TW and break down warning. I had my melt down last night. I'm trying so hard to stay positive but it's been kinda hard so far. This is my 5th FET and we have gone through 8 embryos I've had 1 surgery and I can't tell you what my bill is going to look like. My daughters think that mommy is really sick I have to give myself shots every night, they can't jump on my tummy, after transfer I can't pick them up cause they are over the weight limit. This crap is hard. I want soo badly for this to be a positive this week. I know I know I should be grateful for the IVF round that worked years ago and gave me my twins but I'd really like to have 1 more. I love being a mom and they are everything to me.
End of rant.....

thucks hugs, I'm sorry you guys have had to do this so many times! Wanting another kid does not mean you aren't grateful for the twins, it means you have more love to give and want to give them another sibling! This crap IS hard, I hope this is the last time you have to go through this and your beta is positive!

jav5y2 I did prednisone as part of my pre transfer protocol, 2 pills the first day and 1 pill for the next 4 or 5 days I think. I started it a few days before transfer and was also on Medrol 4x a day for 4 days around transfer as well.

@JuliaGoolia719 how was your 3rd beta??!!

Anyone else have any updates??

AFM had my 2nd beta today and HCG level is at 2,463! No more betas, my prenatal visit is the 11th to talk about the dos and donts and to also make sure my cervix is closed

Rachel_leigh22 more than doubled again! set up my 6wk u/s for the 10th!

We're having our parents over on the 12th to tell them, so FX that there's no bad news at the ultrasound....I'd like to put lol after that but I can't quite bring myself to even halfway joke yet.

@thucks I have been following your story for a while and feel a bit of a kinship as I have twins from IUI and we had to go through IUI again for a third. I know IUI is not nearly as involved as IVF and you are such a warrior. Even though we have been blessed with twins, that does not lessen the desire for more. I hope that this is it for you. I am rooting for Thursday.

@wabash15 Thank you so much for your kind words It's nice to hear from someone who has twins and has tried again for more. It seem rare, which I get when they were 1 we swore we'd never do this again now look at us lol. Twins are tough. I just need out of this rut and push forwards.

@thucks it was hard when everyone assumed that we would be done especially since my twins are B/G. I thought we might be done when we had the twins but not so long after they came I knew we weren't. Twins are tough they are also wonderful. (though on their bad days I question my sanity

) Your rut is understandable. You have had such a long journey. I really hope this cycle is your happy ending.

Hey gals, feeling some bad karma, for feeling so confident yesterday. This evening when I got home from work, I saw that I had some spotting. Not a lot, not red or pink, but not totally brown either, I'm totally freaking out. Feels too familiar!

@jav5y2 oh no. I hope everything is ok. Seems Like a lot of ppl have been spotting this time around after a positive beta.

*TW* Soo.. I broke down and POAS yesterday morning and there was a faint 2nd line.. So I of course had to check again today, and it was a bit darker! Beta is Thursday so we will know for sure, but starting to feel good about this. The worrying will never stop though, because there is a long way to go from here..

Ok blood has been dropped off. She had a hard time getting it to stop bleeding with the extra blood thinner I'm on. Now the wait for the phone call.

It was a BFN again not even a CP. Dr. is wanting to go again first part of June.

@thucks - I can totally appreciate that. I know if this transfer doesn't take for us, I will likely want to move right ahead, but I am not sure how DH will feel. He needs time to process sometimes, but I turn 39 at the end of this month and I am ready! Wishing you all the luck!

@thucks I am so so sorry for the BFN. I think I'd want to move ahead immediately too, the time we spent between our IVF and FET cycles felt like SO LONG I went a little crazy.

Wow so it's been a while since I've been on here!
@JuliaGoolia719 your first ultrasound is Friday? Is it your 6week? I'm so jealous! That wasn't offered to me! They said I need my prenatal appt first which is Thursday and then an ultrasound a week after that.
Anyone else keep poas to make sure the line doesn't go away?? lol I still have no serious symptoms, just sore boobs, slight bloat, slight fatigue and maybe a little more hungry

@Rachel_leigh22 ultrasound is Wednesday! I have a job interview Monday so I'm more focused on that right this second lol. (Same company doing essentially the same job but locally and normal hours I am so nervous, I want this job *so* badly) and then I have another u/s on the 24th.
I kept POAS until the line was as dark as the control line lol! And there may or may not be a few of them on the bathroom counter so I can co tinually see how the line got darker....maybe.
I've had some mild nausea, and holy cow the tiredness. I struggle to stay up past 9pm these days...

@JuliaGoolia719 I know the nervous feeling I have been trying for three years and have never had a miscarriage as well but this is my first positive I have ever gotten! I am so excited every time something goes well and the nervous until the next appointment !
Congrats everybody with positive's and fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting on their betas!

Had an u/s this morning. Today is 7w 0d for us...

everything looked good, saw a heartbeat 129 bpm. Next step is to make and appointment with the perinatologist. We are high risk based on our history, so we aren't even making a regular on appointment.

@Rachel_leigh22 it all looked good! We saw the heartbeat and the Dr was able to identify all the things that were supposed to be there! They said when we go back on the 24th that it'll look like a gummy bear and I'm so excited/nervous.
We told our parents last night at dinner which was really fun, and then I texted my bffs that night. Suddenly it all seems way more real now that more than just DH and I know!
