I know it's a bit early but why not get the ball rolling with a June FET thread? Are you planning a June FET? tell us about it.

I did my first ivf cycle in April and ended up with 7 pgs tested embryos. I am currently scheduled for a June 2 transfer.

Hey, yes! I just got my new calendar yesterday. I'm scheduled for FET during the week of June 12th.

I had IVF in November and ended up with 4 PGS normal embryos. *TW did the first FET in January... but that ended up in a m/c... just did a bunch of blood tests to try and figure out what was the cause. Hope they find something so I won't end up with another m/c... end TW*

are you having medicated or non medicated FET?

@prudence9 I'm so sorry for your loss, that is heartbreaking. I hope you have answers soon.

It is medicated. I am currently on bcp and will have a saline sonogram next week. Assuming everything looks good, then I will start estrogen tablets for a few weeks and PIO. how about you?

@brooklyngirl18 thanks! Since about 90% of m/c are due to chromosome abnormalities (and I had a PGS tested embryo), once I got pregnant I thought I'll be able to carry to full term... unfortunately that wasn't the case. I really hope we get some answers later today!

i will also have medicated FET. I'm on BCP now. On the 15th I'm suppose to start Lupron injections, then stop BCP on the 20th. My baseline is on the 25th and if all looks good, start with estrogen patches. Then lining check on June 7th. And if I get the thumbs up then, I will have to start PIO injections with FET the week of June 12th...

medicated FET is such a long process...

Hey ladies! I've been waiting for the June FET to pop up.

@Prudence9, I'm sorry your first FET ended in MC. I hope they find something in your bloodwork, and this one sticks.

I am doing a long Lupron protocol, and start meds on May 10th. My SHG/Mock looked clear, so hoping my lining thickens nicely.
What are your plans for day of ET? I'm doing accupuncture before and after transfer, getting breakfast at a local cafe, then walking in a large indoor/outdoor garden. My husband and I do the same thing after each procedure

@prudence9 I know pgs isn't a guarantee but man, it's scary that a mc can still happen even after testing. FX it's an easy fix and you'll get your rainbow baby in June.

good luck with your protocol and yes I agree it's so long and so annoying! I know in the end the wait is worth it but it's so hard some days.

@Cowboycorgi thanks! And wow, your plan for ET day sounds just perfect! For my last FET I said at work that I have a migraine and took a sick day. I had acupuncture on the next day. This time I think I will have a stomach virus haha. Once I know the exact day I will try to schedule acupuncture for the following day. Probably not as effective as the same day though...

@brooklyngirl18 yeah, we sent the tissues for pathology and the report came back that it was indeed a normal embryo. So I hope they find something that requires one small daily magic pill and I'll be able to carry to full term next time!

and yes, it is long and annoying. But if it gets us an healthy baby we won't remember all this!

@cowboycorgi your fet plans sound perfect. I will probably go to breakfast/lunch after and then relax the rest of the day. I'm taking a personal day from work.

@Prudence9 *TW* I'm sorry for your loss. One of my girlfriends also miscarried a PGS normal embryo last year, but she transferred a second and is due in early July. Fingers crossed this one sticks!

Hey ladies. I just got my Beta results from my 5th FET in April and got a BFN looks like I will be joining you'll in June for another round. I know what days I can go but I haven't picked a specific day yet. DH will look at his work schedule tonight when he gets there. I'm hoping for the 8th of June. I seem to always transfer at the end of the month and flow into the following month. I'd like to change it up a bit.
The day of ET we usually go to a new restaurant to eat and then I take it easy on the couch. My ET is in an office about 2 1/2 hrs away so I usually snooze all the way home anyway. I take 2 days off from work for rest. My boss knows what I'm doing but never asks details he just signs my days off slips.

@thucks FX June will be your month! Sounds like you also have a nice and relaxing day planned! I haven't told at work which is why I make up a story and take a sick day.

ugh my fet was just pushed back a week to June 9. I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme but I'm pretty bummed.

Hey ladies, I see that most of you have an actual date for your FET. This is my first frozen round, and all my nurse told me was the start date of meds, and a calendar of dosage changes/new meds... but there isn't an actual date for the procedure. She just told me June.

Is that because of the protocol I am on, or is there a way that I can figure out the date?

@cowboycorgi what is your protocol? This is my first so I don't really know much either but I am currently on bcp until tuesday. Tuesday I am getting a saline sonogram so make sure my uterus looks good and if so, then I start estrogen that night. I'm supposed to be on estrogen 3-4 weeks,the last week overlapping with PIO and then transfer. June 2 would've been just shy of 4 weeks but I was pushed back a week due to a scheduling conflict. Some protocols use lupron, I'm not sure what the timeframe for that is. when do you start meds?

I'm doing a long Lupron protocol. So I start Lupron on the 10th, and call when my period starts/or the 25th at the latest. At that point it looks like I start adding estrace and then have a lining check done a week later. It sounds like it is a 4-6 week process based off when I get my period on Lupron and how well my lining grows back which is why I'm confused how everyone has a date... but I guess it makes sense if you are doing BCP protocol!

Im slightly concerned about a wedding the first weekend in June, but it sounds like a pretty much guarantee that I won't be doing an ET that soon

@brooklyngirl18 yes. I believe because we are still waiting for the bloodwork results and that I didn't get a chance to take to the dr. Why they didn't schedule me to talk to her before is not clear to me. Ahh.

@Cowboycorgi I don't have the exact date as well. In my case they tell me the week that I will have it done. In my case I start with Lupron then stop BCP and 5 days later ultrasound. If I get the ok then start estrogen patches. And then at the two weeks after starting with the patches I have lining check and if I get the ok ET 5 days or so later. (Last FET they actually did it 4 days later)

@Cowboycorgi I already had my period post retrieval and they go according to the hospital schedule so that's probably why I have an exact date. You probably will get a more precise date once your period arrives. when was your retrieval?

Hi!

I am moving over from the April IVF board. Not sure exactly when I'm transferring, but I just got a call from the clinic and I have 4 pgs normal embryos! Woot! Had my ER last month, and this month is my rest cycle. I'm not sure if I'm going to start with bcp, but hoping to transfer June, if not July!

@cmiller73- Ah- pgs wait is just as bad as the tww! For me, it took about a week. I received my day 6 report on 4/27, and then I got my results today. Not sure when the clinic sent out the biopsy samples though. When I did my pgs testing back in January, I received my result about 10 business days later.

cmiller73 places are so different cashewchicken and I were on the same time table, I was a day ahead and got my result back last week. Hoping yours can magically get here before the weekend!!

@cmiller73 PGS wait is sooo bad! I was lucky to have hardly no wait! My day 6 was a Sat. We shipped it that day, the lab got it on Mon and I had the results on Wed!

@Prudence9 Thats what I'm hoping for. They froze Friday (day 5) and Saturday (day 6) so I thinking they either will get to Jersey either today or tomorrow... FX we get some good news before the weekend

Hi all, looks like I'm going to be a June transfer. I found out that my cycle for May has to be cancelled due to low estrogen. I'll be doing a natural FET cycle, which is basically like an IUI but with a transfer instead of an insemination. This will be our second transfer, our first ended in an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery to remove my right fallopian tube. These are our last 2 embryos so our RE is being really cautious to make sure everything is as ideal as possible.

hope they find out why the previous transfers didn't work.

we will be doing what my re refers to as a natural cycle. Basically I will be doing the same medications as an IUI but rather than doing an insemination at the end, a week after the trigger shot we will do the transfer. We will be transferring both embryos, we chose not to do any testing on them so our re recommended transferring both to give us the best chance.
