I'm due on 5/26 and I am really hoping this kid comes out before June...partially because I much prefer May's birthstone and I really want some kind of jewelry with both boys' birthstones. (I'm not really a "jewelry person" but I really like that idea.)

I have an obsession with the seasonal marshmallows, specifically the bunny ones. One year H bought me like 12 bags off amazon because I loved them so much. I often eat a whole bag in a few days. This year they have these new flower ones and I ate the whole bag I bought on Tuesday already.
DH and I went out to celebrate a work thing for him last night so we went out for Mexican food. Before we left the restaurant I had ordered crab rangoons from the Chinese place down the road and then on the way home we stopped at DQ. It was all delicious and I regret nothing.
I've had 3 green tea lattes with soy milk from Starbucks, 2 of their blueberry muffins, 2 chocolate muffins from work, and ice cream almost every night this week...I'm thinking I'm craving sweets right now....that or I've just been celebrating all week for passing my 3 hr GTT test. NO shame.
ETA: forgot I had a reese's peanut butter egg too and I really want more...why are they so much better than regular reese's cups?!?!

I'm the opposite! I'm due a day after you and I want to go as long as possible to have more of the "summer" off for my maternity. It would be great to not have to go back until after Labor Day
@Jens_Hoes I'm with you! I'm hoping for time off in warmer weather for longer (I'm due 5/29). Im hoping to get close to Labor Day also! And to clarify I mean Labor Day for maternity leave...not this pregnancy!
I'm down to one overnight diaper left and some pull ups. I decided to not go to the store to stock up because I'm expecting a huge box today from Jet. I'm going to flip if it doesn't come by dinner time!
I started thinking baby would come early (just some feelings), but now that that family is visiting late June I'm hoping baby is perfectly on time/ a teensy bit late so I'm not back to work already. Although, if I take 8 weeks it shouldn't be an issue and that's what I'm REALLY hoping for.
@jens_hoes I'm with you. My EDD is 5/29 and my birthday is 8/18. If I go early, I'll have to go back to work before my birthday. I'm secretly hoping to make it to my due date... although ask me about 5/15 and I'll deny I ever said that.
I'm not so secretly hoping that husband loses his basketball pool/bracket thingy early so I don't have to hear about basketball anymore. Last year he was knocked out the first round. After he loses he doesn't care about the games anymore and life around here can go back to normal.

This. I was just thinking this morning how amazing an emerald push present would be!! I am off until October so I'd love for an arrival sometime between 5/20 and 5/27 - are you listening baby?!
My FFC: I actually adore the idea of push presents. H would celebrate the arrival of our son with a gift to me anyway because he is well trained, but I would not have taken issue with being all don't forget the present H if he wasn't planning on it.
I was cleaning up today while MH played video games (*eye roll*) and he decided to help. I think, "awesome!" Well then he gets involved in all this crap that he wants my help with, while I was happy just doing my little normal cleaning routine. I totally pulled the "Oh man, I am over doing it. I'm having tons of BH. I better sit down and drink some water." I totally had one BH contraction, but I just wasn't interested in being involved in HIS project. He can do it himself
Can you tell things are so peachy at the ShadeofGreen house today??

Reese's eggs are life. Sooo much better! It's embarrassing how many I usually consume around Easter.
I was doing skin to skin with Lucia while she was feeding when all of a sudden she pooped. It was so loud and stinky. I held her for another 30 minutes after feeding instead of changing her diaper right away because we were too comfortable.
@Squirtgun , those are awesome! I'm kind of in love with that idea, actually.
Reese's eggs are life. Also, anything sweet...I just texted DH that I need a green milkshake tonight since he's drinking a green beer.
And my FFFC related to when we hope we give birth...Possibly because I've been trying to pump myself full of optimism with this 36 week induction, I'm secretly thrilled that I will miss out on the last 4 weeks of a 40 week pregnancy. I'm already super uncomfortable and ready for this whole pregnancy thing to be over.
@Squirtgun that's awesome! I follow @darrylljones on Instagram and he does the same thing with Storm Trooper figurines
ETA: my FFFC - I hope DH ends up working late today because I have a bunch of cooking to do and instead of working on that I've been internetting (is that a word?) since I woke up.
MIL bought DD a Coldstone gift card. I used it to buy "us" ice cream today even though DD said she didn't want some. I really just bought it for me, but I'll save some for her after nap.

I just spilled my lunch on myself not once, not twice, not even three, but FOUR times! I never, ever spill on myself either. WTH. In my defense, it was ribs (which splattered), baked beans, and mac n cheese.
I also bought Drumsticks (Because the store was out of Haagen Dazs) and put it in my work freezer so I can have some enjoyment at that place.
Because I've felt like such a lurker lately, I'm lying in bed with DS and letting him watch 2 episodes of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood while munching on crackers before naptime so I can be comfortable and catch up on the boards before I leave for work.
FFC: I turned the volume down on the office phone just now, because I'm tired of members/ non members calling us here directly when they are supposed to contact the call center!
ETA: Its actually the teller line phone #, we had a newbie who started giving them the number to teller phone instead of the call center #. & since most of our members know each other they spread the # amongst themselves and its so annoying when it rings all day.
@WombThereItIs , I convinced DH last night that it's totally acceptable for me to buy an overpriced blanket for the baby on Etsy to compensate for the fact that I never got around to knitting her one like I did DS...nesting. It's a real thing.
@WombThereItIs , that's awesome that you can scoot those little things by him! I used to be able to make purchases without justifying them because DH only checked finances monthly when budgeting and wouldn't say anything unless something looked super out of whack...until he signed up for Apple Pay. And he now gets a notification anytime on his phone anytime our credit card is used. It's so annoying. He's never upset with my spending, but I always feel like I have to justify it...like today at lunch "Oh, BTW, I'm at TJ Maxx buying myself some new sweatpants because you're probably sick of seeing me every night in the only pair that still fits and it's about time I wash them...it's only been 2 solid weeks of wear".
@WombThereItIs You'll have to post a picture of the knobs! I've been ordering way too many things off Etsy for baby, and DH has no idea because he's in the field and can't access the Internet or see all the packages arriving at the door. Nesting is real!

@hp_momma I'm currently messaging about color choices now. This was the picture that got me thinking about changing hardware and this is the dresser I have.
Amen to nesting being real. H doesn't understand why I want to finish buying everything right now. He's like we have time. No, no my brain does not think we do. We need it now.
@WombThereItIs Ahhh Pottery Barn gets me every time! The new Margherita Missoni line is adorable and if I didn't already just redecorate my girls room I'd be re-doing theirs as well!
Can't wait to see the knobs you pick out, I think new ones for that dresser are totally justified!

I'm with you all on the nesting. I'm actively fighting the urge to redecorate most areas of the house, including those that have nothing to do with baby. "I'm not feeling the color of the kitchen, I think we need to repaint the entire thing. Today." It makes no sense, but the weirdest things about the house are driving me crazy!
Oh I'm nesting hardcore now that I have a dresser and closet that can have things in it. I spent over $100 today on Amazon on almost nothing exciting - drawer organizers, ledges for a book wall etc. But I can't wait until they get here! I wanna put away all these tiny clothes!

@Squirtgun that is actually pretty cool!

Im buying most of the baby stuff with my own money so I figure what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
