Hey all. I'm new. We are scheduled to transfer march 7th. This will be my third transfer. 1st was two years ago and successful we also did a transfer in Jan '17 which was unsuccessful. So we are clearly hoping for a positive result this time around.
The thread is heating up, ladies @krenee124 Sorry for your negative. This will be my first FET and in terms of protocols, there are three broad ones, as far as I understand: - controlled (with estrogen and progesterone) -natural, no meds at all -letrozole and hcg booster shots
I am doing the natural one, hopefully biology will cooperate at least this time with me.
I have one month gap between ER and FET, my doc thought it's best to let the body rest and hormones readjust.
@HopeSIN, @DungeonTrollMel, @LeFemmeViolette thanks ladies. Spoke with my office today - today is CD1- full flow. I am staring estradiol tomorrow and doing that for full cycle. I will go in on 3/15 for a lining check and start progesterone as long as everything looks good. Transfer should be on 3/22 as long as everything looks okay on the 15th. Praying so hard!!!
Afm, I had what I thought was full flow yesterday. Have barely bled since so have not started the estrogen and need to wait for full flow! Good luck to everyone!! Keep us up to date
@Hoping10 congrats on great news! 7 embryos is amazing! We are in the same boat - waiting on AF so we can do transfer! Will you start meds once AF comes? They have me scheduled to take estrogen and baby aspirin. Scan one time day 10-14 and a week later the transfer!
@Hoping10 7 is great! I had 8 too, though after the PGS it came down to 2. Started meds yesterday, it's getting real. I'm trying to abide by a special diet to help with my endo.
@krenee124 Yes, I will go in on day 3 and begin estrogen (anywhere from 4-12 days). I believe they scan every 5-7 days on estrogen then when lining is good, they start progesterone. About a week after will be the transfer.

hey all... popping on here too. I'll be doing an FET this month at some point. I'm doing a natural cycle so we have to wait till I get ready to ovulate naturally then trigger. Planning on transferring 2 embryos. Currently on CD 4. I will read up on this tread and catch up on the news with all of yall.
Hi! I had my 2nd FET this morning. This is our last hope. We did IVF in 9/2016. Fresh cycle got pregnant but was told it was a chemical pregnancy. First FET was 1/2017 and pregnancy test was negative. This is our last embryo. My pregnancy test is 3/14 and beta is 3/16. Good thoughts to all you for BFPs!!!
Sorry I've been MIA lately...work has been crazy. Went in for my ultrasound today...lining is measuring at 10 so we're all set to transfer on Monday. I'm trying to be hopeful about it but I just have this gut feeling it's not going to work. Infertility sure does know how to suck the joy out of things.

Had a repeat scan today and even though my estrogen is rising, my lining went down to 7.1 and we don't really know why. Added a third patch and going back tomorrow. Hopefully it was just a full-ish bladder situation. Really want to keep my transfer for next Monday.
We did my intralipids in prep for next week. That was a nice two hour break from work

@JessDi Hang in there, I know the feeling of "this is my last chance"...I feel the same for my upcoming FET. I'm usually a pessimistic person, and all the infertility battle left me even more jaded, but I told myself I now "owe it" to my embryo to be positive and relax until proven otherwise. It can only do us good.

@ktc18 patches are a part of my normal protocol. I started with them and built up to pills and cream. I have had to add one more based on labs and scans. I am now on 3 patches changed every 3 days

I'm not on patch, but taking estradiol pills- 2 a day and then on Saturday, it goes to 3 a day. I go back in for monitoring Thursday. And I will be on PIO as well

@ktc18 I do 3 estrace patches at a time, estradiol twice a day and vaginal estrace cream once a day. Then I do PIO 1.5 mL a day and 10% progesterone cream vaginally twice a day.
(Yes, that is 3 creams a day up there. Yes we call it swamp vag)

This is a very interesting study regarding a FET failure reason, negative integrin expression (usually in women with endo), that can be fixed with letrozole: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3279128/
My RE is a believer and has all her patients on letrozole before FET.
