tamalahoops apparently DH didn't know that there was a chance the embryo wouldn't survive the thaw.....I casually mentioned that there was a good chance that it would all be fine since the embryo was good quality and he just looked at me with his mouth open for a second like WTF.

Well my meds are ordered but still waiting for AF to show up...
@tamalahoops and @JuliaGoolia719 I'm not sure that DH's quite understand all of this... I know mine doesn't he just shows up when needed.

thucks my DH has definitely not researched this quite as much as I have, he's basically just trusted that I'll keep him informed of all the things he needs to know.....and I think I have for the most part, I clearly dropped the ball on the thawing issue though!

YAY!! AF showed this morning. It's still before clinic hours but as soon as they open I'll call in to get my schedule.

@JuliaGoolia719 We have been at this soo long that my DH forgets everything. He doesn't do my shots and we don't see each other much because of work schedules so he really doesn't know whats going on. But he's there for my mental break downs so that works I guess. I've transfered 10 embroyos in my time and none of them have been bad after thaw before transfer. I seem to have issues once they implant they don't like to stick around.

I got the results this morning! 2 out of the 4 biopsied came back normal! Woo-hoo! Left a message with my RE to schedule a meeting to discuss the results and talk about the FET process! It's gonna be a May FET now, but i'll still be lurking on this board, too...

thucks if DH is home at night I make him come into the kitchen while I do my Lupron shot so he "feels included" meaning I hate needles and if he's home I want to know I'm not alone lol! DH will have to do my PIO shots, and I feel bad about that bc he actually hates needles almost as much as I do.

My husband was obsessed with the timing of the shots when we were stimming. He wanted it at the same time every night down to the minute. He set like 10 alarms so we could have everything ready to go at exactly 8pm. I did my own shots but he gathered all of the supplies and cleaned everything up after I did them. He is going to have to do my PIO shots and I am so worried he is going to hesitate and make it worse, but I'm glad he'll have something to do because I know he feels useless in this process sometimes.

Full flow started- yay! Going in tmrw morning for blood work and they're starting me on birth control tmrw. Saline ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday.

@Hoping10 yay for AF. I'm curious to see how your month will be considering your starting BCP and doing the saline ultrasound.

BW and US is tomorrow morning at 7. I hate doing an US when bleeding. I'll get my official schedule then as for now I'm on my estrogen patches starting with 2 today. My meds should be delivered today too.

Hoping10 yay! it's nice to get started after all the waiting!

tamalahoops My DH is going to do my PIO shots too, except for the first 3 days when I'm on a family vacation without him. I called my aunt and asked her today if she would do them for me while we're at Table Rock Lake for the week, she said she would, I'm hoping that since shes had some experience with IF shots she wont freak out about having to "dart" the needle in.....but only time will tell!

@kris031409 yes, I'm in the same boat except I did not PGS. Ugh so nervous but also keeping positive for our little perfect embryo. FX and praying for our little fighters! I'm on aspirin and estradiol pills, will start PIO shots next week with transfer the 17th. What are the patches you will be put on?

@JuliaGoolia719 yes omg I feel the same way! So terrified for that call on transfer day that either says what time to come in or not to come at all because it didn't survive the thaw...I hope the 17th is still the transfer date, we will find out for sure after my appt Friday.

@tamalahoops awe, our little fighters! Did you do PGS? Yes, once that call comes I will finally be able to breathe. When is your transfer date?

stbollinger FX for a quick TWW! I was talking to my clinic and they only have me wait 8 days after transfer, which seems REALLY fast, we'll transfer on the 17th and test on the 25th.

Rachel_leigh22 I'm on estrogen patches (up to 3 every other day as of yesterday) and estrogen pills at night as of last night, aspirin, Lupron and estradiol pills as of now, I stop the Lupron on the 11th, so it'll be nice to quit one shot before starting the other! I'm trying not to let myself think too much about the chance of damage during the thaw....its almost working.

Hi i have my fet for april 7th after i had a failed fresh transfer in september will be transferring two embryos im excited and nervous will be doing acupunture something new for me cant wait its been long six months had fibroid removed so hopefully ill have a sucessful fet wishing everybody in april alot of baby dust

Rachel_leigh22 my patches are estradiol too. How long are you on the estradiol total? My schedule has me doing it for over 3 weeks, then the 6 days of progesterone before I can transfer. Seems like such a long time to me and it's giving me constant headaches. I'm hoping my lining plumps up and we can move it up a bit.

Great to see a lot of folks moving ahead! I started CD1 yesterday and couldn't be more anxious....!

DH and I completed all the consent forms last night, I arranged for transport of our eggs to the clinic, and I started estrace and baby aspirin (in addition to all of the other stuff I am already on!).

Countdown is on!

It appears our next transfer is @lamaricelita88! Good luck tomorrow! I also plan on doing acupuncture - have done it before and loved it. Only quit going because it is pricey, but I will spend just about anything I can to help myself feel more confident about this procedure.

Ok so really strange- went in for blood work this AM. They called and said all my levels are normal except hcg which is at 10.9. They're having my come in on Monday for blood to see if it came back down to normal. Any ideas why this could be?? I'm so confused..

I forgot to mention this yesterday. Since we were talking about husbands I thought I'd talk about how guys are with all this. I was waiting to be called back for my BW and a guy came in with his "sample" he was sooo funny about it. He kept trying to hid his baggy and fiddling with his shoes and nervous as crap. The nurse came and he was super quiet telling her that he had something to drop off. Of course the nurse wasn't so quiet. Come on dude your in a reproductive office we know what you did this morning in that cup. My husband has don't it a countless number of times. It just cracks me up how desecrate they try to be about it.

@Hoping10 I had a positive HCG 7 days after my last IUI. They tested by accident. It was nothing and I didn't get an explanation but I got my period on time 6 days later. It was a bummer because I was hoping it meant something but it was just a fluke.

thucks my DH wont ever talk about giving samples, its like this period of time just never happened for him! If I asked him I'm sure he'd talk but he so obviously doesn't want to discuss it I'd feel bad lol!

@kris031409 oh I didn't know there were patches...I'm on estradiol for a few weeks after a positive pregnancy test. Yeah I'm also on progesterone shots starting Wednesday night and going until 10weeks of pregnancy. Definitely not looking forward to PIO shots especially for so long.

@stbollinger you have just one frozen embryo to transfer too? When is your date?

Yay fingers crossed feeling different is a good sign! Did you have a 3 or 5dt? I am good thank you, 4 days past 3dt. Have had lots of funny feelings and symptoms, but know it's far too soon to mean anything! How is everyone else feeling? When is everyone testing? X

@JuliaGoolia719 It's so funny how guys are sooo hush hush about what they need to do. There are a few guys that my DH works with that are just starting the whole process and it baffles me about how everything that we go through comes up (like how many ppl have seen my hooha) but the topic of what he needs to do never gets talked about.
