I thought of another one, family that won't stop commenting about why I haven't found out the sex yet...Uh anatomy scans are at 20 weeks!!! I'm not paying for an extra elective scan. When I was looking for a new doctor my mom wanted me to use the same one that my sisters use. She made this one off comment that they found out the sex at 16 weeks, I should have gone there.
Confession: Some of the women in the name thread have mentioned their love of the name Elena, and I just want to say "NO. I claimed it first. Find another name"
I'm late but Jax on SOA's name was Jackson and Jax was just his nickname.

@bluejeanbabi05 I feel you. When I was pregnant with DD and settled on Eloise, like three people I knew on social media had babies and used that name. I knew no one with that name previously. True story, I de-friended one of them (a college acquaintance that I had no intention of every seeing or talking to again) because it bothered me so much.

k well whatever all the regulars are here. being all no lifers.
first name: todd last name: S-----a
i told H we would do his first name as the middle name: Joseph. But now i am kinda thinking maybe i should do my maiden name Taylor? worth mentioning if i do Taylor initials would be TTS. my friend says that reminds her of a word, with an "i" in it
@carries2018 I wouldn't worry about the initials, especially since it doesn't even say that. I think Todd Taylor is cute, and I like that it has meaning. Although I suppose the alternative does too.

@beezeemarie I agree, DD's name was such an ah-ha moment. So far nothing has come close to the love I had/have for it. I also chose a unique name and want to find another cute unique name. But it's hard, especially for the boys. Where are all the cute unique boy names?
@mrs_fogue seriously, boy names are so blah. I think it's also a lot harder naming the second one because, for me, it's important for the names to "go together." Whatever that means. And they can't be too similar, which has been a problem for us. For example, DH and I both LOVE the name Noelle, but I can't bring myself to do it because we often call DD Elle (a point of contention for DH and I, because he thinks it's fine). I also like Elise, but obviously that's not going to work with Eloise.

I won't even think about names until we find out what we are having. Coming up with one we agree on is hard, but now we need two. I'll start really thinking about it when we know.
We have middle names chosen for the most part regardless of what combination of sexes we have. Just need one more boy middle name if we have two more boys.
@beezeemarie oh so much this. It really made me question my DD's name because between that and our last name ending in a y, so many names are already crossed out. It's really hard finding a name that complements Aspen with the rest of my criteria.
@carries2018 we totally did. And DD1 wasn't even a second guess. Our original boy name was Logan Cole but it's So freaking popular now and we know a bajillion logans and coles.
Can completely relate with all of this name drama! We have a few contenders but aren't really in love with any of them —fingers crossed it'll get easier once we know the sex in a few weeks.
My TW this morning is GMIL, who, upon finding out that we had Baby No. 2 on the way and I've been feeling extremely sick this time around, proceeded to tell me she thinks morning sickness is "all in these ladies' heads" and she was never sick with either of her pregnancies.

@curlyq423 we're (mostly) waiting too. We had one boy name and one girl name already picked, but it looks like they're identical so we're going to have to figure out another name. I've been running some girl names by DH though. He turned down Colette because he thinks it sounds too much like Charlotte (DD2). I might have him on board with Clara. (Our other girl name was Catherine). I've only been asking about girl names so it probably will turn out to be two boys.
@TallMomma29 They believe ours our fraternal (di/di twins), but from what I've read, even if they are the same sex , I think they could still be identical. Regardless, I don't want to stress until we know the sexes for sure. All of your names are so pretty! My friend had a baby on Sunday and named her Clara.
but really how to i go about telling H i might want Taylor instead of his own name. "hey here is a 30 of miller lite, remember how i shared the last piece of cheesecake with you? well what about Taylor instead of Joseph?"
I just don't want to be like with DD2 and agreeing on her name at like 32 weeks... it was hard to feel super connected until "BG" (baby girl) had a name. Oh and DH had the audacity to throw another name at me on the way to the hospital ( from across the street at the dr office) . Uh no she's Brynn and that's that!
no it was my idea to use his name. but that has been the name for the past 5 years i dont know how connected he is to it now. i could do 2 middlenames i guess but i dont want to haha. the girls have really simple names and Todd is simple i dont want to "over do it"...i suppose i could talk to him like an adult.
honestly so many people have ruined the name "taylor" for me so i don't feel a strong connection to it like i once did. but i do like nodding my family.
DH's boss is a giant TW! I told yall that his sotres inventory was moved to the week after our planned vacation/family reunion with his family. He has mentioned it to his boss but actually stopped him to talk about this today, whether he will still get his vacation or not. Boss has still not given a definite answer more like "why can't you fly to be back earlier" or " your wife may have to go without you." We are running out of time to make alternative vacation plans if it's a no because anything after July is really out of the question and now July is off the books.
@carries2018 I really don't. My girls will be home in 3 hours and I've done nothing. When they get home it's literally in the car to dance and work until 8:30 pm. I still need to cook dinner to bring with us too. Meh I like you guys more than laundry and bills
