I'm now 5dpt. I was extremely bloated for a couple of days past transfer. It's better now, but I've definitely had twinges and some cramping, especially on the right side. I also felt a tugging sensation in my lower abdomen for a couple of days after transfer. Since Saturday. my breasts have been a bit sore. And I've been hungrier than usual. Ah and this AM, I had a tiny bit of spotting. But this can all be bc of PIO so we'll see. Beta Friday!!!

@xomarisaxo Oh! Congratulations! the hormones are getting to me, I saw the pics and teared up a bit.
So second shot of the PIO yesterday. Ouch, ladies tensing up hurts worse. : ( Learned my lesson there. Also it makes me pee in the middle of the night, and my boobs already hurt...
The closer I get to Friday the higher my nerves. I'm going to break out the coloring books and play some soothing music tonight.
@xomarisaxo Wow, twins is such great news!!! You must be over the moon, the pics are great.
AFM, I tested again today and the line got darker, definitely a positive, yay! Exciting and scary at the same time. Scary also because this morning I had intense cramping all over the abdomen, not period like, more like the pain I was in when I had OHSS (I hope this is not OHSS again because of the trigger shot and Femara I took, ugh)..I hope I'm not jinxing myself. Dear Lord, make the beta come sooner and let everything be alright!
@xomarisaxo such amazing news!! That's so great!! My blood test was 10dp5dt and then 12dp5dt. That's amazing you got an ultrasound!! I won't have mine til the week of April 17th! ahh so so happy for you!

Hello ladies! I've been MIA for a bit cause it was absolutely crazy at work.
I'm so happy to read so many good news. I'm still catching up on all the posts from the last two pages ;-)
Congrats @xomarisaxo - twins, that's amazing! How many weeks were you when you had this first ultrasound? Congrats also to @liljoy - such fantastic news!
To all ladies: Is it just me or did most of you also gain weight during your IVF cycle? I must've gained 3 kgs (I'm only 1.60m, so that's a lot and really shows!) and must have lots of what looks like water retention. Did you experience the same? I'm wondering if it's just from my comfort-eating over the past three months of IVF craziness or if it's indeed (at least partly) got to do with the hormones?!
To all ladies with BFPs: how many betas will you be having? And for which week of pregnancy is your first ultrasound (to detect heartbeat) scheduled for?
Big hug to everyone - let's hope for more BFPs to come in!!

Im curious about number of betas and ultrasound dates too @HopeSIN. I feel like so many people get third betas and early ultrasounds on here and I'm so jealous! My first ultrasound will be at 6w5d on April 10th, and I already feel like I'm going bat shit crazy waiting
I am scheduled for a third beta on Monday which will be 19dp5dt and then I will have an ultrasound during the week of April 17th which is between weeks 7 & 8. I wish it was a little earlier though!!

I've been feeling extremely bloated over the past 2 days, like looking 4 months pregnant kind. No pants fit anymore. I can't even sleep normally, but in a reclined position. Is this normal a week+ after transfer?? I also have no appetite at all, I barely eat, when I know I should be doing the opposite, ugh.
@liljoy I would call the dr to ask about the bloating and lack of appetite. I know progesterone can make you feel bloated but your case seems a little extreme. It also sounds like you are pretty stressed and anxious (understandably so), maybe that's causing issues with eating? Do you mean that your line isn't getting darker, just staying faint? Your beta is tomorrow? Mine was at 10dp5dt and 12dp5dt. I think 9/10 days is pretty standard since that would be right around when a normal person would miss their period.

Lin&say Thanks. I'll go in tomorrow and see what they say. Today I'm better though. Looks like the bloating is mainly in the evenings (I suspect mild OHSS, I've had a bad case last time on stims, so I am prone to it/very sensitive to the hcg), and the lack of appetite could be due to the nervousness of this delayed beta, yes. The line fluctuates, today it was darker in the morning, so I think these cheap internet tests could be the problem (I read bad reviews).
Hi Everyone - I have been following this thread all week and joined theBump on Monday to post, but I was restricted from doing so until today (I learned you have to be a member for a couple days before posting).
I had my FET on 3/23/17, my 1st round of IVF was in January and failed. Following this board this week has been helpful in getting me through the 2WW. I've never joined a board or gone to a group meeting, but seeing that you are going through something so close to what I am has provided me with some real comfort.
@Hoping10 I really hope tomorrow goes well! I also hope you are able to keep busy. I know that I am quickly approaching the edge of sanity as my beta day approaches and hope that you are able to handle the anticipation as best as you can.
Any prior IVFers comparing the symptoms this round with the IVF? I had some mild spotting 5dp5dt and 7dp5dt, which I did not have last time, but it is impossible to know what that means. It keeps me wondering though.
I go back and forth regarding whether I want to POAS. Part of me wants to do it tomorrow. I did not POAS in Jan. when we had IVF. Anyone regret POAS before the beta?
@elmela Welcome! I think I am in similar shoes. Regarding POAS, well, if you get a positive then you don't regret it, but if you get a negative you can stress out for nothing, since you know we had ladies here that got negatives home and positive betas. I guess it depends on what makes you feel better. When is your beta? Good luck.
@Lin&say: I feel with you! My first ultrasound will also
be on 10th of April where they want to make sure that they embryo
implanted in the right space (and not the Fallopian tubes). I will be 5w6d by
then.
@ktc18: thanks for the info. I think three betas are quite
normal. My doc told me he wants to do weekly ones, I think more though to see
if my hormone levels are okay as well and to see if he has to adjust the intake
of either progesterone & estrogene. How far along will you be at your
ultrasound for the heartbeat?
@liljoy: I feel you with the continuous testing. I can’t
help either!
@elmela: welcome to the group! For me, I had what was most
likely implantation spotting late night 5dp5dt and morning of 6dp5dt. On that
same day I got my first very very faint BFP (both HPT and proven with a blood
test).
Q for those ladies who've gotten BFPs now: I've had lots of nausea and backache last weekend at 6dp5dt & 7dp5dt when I got my first very very faint BFP, but since three/four days ago all symptoms have completely stopped. I'm really worried now, especially after my loss last time. Did any of you have the same shift or loss of symptoms? My next beta is on Monday, so it's gonna be a loooooong weekend

@HopeSIN How did your second beta go? I don't remember seeing an update on that! I feel your stress about loss/lack of symptoms. I've barely had any symptoms at all...just a little queasy if I don't eat every few hours. So of course I've been stressing that I'm going to lose the baby. But based on chatting with friends, it's pretty common not to have many symptoms this early on.

@lin&say thanks for your kind words. My first beta at 6dp5dt was 32, the second on 8dp5dt was 120, so all good so far. The day after the beta I suddenly started losing all nausea (which was really strong already!), all the sleeping problems (which I had massively in my first pregnancy) and all the massive lower back pain. So now I'm just super paranoid that something didn't work out. And I'm anxious that even if I would end up having a miscarriage, I wouldn't even know cause I'm on oestrogen and two types of progesterone, so a bleeding wouldn't even set in until I'd stop the medication. @LeFemmeViolette Yay, congrats, you must be in seventh heaven. Twins!! @Hoping10 I am truly sorry Hopefully the RE can switch your protocol for the next one. You have many normals left, so I'm sure you will be successful!
AFM, my beta was 300. Not too high for 10dpt but hopefully it raises on Monday. I'm cautiously excited and I'm trying to think positive thoughts.
@Liljoy: 300 sounds definitely like a good value for 10dpt - I found this really interesting list here (https://www.surromomsonline.com/support/showthread.php?104399-Master-Beta-Break-Down-List) that shows you average values by dpt. My beta was 102 at 8dp5dt (and 32 at 6dp5dt), so mine would've been even lower than 300 if measured on 10dp5dt, I guess. I also have another beta coming up on Monday - let's keep each other updated! @HopeSIN That's a great second beta! I hope your third beta on Monday will be just as great and will give you a little peace of mind until your ultrasound ❤️ my second and final beta was last Saturday. I have to wait until April 10th until my ultrasound...so a little over two weeks of waiting torture for me ahh. Hope you're able to find fun ways to distract yourself this weekend!
@Hoping10 I'm so sorry This journey is so unfair. I hope you're able to take some time for yourself before jumping into your next cycle.
I just got my 3rd beta results from 15dp5dt - it's 5,350! (which is a lot higher than the 1,500 I expected). Seems like my beta HCG values doubled every 24 hours instead of every 48-72 hours. I'll - cautiously - take this as a good sign and am cautiously happy. I wish those next 7 weeks will go by fast... Have a great start into the week everyone!

@Hoping10 I am truly sorry
AFM, my beta was 300. Not too high for 10dpt but hopefully it raises on Monday. I'm cautiously excited and I'm trying to think positive thoughts.
I also have another beta coming up on Monday - let's keep each other updated! All the very best!

@liljoy That's a Great beta number!!!
