten bigger..19.5. Which means another night of stemming and then I have to go back for US ugh!!! On mothers day no less, what a cruel joke!!! Seriously its unreal!! I have 5 right now that are ranging from 14-19 so hopefully those will make it, 2 on the left are 9 and 10 so I have to really hope that tonight those 2 are greedy and soak up most of the meds and grow for mama. Not one good rest all week, I will be super cranky this week for sure!! Looks like ER is going to be tues or wed is my guess. Its trigger time for me and ER on Tuesday. I'm a bit nervous as I have 8 follies showing but only have the 5 that are measuring from 16 - 20.5 My 3 bigger ones are on the left. I have another 3 on the left but they are smaller 10 and 11. And they're not giving me any more meds for them so that I don't loose my bigger ones. Just makes it concerning as my odds become less. Lets hope all 5 are super strong!! Just keep thinking positive thoughts for me ladies it worked last time

@JamieH2000 my RE recommended a few rounds of IVF in attempt to bank embryos and then to move forward with some FET's. I am going to do PGS since the lab had a special for ladies with DOR so I will hopefully have something make it to day 5 and get embryos tested and then dawns off the next round the following IVF. They said they release results as they come in and will test up to 8. So here's hoping I get some eggs and they fertilize properly and something makes it to day 5 for biopsy and testing and something is normal! My god it sounds like I'm asking for so much:-/

i survived trigger, my clinic has you do it in your deltoid muscle instead of butt muscle like most clinics. All that stress and freaking out for nothing. Hehe now to freak out about tomorrow! I'm note scared of whatever they sedate me with honestly and those side effects. I do not do well with pain killers and have heard this is a similar side effect:-/

3 of them fertilized which I'm happy about but they still have along way to go to be biopsied. I hate that I'm so down about it when I should be hopeful but the thought of doing another ivf cycle does not excite me in the slightest. I will wait to see if these 3 make it and take it from there. I really should've just done a fresh transfer with this batch since there are so few. Every egg counts so i'm just frustrated that they sacrificed the smaller one for the bigger one and lost both in the end.

One must have been empty for me too and I bet it was my giant one:-/ we got 7 but one doesn't look mature so might be a loss so leaves me at 6. I will find out how many fertilize correctly tomorrow. I'm so panicked that we are leaving them until day 5 so we can do PGS testing. Just gonna focus on the fact that I can go again next cycle and have another chance to get more. I was such a nervous wreck about not waking up from anesthesia so I'm glad I did. Now I'm just worried there will not be enough fiber in the world to get me regular again because I have been known to have those issues when I just take even Advil:-/

Hi @moni2016 your response on clomid looked great to me. I never got more than 2 follicles growing in the size range when on clomid and doing Iui's. I wonder if the concern was that the biggest or lead follicle was on the right so they were worrried it might be too far ahead of the other follicles and you would ovulate only on the right this cycle which is blocked. Jamie is probably right about moving to IVF just because of the blocked tube and low amh. I feel like you would have a very good response to the meds based on your clomid response. Hope you get more answers/info on the 24th.

Thank for the love ladies! I know its silly to be upset over an egg and so on but because its so few you just know how important each egg we get is!!! IVF#5 April 2017 // EPP (7 ER, 7F yes! 6B) 2/5 day 4/6 day - 2 PGS normal! yes!!
IVF#6 May 2017 // Antagonist didn't have time for Estrogen Priming...(4 ER, 3 F, 3B) (5AB, (2) 5BB) 2 PGS normal, yes!!
IVF#7 June 2017 // EPP praying this is it and then on to an FET!
