  • So cute @Tourmalily!!!

I also got a kick out of all the likes ours got. I don't AW often but sometimes it feels good!
  • @elsieisamoocow haha, isn't that thing great? I found it on etsy. God I love etsy for baby stuff.

@BayCamp thank you!! I totally am not one for the spotlight so I doubt I'll be posting bumpies or anything like that but THIS was so satisfying. Seeing an my friends and family genuinely excited!

@DuchessOfCambridge thank you! You'll have to share yours when you're ready! :)

  • Everyday I google "two strong heartbeats 9 weeks" and then read encouraging stats. But today brought me to a bump board about loss and it was not good! Very very bad!
  • So...I'm sitting in my office with my pants unbuttoned and half unzipped.  I'm there.

    Same! And totally Al Bundying.
  • @elsieisamoocow Lol! Me too! Totally just had that happen at the gym at work! Luckily just one other person here but...was kind of embarrassed.

  • Does anyone else find themselves wearing pads all the time? I feel super weird about it. It's not even that I'm necessarily worried about bleeding, I just have a crazy amount of discharge once in a while and I think the pad masks it better. Or am I just weird!

  • @baker1jm2 I have not heard of apple cider vinegar for allergies, but I will give it a try! I actually love vinegar and don't mind the taste at all, although a whole shot at once can be pretty intense :)

  • @DuchessOfCambridge I haven't had any issues yet this time, but with my last two I wore panty liners all the time because of the discharge.  One of the great beautiful things about pregnancy!   :D

    @bklynchica I keep doing that too!  :(:(

@Tourmalily love your announcement!  I can't waaaaait to announce!

  • @DuchessOfCambridge the pad thing is smart. Never even thought of that. Granted, I'm at home all day so I'm able to change midday.

I confess I feel guilty for not spending as much time with my kids as I usually am able to. I'm just so tired. Also confess that my DH has stepped up to the plate and I feel totally guilty about him doing so much after he works all day. Also my grandma is very sick and in the hospital but I'm so busy with 4 kids and feeling like garbage that I haven't visited yet and these past few months have only managed one or two phone calls a week. So I feel guilty about that as well. So I guess basically I'm just feeling guilty about everything !
  • @DuchessOfCambridge I've been wearing pantyliners constantly. So much discharge. *tmi* sometimes it's much more watery than I remember in previous pregnancies, making me feel like I've peed my pants a bit *tmi* SO attractive

be caredul peeing on all the sticks! I did that with my first pregnancy. At a certain point (I forget when, maybe around 12 weeks or a little earlier?) your hcg levels get too high for the test to pick up. They pick up hcg levels within a certain range. So the hormones don't show up on the pregnancy tests and you get negative tests. This is called the hook effect. It was really scary for me, so I just wanted to let you know so that you can expect to soon see a lighter line or no line... and that's a good thing!

*edited because I had remembered some incorrect information from my first successful pregnancy and wanted to correct it.

  • I accidentally just hit the report button on @elsieisamoocow's post. The page went kind of faded but I didn't see a pop up to fill out or anything. I hit the back button and then clicked on the thread again. Did I actually report anything?? It was just clumsy fingers!!

  • @TeacherMama7 Oh, I stopped when I missed my period a long time ago!  ;)
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @TeacherMama7 thanks for the concern but I too stopped quite a while ago!

I'm wearing pants today that used to be too big for me in the waist. They're not too big for me and my bloat anymore  I have a few pairs of pants I bought on clearance at J Crew that were a size or two too big with the intention of getting them tailored. Now I'm really happy I never got around to it! Hopefully they'll make the in-between normal clothes and maternity clothes period easier.

@DuchessOfCambridge you're not crazy at all. As soon as I get home I am POAS just to relieve my anxiety. And I may have pics of BFPs on my phone just so I can look at them when I start to doubt myself. Yup, I keep pics of things I peed on on my phone. Judge away.
Uh I def have a couples pics on my phone too, we also kept the test for like 2 weeks after because we were totally in disbelief.
  • @KLink15 I still have the pictures on my phone and I still have the test saved. Idk why! Will probably remember to toss it when we're packing up to move.

  • @Tourmalily I got that same mug for DH and an imprinted spoon. They took too long to arrive so I had to make him a handmade announcement. He loves the mug though.
  • @lahansen If you use apple cider vinegar for allergies, make sure it's the unfiltered, murky kind. I'm not an expert on it but from what I hear, the clear stuff doesn't work for that kind of thing.

  • I finished lunch at 2, it's 3:45, and I'm getting chips from the vending machine because it feels like I never ate. The hunger is real. AND I'm getting Burger King for dinner because DH is out tonight, haters gonna hate. I like McDonald's better but BK is on my way home and I am lazy.

  • @cmessamore The only good thing about going to the gym right now is the 2 hours of free childcare for my kids.

  • @kissthesky32 my gym doesn't have a daycare! :/  If it did, I'd probably just try to nap on the mats and pretend I'm meditating at this point! :D
  • @cmessamore working out makes me feel tired, sore, and want mozzarella sticks. But I still make myself do it 3-4 times a week. Mainly because of what @kissthesky32 said, child care. I will suffer through an hour of spin or yoga if it means I can chill in the locker room bumping for a bit and reward myself with Arby's after lol

That and the fact that if I gain a ton of weight I can risk out of my birth center. That's a motivator! But mainly, mozzarella sticks and child care  :D

  • Yard work is usually my chore because I'm weird and enjoy mowing. DH won't let me push mow because I'm pregnant and I'm really enjoying sitting on the couch while he does all the work. No guilt whatsoever.
  • @BayCamp you're still better than me!! Lol
  • @cmessamore I feel the same way about exercise. Vaguely annoyed. But also vaguely jealous.

In the past I've really loved the different Tone It Up series, and the bikini series is starting in a week. My goal is to follow along at a hilariously abbreviated pace now that I'm sort of feeling better. My energy still sucks and my body still randomly hurts. But maybe being 12 weeks by then combined with light exercise will raise my energy a bit?!

  • Lol I am using all my energy just to not throw up. I made the mistake of stumbling on a board about exercise because I thought I would find some tips and instead all these women were exercising 5 days a week.  It just made me sad.  I am lucky to go for a walk and only because DH makes me.  I am hoping when the nausea is better I can get out more.
  • Lol!! Thanks @angkay711 glad I'm not alone as a couch potato! Lol
