Coworkers. Opposing attorneys. Clients. Everyone in my work life! I had a huge project due yesterday, which I spent close to 80 hours on over the last week. I had to put everything else off. Now I'm dreading having to go to work and deal with everyone to catch up.
October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
TW #1: My body. The second trimester is supposed to be this magical time of energy and no nausea. Instead, so far I've been feeling way worse than the first tri. I spent yesterday and last night so sick, throwing up a bunch of times.
TW #2: Today. I woke up feeling better, but within a half hour was feeling sick again. I have a work thing I need to do so got up super early and got myself in my car. I missed ONE turn and it added 30 minutes to my drive. Then I forgot I'm in a rental car and just drove through the toll station, so there should be some fun charges for that. Now I get to sit through this work event feeling like I'm going to throw up for 3 hours.
TW #3: This truck. I'm in a Durango, which is a badass SUV. But parking it is f*cking hard and I've already had multiple embarrassing episodes.
My broker is back which means my bump time will likely be limited. Boooo.

DH and I are both TW's for having such a hard time picking out names.
Friends are TW's for the names they suggest. We were at the comp during a long break, and sitting in the dressing room ( a classroom at a high school), the asked if we had any ideas. I said not really. I had a few on a list, but nothing right now is screaming thats it! So they begin to name names...playing "Let's name Canonmom413's baby!" Sorry folks. My baby will not be named Gary, Harvey, Presley. and so on..... My God, I think some of them they threw out to be funny. Since we were in a classroom, I found a bunch of things with kids names on them. Not sure if it was the area that we were in, but holy shizznit, people really named their kids these things?!? Example : Takuna.
Funny about the Jaxon, DH and I were just discussing the spelling on that yesterday because we have a friend who named her son that. I'm a traditional spelling gal and team Jackson, but DH kind of liked the x. It sounds like a Viking name to me
I love Colton, DH and I talked about that name. I also like Corbin, Graham, Mason, Harrison
Since no one else has any other TW's in their lives...
I like Jaxon as a spelling because of my girls Kylie and Brynn (ya know my psycho numbers thing, although I am slowly liking names that are more letters). The only thing is DH is like, he'll have like 5 others with the same name in his preschool class. He is probably right. We have more on our lists, but we need to get a bit more serious. I think DH will get more serious once we know for sure the sex. We have a couple girl names that we both really like, and girl names are much easier for both of us. So right now were focusing on boy names.
DH. We have a large, senior dog. He was our first pet and it was DH's idea to get him, as I had never had animals before. As a senior dog, he has bathroom troubles and makes a lot of messes. DH was up cleaning up after him at least twice last night. Every time DH was awake, he would make very loud and frustrated sighs and mumblings. Then this morning DH made DS cry by rushing him and threatening no breakfast for no reason.
I am just super annoyed with DH. We are usually pretty chill people who talk about our disputes and get over them quickly. (We have plenty of problems but communication and fighting are not it.) I told DH this morning that "I am so over you already today." For us, that is harsh. Maybe I am also a TW.
*Siggy warning - loss mentioned* Preemie ID DDs; then DS; then natural M/C; now due 10/17 High risk for pre-term: weekly Makena injections
My body is also being a TW @bluejeanbabi05 Everyone says the symptoms go away in the 2nd trimester, and I've yet to see that happen. Currently laying on the couch nauseaous instead of working.
Another TW: My dissertation. Why won't you write yourself??
@aprilsarahjune Im sorry DH is being a TW. Men tend to take their frustrations from 0-100 pretty quickly. And our pregnancy hormones dont help feeling frustrated at them for it too. Hugs momma.
My threenager's listening skills are driving me up.the.wall. Instead of asking him once or twice to do something, we have to ask him appoximately 84 times. My patience is low and I'm tired of repeating myself.
This pregnancy is defiantly a lot tougher than my first. I have been so sick for weeks. Last night I was so tired by 7:30 I was literally fighting to keep my eyes open. I ended up in bed by 8 with a sink full of dirty dishes. Oh well, there will be time for chores later...? Ugh.
TW, this funky mood I've been in. I thought things were looking up today besides the toddler melt down on the way to daycare. Then wham, stupid but disappointing news that brings it all back again.
i whined about it in my ticker change it isn't going away so i will whine some more. i am really get tired of comments from people about it being a boy. i am SUPER excited. but i would be too if it was a girl. people need to back off with their comments "you must be relieved" "glad you FINALLY got your boy" "he is going to be spoiled" no he fucking won't. AND he isnt the first boy. just because my nephew is adopted does mean he isn't numero uno.
My TW: The person who moved my driver's side seat all around in my car. Several people drove it while I was on bed rest the last 2 weeks. I can't seem to get it as comfortable as it was before! Now I hate driving.
@jessdg I think it's super rude when people screw with your seat. Forward/backward is one thing, and I get if you're super tall/super short, but if you're an average size and you're messing with the height, angle, etc, you're a major twatwaffle. Same goes for the steering wheel angle.
New TW: the chair they found for me to sit on at this work thing is a metal folding chair with no cushion. My ass is IN PAIN.
@carries2018 I almost dread finding out (not really though lol), but I do dread the comments. People are already "hoping" it's a boy, and I know I'll get the "well now you have to try for a boy" comments if it's a girl. We will be done at 2 either way. I'd love for DD to have a sister! I would love to have a boy too, so either way we will be good .
My TW is without a DOUBT hormones. My fave is SO SO SO broken out. I've never had acne problems until recently and it's driving me crazy. Also, I'm still getting full blown morning sickness about once a week (I know it could be worse).
Also, this is leftover from last night, but DH got home from work and said "Oh, by the way...I left the pizza out last night (he had a piece before bed), and I just put it back in the fridge this morning"...so it was out for like 6 hours and me and DD ate some for LUNCH. Mine didn't have meat on it, but DD's did. I was like "Are you TRYING to make us sick?!". He doesn't get concerned about eating food that's left out or leftovers that have probably been in the fridge a little too long.
@canonmom413 did I miss something? Are you having a boy?!?
We are also having name drama. We've been totally settled on Colette as a girl name since before we even got pregnant, DD even knows about the name and is constantly referring to the baby as "coco," and now, out of the blue, DH decides he doesn't like it. So I guess he's another TW today. We've been trying to think of others, and we have a few, but we seriously get so heated about it. We are both so f'ing stubborn. I know I should just put it on the back burner until we know the sex, but I'm too type A, I just want to have it figured out now.
edited because spelling is hard.
October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
@beezeemarie No idea yet. But boy names are hard for us. Girl names we agree on much quicker and have a few last contenders. So we are focusing on boy names right now
Also annoyed at the boy/girl comments and I don't even know yet. Before I was even pregnant family kept asking if we were going to "try for a boy." Why???? And now that I'm pregnant a lot of the folks who know have said "I hope it's two boys!" Ugh. For some reason I don't mind people having a preference for their own babies (I have a slight preference for two girls but will be happy with any combo!), but it drives me nuuuuuuts when other people try to dictate what my bab(ies) should be. I don't need at least one of each to make my life or my family complete!

@mrs_fogue I'm sorry for your bad news! I hope today starts looking up a little.
@jessirh that's very rude of your dissertation not to write itself. I feel the exact way about my graduate thesis.

@carries2018 The manager of the store I'm working at right now just went to me, "Oh, a girl huh? Your husband must have been disappointed."
Screw. You.
I'm on my laptop right now, so here is some Tuesday happiness for you:
@bluejeanbabi05 I need to double love tit your MC!!! But my mouth literally fell open at what your manager said!
