I have no plans. DH gets back tomorrow evening so that's nice. I have 1 client appointment in 5 minutes, after I can start my weekend, which will be relaxing and some cleaning.
DH is working as much overtime as they'll let him so it's just DS and I home today. He's snoozing on me right now. We may go for a walk or play outside if it doesn't rain! No big plans today.
DH is busy doing Magic nerd things today. I braved extra-slow public transportation in horrible weather (a cold mix of rain, snow, and sleet) to have lunch with SIL, who I hadn't seen in almost two months. Now I'm on the train home to do some lesson planning, grade some essays, and hopefully take a nap!! I'm also hoping to see April the giraffe finally have that baby!
I'm at a little league baseball game... my nephew plays in a little while. I'm keeping the record book, which means we have to sit near the actual bleachers. We normally sit in the outfield because we have a hard time keeping our mouths shut about other people's kids. My dad and I are THOSE people.
@HollyGolightly09 We are also those people. I have a nine year old cousin, and it's so hard to go to his games and not comment on the other kids and families, because people are weird.
Today is is just a chill day, nothing really to do. Tomorrow I have a writer's workshop in the afternoon that I help with, but other than that my only weekend plan is to make DH walk with me to Ghirardeli's for ice cream later.
We're painting the 3 bedrooms upstairs next week (including baby's room), so picked up paint and did a walk through with our contractor. Taking one of my dogs to the vet this afternoon, then DH is meeting up with friends. It's a chilly, drizzly day (finally!) for us, so relaxing at home is my preference

Tonight we are going to Cleveland to see a broadway show. Tomorrow I am going to have a girls day with a friend seeing Beauty and the beast, pedis, shopping and lunch. Right now I am wondering how likely it will be for me to take Monday morning off and sleep.
@Ae_Lovely321 I second @HollyGolightly09 on that question! I wanted to see it but couldn't decide if it was worth seeing in theaters. I loved the harry potter movies!
@HollyGolightly09@LaceyC1020 We saw Fantastic Beasts in theaters and loved it. I'm also a huge HP nerd, but I did think it was very well done.
My stepson and I are hanging out at the library for a bit since DH got called into work. I'm about going home and doing laundry :-/ But I checked out a couple movies to watch tonight and more books than I probably should have which is always fun.
Went to a baby retailer trade show this morning. Then went to my MILs for a visit and now just chilling. Trying decide if Chinese food for dinner is good thing or not.
DH went to work today, so DS and I loaded the dog in the car and drove to my parent's house! It's dumping snow today, which is pretty fun, so I thought we might have a sleepover here tonight! The last few days have been actually pretty mild in terms of morning sickness, but this extreme fatigue seems to have kicked in. I'd much rather be just tired than tired and sick. But it'll be nice when DS and I can go out and do things again! But for now, we can just stay in, eat strawberry ice cream, and enjoy the snow
@HollyGolightly09 I really liked Fantastic Beasts! The ended totally leaves you ready to binge the rest of the series that doesn't exist yet tho.
Oh hey guys, my clients just left. My internet provider has a system wide outage (I do not have internet luck lately), so I kind of don't want to go home...Add on to that, I live on the way to the "touristy main beach" and there is a 20min delay to get home...JUST BECAUSE OF STUPID BEACH TRAFFIC. So I am jelly of the rainy, snowy, sleety weather everyone else seems to be having.
I slept in this morning! Then me and SO went to one of his side jobs with DD because they have kids so I watched the kiddos while the others worked. They got to swim and have fun. Now I'm laying in bed reading a book trying to get rid of a headache.
Last night I was so excited because I felt my first kick and today I've definitely felt a little movement. It seems like I've been waiting forever to feel the little one.
I'm impressed with all of you ladies cleaning and getting the baby's room together. I can't get motivated to do that just yet. Went to yoga this morning and then to a Scandinavian festival for music, crafts, and delicious treats. Tomorrow I'll have to get DS out of the apartment because the huz is working on completing a woodworking project. Somehow this pregnancy has turned my husband into someone who does woodworking projects on the weekends...
My mom is in town. Took me shopping for maternity clothes. Got a lot of nice stuff, but it was exhausting and my feet are killing me. I complained that it was too much walking and my mom just said that I should definitely be walking at least that much everyday, so I shouldn't be so tired or have hurt feet. I'm sorry, but standing for over an hour straight either walking around or trying on clothes is more work than I normally do at a time. It's definitely more work than I thought it would be. I guess I didn't shop like that much before I was pregnant.
ETA: She also didn't want me to stop to get water until we were done. Might have been part of the issue.
@hollyGolighty09@LaceyC1020 yes it was really good. It focuses on the magic world in America which I thought was cool. @Labby18 I know right. I was like no it can't be over yet, I need to see more.
DH works most Saturdays so it was just me and the (fur)kids all day! I started watching Friday Night Lights which I'm totally hooked on and I managed to get all the laundry done. Now I'm waiting for DH to get home with mangos and plum juice lol

@bridge-and-wall I love shopping especially at the mall or target. I can be there for hours just walking around. I read somewhere that walking around the grocery store for I believe 20 minutes burns 100 calories. I use this as justification for why I can eat that food court pretzel with no guilt
I Did grocery shopping today and a little yard work. Will work on a report for my second job in a bit. We are watching who framed roger rabbit with my step kids. Tomorrow cleaning, going to a wedding reception, and more work on my second job. Pretty boring as usual
Surviving. Might of just cried from the frustration of being queasy all the damn time. Seriously can eat and be queasy 5 minutes later. And I'll be hungry and nothing will sound good. I hate this.
The morning started off okay, I got a 2.7 mile run in and DH brought me Starbucks. Had my first uninterrupted shower in forever. And it's been downhill since then. If I feel better later I'm hoping we can go to Road Runner Sports to get a new pair of running shoes.
Apparently also on the agenda, not letting pregnancy hormones get the better of me. DH texted me and I can't tell if he is serious or joking. But either way, I'm not responding because it's pissing me off regardless.
@Carebella Oh no! I am so sorry you are feeling so blahh! I hope you feel better. But hey, uninterrupted sounds like a mini win for today! But forreal, I do not miss that constant nausea, hope you get your new shoes!!
I couldn't stand naps until I got pregnant with DS. They're still questionable sometimes but much needed these days. I used to always wake up feeling awful afterwards. Now it's only sometimes. My poor mom, I cut out naps at a very young age.
@carebella DITTO. I never used to really be able to nap. my brain is like go go go go go go during the day. Like I'm up or I'm sleeping no naps. And now...now I'm like heyy let's nap all the time. lol

I think H and I are going to brave Walmart tomorrow to return the dreaded off registry stroller/car seat combo. I will do laundry tomorrow.
