For the ladies with the jawline acne. I actually suffered from this after I got off my bcp and the only thing that worked for me was using an apple cider vinegar toner:
For sensitive skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water
For normal/dry skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water
For oily skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 1 part water
and applying tea tree oil to the area and/or using this a Tea Tree Oil face wash by The Body Shop (which can be found at Ulta as well).
Not a ton of symptoms here, just the horrible inner upper thigh/vag pain, the occasional bumping around of baby in there, and still being pretty tired.
Totes jelly of anyone that has their libido back. It is seriously so unappealing to me, and I'm pretty sure DH is like a 9 on the butthurt scale.
18wks 2days (where is the time going?) Doing activities is getting harder. I usually am the yard person, and I needed SO much help from DH, and had to take soo many breaks. It was kind of frustrating, but it was nice seeing DH telling me to go sit in the shade and take over for me. I am having a hard time just being comfortable in general. I am still patiently waiting to DEFINITELY feel baby, as I cannot determine if it's gas/poop or baby.
@mrsmarygs Was it you talking about pain in the middle of your back? I'm suddenly having sharp pains in the middle of my back... it just kind of comes and goes, but it's pretty painful.
@HollyGolightly09 Yeah that was me. I discovered that it went away when I stood/walked around. So now I'm just trying to not sit behind my desk for too long at one time.
Um today there was blood in my nose. Not like a bloody nose, bleeding everywhere. I blew my nose, and there were clots of blood/old blood. My mucus (snot) was clear/normal, so I know it's not an infection, but ugh so weird. I know bloody noses are a symptom of pregnancy, but it's not easy to be like "oh hey blood in nose, that's cool and totally normal"
@labby18 I've had that a few times, I usually figure I had a bit of a bloody nose in my sleep. It's for sure disconcerting. I hate the pregnancy nosebleeds anyway, they always start without any warning.
Linea Negra (that's what it's called right?) Has shown up!
YES. Me too! I thought I was seeing things the other night so when DH got home I was like, "do you see anything different about my belly aside from size and the weird belly button?" And he stared for a few seconds and seemed hesitant before finally asking, "Is there supposed to be a line?" LOL I think he was afraid to tell me in case it meant something was wrong.

I woke up really dizzy this morning. I took a Dramamine, and it got a little better. I know I've seen some people mention it... any ideas to the cause, or what I can do to make it go the F away?
@labby18 I have had the bloody nose thing for a while. Maybe in addition to pregnancy it could be allergies too? I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's pretty common.
I never got linea negra with DD. I'm wondering if I'll get it with these two. Also, my belly button never popped with her either.
@swaddle i woke up DH "do you see this line?!" He very hesitantly said "...yeesss...? Is it supposed to be there?" Hahaha.
@HollyGolightly09 apparently dizziness is a 2nd tri symptom. Try to make sure you have enough water intake and to go from laying/sitting/standing slowly. Part of it is from the increased blood flow I've heard
@HollyGolightly09 I get the dizziness a lot. Second what labby says, also I try to make sure I get a good snack in when I feel dizzy just in case it's my blood sugar. My doctor recommended something with protein in the morning because sugary cereal can make your blood sugar spike and then drop, I'm sure you already knew that but that's just what she told me last appointment. Also she told me if it happens while standing she told me to lay down for a minute if possible. The dizziness SUCKS wish I could give you a hug.
Lord grant me the serenity not to seriously go off on someone today. I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I'm extra irritable this morning....
I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow though, so halfway is exciting!!
@HollyGolightly09 second what was said about food, water, and movement. The only other thing I have to add is, if the dizziness is bad enough, there is a prescription medicine that is safe for us to take, meclizine. I have issues with Virtigo and Hearing Loss that causes severe dizziness and my doctor said that medicine is safe. Good Luck. I think this is one of the worst symptoms, aside from the morning sickness.
@mrsmarygs Yes! I get awful middle/upper back pain every evening. Low back pain still though when I'm on my feet for a while.
I'm 20+6 and I've been snissing for a while. I have to wear a pad. I didn't have this till the very end of my other pgs and not this bad. Ugh.
I also have the crotch pain where it's a little hard to walk and lift up my legs and roll over in bed.
Reflux is also still going strong, and the zantac I took the other night made me feel really weird so I won't take that again.
Fatigue. No energy. I am not very active at all b/c I have zero energy.
Right side rib/back and hip pain..but not too terrible yet.
Oh and I keep seeming to get yeast infections. Gross.
Thought of another! My ankles are swelling most days by the end of the day. I noticed it a few days ago when we were out in the evening. They looked like balloons.
@LosAngelesMama thanks for the link! I've had them in the past and had no issues getting rid of them, so this is a whole new ballgame for me. Definitely have to try it.
@Swazzle No worries, I had a complete emotional breakdown yesterday. I was telling DH that I feel a little overwhelmed by how much we need to do before baby gets here. And how embarrassed I am about our mulch debacle (i ordered mulch, was told half a truck load, or 10 cubic yards, received whole truck load or rather 20cubic yards), and how sorry I am that there's all that mulch in our driveway. I literally just started bawling my eyes out.
@mrsmarygs do you need mulch? it's free. just take it.

Omg I'm actually laughing out loud haha. I'm sorry you got duped with the mulch! I love that you guys are close. I still say you two need to meet up for coffee and video chat me, set me in a chair with a drink and everything.
@labby18 So much mulch! Better to have too much than not enough?
I had a full blown, sobbing meltdown about a month ago because there was a cat where DH works that gave birth to 3 kittens. They got a box for the kittens so they would be safe and planned to take them to his boss's wife who works with a shelter once they weren't nursing anymore. So DH came home and told me this and the completely rational part of me was like "Yay! Those babies will be safe and get spayed/neutered and get adopted to great homes!" but the other, hormonal, pregnant part of me burst into tears and was completely devastated over the mama cat returning to the box to find her kittens gone. I'm not even kidding, I was sobbing for like an hour over this. DH was like
Meanwhile, they took the mama with the babies and she also got spayed and kept them together a little longer then returned the mama back to DH's work and everyone is A-OK.

during my 1st pregnancy, i had an emotional breakdown about how my kitty was going to die in like 18 years. DH was like
@Swazzle i was sobbing and snuggling him and he was getting wet from my tears. poor kitty wanted to run away, and i was like NOOOOOO I only have so much time left with youuuu.
@labby18 Haha, I might actually take you up on that offer. Not sure what DH is planning for our landscaping, but we have been working recently on some general yard work around our new house.
@HollyGolightly09 I know!! I was super bummed! My grandma was sick the whole 9 months all 4 of her pregnancies...
Stuck.... Oh wow, thats awful! I try really hard to be thankful I'm not throwing up constantly, but it still stinks! Gaurantee I don't forget my meds tonight!
I'm still trying to deal with my right kidney. It's not as bad as it was before but it's still giving me some issues. My OB is sending me to a specialist to get a better look at it. They mentioned that I may have to have a stint put in. I really do not want that to happen.

Oh no!!!! I hope it gets better very very quickly!!!!!!

Oh my!!! When do you go to the specialist? Hope the stint isn't needed.

But I dislike the feeling of.. baby/tummy moving back and forth now with .. movements... That's uncomfortable.
