So, unless he is a premie, LO will likely be 8lbs+ (genetics). The difference in size between nb and 3 months is staggering! Is it crazy for me to just bring a few onesies and swaddle blankets? Are sleep gowns a better choice? Here are some fun onesie options and two photo options that are 3M, so we shall see when he gets to wear them:

In the hospital, DD only wore onesies and we just kept her wrapped in a blanket. She was also a lot smaller than I anticipated. I was 8lbs, and DH was 8lbs 9oz, so we were surprised that DD wad only 7lbs 2.5oz. I absolutely hate sleep gowns. They always ended up around DD's shoulders. I really preferred zippered sleepers. As far as sizing goes, maybe look for something sized 0-3 mos. It will likely be larger than newborn, but smaller than 3 month stuff.
