Prudence9 ha! like you said its like riding a bike

Now the estrogen patch on the other hand has left me in some pain, this huge red welt...hoping it'll go down by tomorrow! I was suppose to change it by 9am this am, but I didn't till the afternoon...its as if my time was up on that side and i needed to change sides immediately. I'm hoping they all stick around too!! I think thats why I'm so nervous this round as I know anything can happen at any time!

Hoping I can just get some healthy ones that can make it through! How are you feeling? I popped on your march ivf - busy board, didn't catch you but did find another mature one like myself

less then a week to go...still cramping a lil here and there...hopefully you're feeling different then the last time

@Hopeful_mom are you using the vivelle dot patches? I found that wiping the spot with baby oil after you take it off helps.

In the last few hours i have a feeling that the m/c is about to start! Hope it happens so I could avoid the procedure on Monday!

@Hopeful_mom - Yes, still feel crampy on/ off, tired on/ off, headache on/ off, and boobs hurt on/ off. Nothing constant. I feel like I can smell some things strongly, but not other things, so not sure why. I feel similar to last time, but I was pregnant briefly with the chemical, so I don't know. I might be more crampy...hard to remember, and the progesterone can also cause that. Ahhh I should just test soon.

@Prudence9 I kno it sounds odd but I feel like the hot shower I took aggravated it. Luckily it's healing, thanks for the tip I shall try that ass it's drying out. I can't imagine having to wait for the MC to start. I preferred the procedure as I was in so much pain prior. Hoping yours comes and goes quickly!!

@LoveDontCostAThing I'm super excited for you! Certainly sounds like things are moving in the right direction yay!! We can be overly optimistic why not

@Hopeful_mom yes, I heard that heat helps so last night I used the heat pad that I used after PIO injections and placed it on my stomach. My wait will be over on Monday. That's when I'm going to have the procedure. So few more days.

@LoveDontCostAThing when I was in my TWW I had no symptoms other than symptoms from the progesterone. The only weird thing that happened to me was that the day after the transfer I started remembering my dreams every single night!

@Prudence9 -I remember all my dreams too, and they're really weird! I think progesterone can make you have vivid dreams too...ugh I'm going crazy!

@LoveDontCostAThing i had a sour stomach is the best way i could describe it and my smell was on overdrive right away! The strange "pains" i had i felt most while I was sitting. I was thinking at times this had to be it, I did think there was something going on...but it wasn't constant but it was there here and there. I tried to not over think everything as i do always

but I also did think that it had to be my time and prayed that there was two. I cried at my first US, happy tears of course. Hell i teared up when I got the faintest of lines too. I think back and I'm surprised with twins that it was so faint but can't wait to see one of those again!!

@LoveDontCostAThing yes, progesterone causes dreams. But I was giving myself injections for 5 days before transfer and it only started the day after the transfer... who knows....

AFM: Had my US this morning and I was a bit disappointed. Left is showing 13.5, 9, 7, 5.5, and a 4 (shes being my champion this round) my right had 2 on thursday and now today she just saw one

its maybe at a 7 so we're not sure if its growing or not ugh!!! I'll be adding the cetritide in earlier this cycle starting tomorrow, probably so my 13.5 stays at bay and hopefully the smaller ones can catch up!! Seeing how this cycle is going seems i'm going to have to do another month of this ugh!! Its times like these I wish I could've talked to my younger self to just go freeze eggs!!
Feeling a bit discouraged after todays US. Why couldn't I just still be pregnant with my twins and be done. I think thats the tougher part of having the low amh and being older, you're not making 20 eggs to play with, I have to pray I can get 5, that 13 can screw up the whole thing. Its sometimes better not being knowledgeable so you don't stress and worry as much through the process!

@hopeful_mom -hey, I had one larger than the rest, and my dr. office told me that if needed they can "sacrifice" the larger one in order to get the rest/ let them catch up. Although, I think I ended up being able to keep the large one. Let me look in my notes I kept! Okay, I am going to type a lot lol...I kept notes from each ultrasound on my follicles.

2/22: Baseline- 8<6
2/25: 10, 10, 5<6
2/27: 13.3, 12, 10, a few <6
3/1: 12, 10, 15.3, 17.3, 11.3, 12.7, 11.7, 4<6
3/2: 13.3, 11.3, 11.3, 11.3, 18, 18, 11.7, 14, 12.7, 10, 4<6
3/3: 15.7, 13, 14, 12.7, 16.3, 21, 12.3, 13.3, 15.7, 13.3, 19.7
3/4: 22.3, 12.6, 12.6, 14.3, 13.3, 16, 18.3, 14.6, 16.3, 18, 13.3, 14, a few <10

*Trigged on 3/4, ER on 3/6. They got all 12 mature, and 11 fertilized.

Hope this helps...what I learned is that soooo much can happen between ultrasounds. My follicle sizes were all over the place...the dr. said that, but the smaller ones caught up I guess. I was surprised the tow 12.6s did.

@LoveDontCostAThing thanks for all the info!! You really had a fast cycle! Because of my 13 I feel like my cycle could be just as fast. You really did have some bionic eggs. How many made it to freeze? I'm concerned of the smaller ones disappearing and not growing. Its nice to see its possible, thank u! I"m excited for you to test, I do feel like u r, I can't help it. We might as well be excited right!! There are so many tears and disappointment through this, I say take this week and just enjoy it!!

@hopeful_mom -you're the best at being positive!! If I am not pregnant then I think I will be surprised based on how I feel. I am sitting here on my couch doing nothing. Usually on weekends I am ADD hyper girl, cleaning my house, laundry, walking my dogs, doing a million little tasks. I am just tired for no reason. I did some laundry and the dirty laundry smelled totally off. Normally I can't smell dirty laundry at all.

I guess I did have a fast cycle! They had to trigger me because they were afraid of my LH surge and ovulating. Then, they thought they may need to freeze if my progesterone climbed too high, but it went back down. Bionic eggs...

too funny. They were really all over the board!! I feel like I stated off so low, and then it was like bam, bam, bam. I ended up having 7 blasts, transferred two, and froze 5. The embryologist picked the best blast and suggested doing just the 1 because she considered it high quality and expanding. DH and I said we wanted to do 2. Hell, just put them all in there--octomom...just kidding. So she chose a second one, which she said by that time was just as good as the first one. I think there is a good chance, but I am SO scared to be super positive! You can be my cheerleader! And I will be your follicle cheerleader lol.

The one nice thing, and this is the only one about IF is that you are pregnant are transfer day, and from what your saying I think your lil nuggets are getting cozy, I'm very excited for your beta!!. U can come clean my place if you really like

Glad you're resting! I went for monitoring and then ended up grocery shopping for hours. My brain was all over the place that I kept having to go back to the same isle as I would forget something else i needed from the same isle, best workout I've had all week. Now i'm ready for a nap!!
You do have some bionic eggs!! And it makes sense as DH is more the one with the issues that you needed help. You mightve thought you needed help because of your one ovary but shes a champion!! She produced more then 2 of mine put together. I'm glad you put 2 in, you're young enough so hopefully if you're blessed with 2 your body can handle it. And DH wanting to transfer 2 also shows he wants it just as bad too

@hopeful_mom - I was totally thinking the other day that they should have IM on here lol. I guess I don't really think of it as being pregnant on transfer day because I know that if the embryo has issues or implantation doesn't happen, then it's all over! Sounds like the hormones are taking over your brain

The funny thing is, I didn't even know that I had one ovary for my entire life until they did the hysteroscopy to remove a few polyps and at the same time, since they were already knocking me out, did a laparoscopy to make sure there weren't any other issues. Although since all the ultrasounds and monitoring, they could never find the one ovary...I eventually thought maybe I didn't have one! But never had reason to suspect prior to all of this! Thank god my other ovary took over. I think it had no choice because the dr. said I was born with only one...weird.

And DH drives me nuts with all of this. he's baby bi-polar LOL. he did want to put two in, saying what's the point of one...I guess that is a good thing, but I'm not entirely convinced of what he wants. He just wants me to be pregnant so I can stop bothering him I think, and we can move on with our lives.

@Hopeful_mom try to stay positive! Between my last ultrasound on the day I triggered to retrieval day, few small ones caught up! It's like they felt they are close to the finish line....

So I heard back from the clinic... My MUA is at 10am on Monday... they told me that if I start miscarrying between now and then and have heavy bleeding to go to the ER... I'm glad they told me, I thought I was suppose to just deal with it at home...

Tomorrow I'm going sailing with a coworker, I hope nothing will start happening while we're on the boat.... he, of course, has no idea I'm pregnant... just that I took a sick day on Monday because of a medical procedure....

Thanks @Hopeful_mom! I'm a little afraid of tomorrow. Afraid of the pain, afraid of the possible scarring. Today I picked up a prescription for full bottle of 600mg ibuprofen. I wonder how long they think I'd be in pain?

They havent checked my beta again. I'll probably hear tomorrow what's the plan going forward. But according to my calculations, I will probably not have FET until the end of May... as it takes about 4-6 weeks to get the period and then the medicated FET cycle is pretty long. Around 5 weeks...

@Prudence9 -I totally understand and i'm so sorry, but you will finally be able to start the healing process. I was in TERRIBLE pain prior to the D&C it was first after the procedure that I finally started to have some relief. Hopefully the pain will just last for a couple of days...the bleeding could be for a while. Rest as much as you can, I was exhausted and slept all the time when pregnant and ever since I have such a hard time sleeping...hence being up at 2am. THe meds this round r making me a bit tired so who knows.
I'm having a rough night catching up on some other boards realizing I may not be able to do any transfer till almost the summer and getting too stressed over it. My Due date was suppose to be aug 8, and to think I might not be able to even do a transfer till then will destroy me. What got me through my MC was knowing I could hopefully get pregnant right away...not this. I have monitoring tomorrow so we shall see what will be in store. This just isn't how things were suppose to be.
Try to get some sleep, I was told from many having the procedure is better so they get everything and make it perfect to try again!

@hopeful_mom -I was waiting for you to see my test!!! You just made me feel better about the "faint lines." I am soooo paranoid from the chemical. I have no idea how "dark" they are supposed to be. I love Will & Grace, but I don't know the "I told you so" dance! I am so glad you "told me so!" Keep telling me so! You're right, I won't believe it until I see beta numbers and doubling...I've never had that yet. OH is good...he was the one who said, "Just take the test today!" I was sooooo scared to look and he said, "Let's go as a team." lol...he gives me a headache with his emotions...that's an Aries for you

Okay, here is the test from this morning...so less than a day later...tell me what you think.

@hopeful_mom - I forgot to answer you other question. Yes, I did test with the cp on the day before the beta, so I guess that would be today. The line was there, but faint. Then, the next day it was even less

@LoveDontCostAThing dont freak out over the lines too much!! WHY u ask because a girl I became preggers with at the same time POAS after all 3 betas and BARELY had a line. And I blame myself because I told her how great it was to finally see a faint line. How many times do we go cross eyed waiting to see that other line. Here she goes and buys the test and it still didnt happen so the freak out she had was BAD!! Dr google explained that for some once your HCG levels get too high the tests no longer reads it...dont ask me why. Also remember not all tests are the same. I think after my 1st US i tested again with a digital...u just can't help yourself.

@hopeful_mom your numbers are great! So excited for you!

i had the procedure. They give you so much meds prior, like Valium and other things to sedate you. It was very painful at times. But manageable. It did seems longer than just 15 minutes.

I got home home and still had pains but was suppose to wait for another 3.5 hours. Before taking the next pain med. so I just crushed for few hours. Even now after eating something I can barely walk straight.

They told old me to shcedule beta in 2-3 weeks.

We are also sending back the embryo's tissues to the lab that said it was PGS normal embryo. So let's see if they made a mistake or not. In a way, I'm thinking it's probably something to do with me maybe thyroids. Not sure.

@prudence9 I think that's all mine tests for as well. they have me on meds for thyroid as well. I think the last time they tested it was at 4.4.
