Not sure if I just lost my mucus plug or if I have such an increase in discharge and it's tinged with blood from my membrane sweep yesterday. Either way, TMI. Here's to hoping it was the plug and it's one step closer to baby.
@wagnerw, I was thinking the same thing for myself. My OB did a check on Wednesday and this thick mucousy stuff has been coming out... So sounds like it is for you too!

That moment when your 8 year old student has an accident and is too embarrassed to go back to class, so you convince them by telling them not to worry people have accidents. Pregnant women have them all the time, when they sneeze when they laugh, literally all the time. At least it made him laugh and go back to class.
Hemroids ugh! Do they ever truly completely go away? Do they get worse with subsequent pregnancies?? I strained too hard the other day and it didn't help I'm on iron supplements which cause constipation. I also take colace. I'm terrified to think of it getting inflamed again after pushing for labor.
Ok, this is an odd one...anyone feel like their discharge lessened at all lately? Earlier on in this thread I was complaining about the insane amount and then the last several days it's been almost non-existent. What's up with that? I thought it increased as time got closer...should I enjoy the fact that it's not much lately or should I be concerned that something is up?
@visualcircus, my hemmies do go away after birth. They stay away if I eat greens daily in some form. They do get much worse after birth for a while. I always get them in first try and have at least one throughout the pregnancy. Ugh.
My tmi is that I have had loose stools twice today. I normally go once a day like clockwork and it's not loose. So I wondered if it's my body cleaning out but it seems early for that since I'm 37 wks today.
My TMI today is that I have had my first "regular" BM in months! I was amazing! I am so utterly constipated during my entire pregnancy, other than those 10 hours I had the stomach virus.
@omie_wise, glad I'm not the only odd one out! I am on antibiotics for a sinus infection...Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Probably not but?
@KirstinH88 I sneezed at the grocery store yesterday. Luckily, It wasn't enough pee to soak through my pants, and I was wearing dark leggings with a tunic, but still made for a quite uncomfortable ride home.
How about excessive groin sweat?? ugh... I don't remember sweating this much with my first pregnancy probably cuz I lived in a colder climate, now since I'm FL I s eat like crazy down there...I hate it...
@mylittleirvz I am also on antibiotics for the same... hang in there.. I only started yesterday, currently still struggling to breathe!!
Me: 35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier. My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever. Our baby boy: Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks. I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!! Last measurement: 3150 gs at 37+1! This is going to be a big baby
I have another TMI... DH trimmed me up "down there" last night because I cant see any of it! I never thought I would have to have someone else do that. And, it tickled, so on top of being a little bit embarrassed, I couldn't stop laughing. I was afraid I was going to pee on him while he was doing it.
@soon2bmomof3-2 I totally understand over here. I have had sweating and who knows what else and basically need pantyliners all the time and God help me if I don't wear them. I even soak through them sometimes. I just started doing primrose oil last night so I woke up to that little droplets of mess-hope it's worth it
@a box of chocolates, glad someone can relate. I think maybe it's because when we sit our belly combined with the body heat of the baby just makes us sweat really bad? Idk but it's annoying!!! And yes I need liners as well!
@woodside, I noticed that I have minor hemmroids as well. I always wondered why in the last few months my butt itched/felt sore when I would wipe and when I looked, lo and behold.... ugh... the joys of pregnancy! LOL
So we finally had sex last night after a hiatus since august. I told DH that I needed prostaglandins to efface and it would be his fault if I end up needing an induction if he doesn't step up. How romantic. Lol
@MWoodside, nothing like a little pep talk to get everyone in the mood I am going to ask DH for some sexytime today as well. I would like to get things going here.
MMC @ 10w March 2016 Cautiously expecting April 5, 2017
@MWoodside I feel like I'm about to have the same conversation with my husband. I have hinted and told him all the things to help avoid an induction, but still no action, literally. Guess it's time to be more direct! Iran bound to set the mood
@ Woodside, that sounds like something I would have to say to my hubby. We've been on hiatus since Aug as well... but I don't see that happening for a while since he's currently in the doghouse...LoL
My husband didn't take the hints when I told him sex gets things going naturally.. so I said "like it not were having sex.. let's go." And shut off the TV on him the other night. He couldn't really argue with that
I told my husband he can help me out when it's time, with sex. But he took that to mean "sex will make her come sooner" which to him means not getting his projects done at work before paternity leave so now he definitely won't come near me. Ugh! I know it's fine now. Now 38 weeks even. But I think this means he won't come near me until 40. Sigh.
My husband is so firmly against penetrative sex, that I don't even have a chance of convincing him. I may stand a chance if we both become desperate around 40 but not sooner. I have copied @MWoodside 's comment and will use it on him at one point

@HGRich I think that's the same as my DH... he thinks it's for 40 weeks + so the baby doesn't come too soon *eye roll*. I read somewhere that it takes three "doses" of the prostaglandins in semen to be effective, who knows how true that is, but I feel like that means several sexy time sessions on consecutive days!
Ok I almost didn't post this one because it's definitely not classy or dignified, but this IS the TMI thread and we all know pregnancy isn't always classy and dignified...and the first time it happened I laughed SO hard.
So pregnancy comes with a bit of flatulence, right? Has anyone else farted so loudly that baby jumped violently? Because I have. Lucy startled so hard it actually hurt. Which made me laugh really hard and then I did it again shortly and she did the same thing! It just goes to show how refined her hearing is at this point in the pregnancy. One of those things I will never tell her about later.
Sex for natural labor, tried and true here. I was not dilated at all on Tuesday at my dr appt, had sex Wednesday night, started contractions Thursday morning and miss Skylar arrived Friday morning
Also, today is my first poop since delivery. It's not nearly as painful as birthing a child hahaha
On Saturday afternoon (following a "dose" of prostaglandins on Friday night) DH asked me why his sperm was strong enough to get me pregnant, but not strong enough to induce labor. Um, patience my young grasshopper.....
Forgot to post this when it happened haha. Yesterday afternoon DH asked if I was okay since I was curled in fetal position on the couch. I said I was fine, just had a mild cramp and had to go to the bathroom in a bit. So I got up and went to the bathroom, in the meantime I guess DH was frantically packing his hospital bag. When I got out of the bathroom he was holding his bag, all haphazardly packed, and was like "should I call the dr? Is it time to go?" I had to break the news to him that it was just a poop cramp. At least his bag is packed though!

Bwahahaha!!! This morning, my back was not feeling good. I text DH that it was achy. Then about 20 minutes later, he texts back saying "sorry." and I told him "It's ok. I feel better now. ::poop emoji::" HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
