@CandyApple2012 I'm sorry about your dog. I hope he's alright. @Tennis11785 Yes, I get nausea and a headache before I O. that and bloating/gas seems to be a recurring symptom for me. I think it's progesterone, which is also what causes nausea when you're KU.

**TW*** @starla - oh good. that would mean I've got plenty of progesterone. I would say this nausea is worse than it was with ANY of my pregnancies. So if lack of progesterone was a problem and related to my 2 MC, my body has figured its sh!t out.

@lulu1180 gotcha. I kind of want to get into running because I want to do OCRs down the road, and running is kind of necessary if I want to compete. Also, that whole post was amazing. your gif game is strong.
Thank you @kvacmak When I have the extra few minutes at work, I try to find some awesome ones! As for the running, I say give it a shot, I don't think you'll regret it once you really get into it. Just a tip though, if you have a Marshall's near you (or similar store) I would check them out for running clothes as it's a lot cheaper than going through department stores.
@50Wife I had to try hard not to burst into laughter at you calling your body and OPKs bitches!
@lulu1180 thanks for the reassurance. I think I was just a little surprised. I do tend to alternate, historically a cycle 29-33 days and then a 26 day cycle, so it would make sense that O would occur earlier in the 26 day cycle (which this one would be in keeping with the pattern). @kvacmak Ovulation dips can definitely be a thing (not for everyone, and really only identifiable in retrospect, but a low temp isn’t necessarily a big thing). In terms of EWCM vs. “leftovers” EWCM stretches, not snaps; dropped in water (toilet) it will ball up and sink, not dissolve; if you get some on toilet paper it will remain on top, semen will dissolve after a bit. Also, I wait at least 12 hours post HIO before I even attempt to distinguish, b/c by then it’s much more likely to be EWCM.
@justkeepswimming8 I also get really nauseous during my TWW, I just have to remind myself: if I’m pregnant enough for symptoms I’m pregnant enough to turn a test, helps from getting my hopes up.

As far as TTC goes, I'm just hoping that my next two cycles stay on schedule so that I can actually start IUI next cycle. This is also the first time I've actually typed 7/7 TTCAL. @Sailing_Mama Glad to hear you had a good talk with your friend and things are looking up.
@purplg8r I'm glad you've been having a good time. What if you were to ask for a scan sooner just so you can get a feel for which trend (bigger or smaller) this thing is on. For one thing, depending on what and why, it could be pumping out hormones which sucks extra. It sounds like sometimes they use corpus luteum and cyst interchangeably so we hear cyst and freak but they aren't as concerned. *TW* FWIW, after my MC she said that I had a sizable cyst (I didn't even think to ask size at the time because it was in the middle of everything else) and I got myself good and freaked out with the help of Dr. Google. Spoiler: it went away on its own in a reasonable time, no big deal. You never cry at movies??? I'd give a nickel to not cry like a little wimp at all the things!
@kvacmak I often get a temp drop on O day. As for differentiating CM from other things, CM will stick together in water and semen will dissipate. But who can see that in the toilet, right? So look for lubricating qualities or just check a bit later. Just skip all forms of nause----- and go for fun terms like 'barfy' and 'ralphy'
@shortstack930 I'm sorry that you're experiencing secondary IF. That's got to be tough to wrap your mind around.
@Tennis11785 I saw that about the Oxford comma! Haha. I think that the grammar goes out the window here to an extent because it's so much more stream of consciousness and conversational. Maybe because there's so much emotion involved, I don't have as much brain power left over for grammar.
@lulu1180@MJDsquared I love that movie, too. We should all do a rewatch. It had a pretty good soundtrack, too!
@kiwi2628 May the power of positive thinking do the trick this cycle.
@ali_gator11 I forget, are you guys doing IUI with ultrasounds or DIY?
@kiki75 maybe that's it (emotion and string of conciousness). And for what it's worth (kvacmak) - I'm totally pro Oxford comma! Like I said, I usually stick pretty well to AP style for everything. But I think using it makes things so much clearer.

GTKY: What movie moment(s) gives you all the feels regardless of how many times you see it? This is a really good question, but I honestly can't think of a movie right now. I will say that I almost cried during a read aloud last week. Another teacher organized a book bracket for March Madness that requires us to read two books to the kids everyday, then they vote on which one the liked better. Well, last week I was really busy and didn't read the books on my own first. **TW**The book (Knock, Knock:May Dad's Dream for Me) was about a boy whose father disappears one day because he was arrested. It was so sad, and I was totally unprepared. It was especially rough because I have a ton of students whose fathers are incarcerated or dead, so it hit home for them. They loved it though.**End TW**

I should say I'm not 100% certain this is true. I had read it's due to changing hormones and some said it's due to estrogen and others progesterone. The progesterone made sense to me because it also causes nausea in TWW and during pregnancy. Does anyone else know?

*TW* So a little update to my rant...I had a coworker's funeral this morning and at the church I sat in front of my former supervisor. Before the service she taps me on the shoulder and says "Congratulations". I haven't seen her since I got married so I assumed she was congratulating me on that so I said thank you. Then she asked when I'm due!!!! I said "wait what?! I thought you meant for getting married. I'm not pregnant". I felt so bad for her because she was super embarassed, but from what she had been told it was confirmed.Apparently the person who asked me in the bathroom the other day started telling people that I was before confirming with me that I am in fact NOT! How fun right? I have no idea how many people this fake news may have gotten around to, but former supervisor said she would correct the false info that is floating around. end*

@lulu1180 @MJDsquared I love that movie, too. We should all do a rewatch. It had a pretty good soundtrack, too!
@kiwi2628 May the power of positive thinking do the trick this cycle.
@ali_gator11 I forget, are you guys doing IUI with ultrasounds or DIY?
@wabash15 So sorry for the CD1.

CS/Q:

I think my issue is (eta: my issue right this minute. Ask me in 5 and I'll prob change my mind) she said no sex or sports til the ultrasound. I've already been 7 weeks without that. Having to go another 4-6 when it could be less is killing me.
@lulu1180 yes to Marshalls for running clothes!! I love them!!
@purplg8r Yeah, I can see how that would be an issue. I understand the no sex with an EP but not with the cyst. I think your Dr is just being waaaaay overly cautious on that front.
