@chailife34 I'm sorry yesterday was so awful. Hospitals can be the worst, but I'm glad you and baby are both doing well. Big hugs! Fingers crossed everything holds until your CS date.
Was in L&D for 12 hours last night. Went to a wedding. Halfway through the ceremony, I had what felt like a strong cramp. Like BH only with pain. Started timing them just in case they were contractions. Once they got to 10 minutes apart I called the OB. Because I'm 33w6 and the fact that I had a previous surgery on my uterus, he told me to come in. While they were contractions, thankfully I wasn't experiencing active labor. No dilation, cervix still high and tight. The contractions got really intense and 5 minutes apart. After 4 bags of fluids, the contractions finally slowed down and were only slightly painful. Since they were so far apart - maybe 2 per hour, they sent me home.
I'm exhausted. Still having period-like cramps and what I call mini-contractions. But other than that feeling fine. Was told I have to decrease my activity level (even more). OB says that a c-section at 37w has become more definite.
@LilMissCrafty wow, what an ending to a wedding! So sorry you had to endure that but happy you are feeling better and things are calm. Rest up, kick your feet up, and keep that cervix high and tight!!
Still in L&D. Very discouraged and missing my boys so much it hurts. I'm at 4cm and his head is engaged and I'm very thin but my fluid levels are even higher now so they won't let me go home and risk water breaking and cord prolapse. They won't induce until 38 so I could be here for another 2-10 days depending on labor/induction/fluid. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought baby 3 would happen this way. My family is helping out but it's horrible not being home with my boys.
@mamatowildones: I'm so sorry to hear that! I haven't been away from my son for a long time (ever) and I'm not sure how I'd handle it. Chatting with your boys would help, right? Can they visit you?
They came for an hour and played with the bed and walked with me thank God they can visit!! Then I insisted DH take them to the park to play. I know my mom is wiped out. The only time I've been away from my oldest is when I spent 2 nights having my second. And I've never been away from them since. Really sucks. Trying to focus on the fact that I'm keeping my son safe and that it all happening for a reason. I can't help but think of how much this is going to cost either. Even with insurance our 2 day stay and 2 day NICU cost $8000. So this should be a whopper. Guess it'll cap at some point. DH keeps reminding me that that isn't important and he's right. Still hard.
@mamatowildones im so sorry, i cant even imagine all youre feeling right now but it sounds like youve got a supportive mom and dh and in the long run this time away from your other boys will be worth it even though its so hard right now. Praying for you!
I'm like omg another baby, yay but at the same time seriously, all the babies, please stay in and keep baking! Congrats @jdebaie, I hope you're both doing well!

@LilMissCrafty sorry you were at L&d last night but happy for you that things seem to be improved. Hoping you can keep baby in for longer.
