@emgem819 I am so hungry reading this! I have never had caprese with garlic but now I feel like I need some asap!

Our youth group had a bake sale/auction at church today. We bought a pie to support them (for camp), but then we won another pie. DH wants to take them to work lol, I told him he could take one. The one I'm obsessed with is a cinnamon buttermilk pie. It doesn't sound good, but it is AH-MAZ-ING!
Breakfast sandwhiches that I don't have to cook. DD turkey sausage flatbread, Wawa turkey sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, etc. yum.
I did did manage to eat a salad and soup from Panera last night but I'm beginning to think my app is lying when it said, you'll soon start to feel slightly better as baby starts to use some of its own hormones giving yours a break.
Sometimes food is so good in pregnancy that I want to cry. I just ate a handful of Butterfinger Easter eggs.
Like many have said, I really only want unhealthy things, and I am not giving myself too hard a time about it. Italian food has been amazing lately, especially garlic bread. In fact, I just took a break typing this to look at an Italian restaurant take out menu, so...
I'm only eating fruit and vegetables which concerns me because I can't keep anything else down. Should I be concerned because of diabetes (I don't have) due to so much fruit?
@Eve87 I think most doctors will tell you to just eat what you can keep down for the first trimester. My doctor told me she didn't care if all I could eat was pizza, I needed to keep my calories to where I was at least maintaining my weight (I've been losing slightly). I don't think you're any more at risk for diabetes than you would be with anything else. I failed my first glucose test last pregnancy and I had eaten super healthy up until that point (#tbt to a pregnancy where I only puked once every day).
The important thing is making sure you and baby are getting nutrients. Fruits and vegetables are amazing for you both, so stuff as many in as you can

Everything sounds good, but as soon as I try to eat it, it's a no go after 2-3 bites. I haven't had MS, and until this last week, 11 as of today, I've been able to eat anything. Was doing great so far with staying on the healthy track. But now, all I want is cereal or peanut butter. I'm so hungry all the time my stomach is just queasy. I'm going to try teas folks recommend.
For smoothies - cut your fruits ahead of time & freeze. Then it is simply throw in blender, add liquid & blend. It's super fast.
We don't buy processed cereals so for breakfast I normally have scrambled eggs, and avocado, sautéed spinach and Greek yogurt. I've been totally craving citrus lately so I've been eating a ton of grapefruit and oranges. And I'm loving toasted tomato sandwiches, want to day at least! I had all the exact same cravings with my last pregnancy.
I had oatmeal for breakfast, which was a nice choice. But then I followed it with 2 toaster strudels lol. Pizza lunchable, cheddar and sour cream chips and a coke for lunch. No shame.
@Knottie1447173547 mmmm tomato sandwiches! I'm a Jersey girl ( living in Maryland) and I could go for some good Jersey tomatoes, mayo, on toasted bread. Yumm.
I have eaten a waffle and 1 slice of bacon for breakfast with lemon ginger tea, 1 bite of. Y kids Mac n cheese and a few grapes for lunch, and forced myself to atleast eat some mixed veggies and pork chop for dinner. I want to eat normal again!
I have no appetite. Nothing sounds good. However, I can stomach salty foods...like French fries. And pizza Hut pizza. (I never ate that before this). Glad we're all in this together!
Getting fish n chips and cookie pie tonight. French fries dipped in a vanilla shake sounds amazing though

@Knottie1447173547 (that was tough to tag) I am in awe of your healthy eating habits. Props to you
Thanks! I pretty much eat that all the time with some occasional snacks on the side so not a change for pregnancy really. I struggle more with the excersise side of things!
Omg. That was so me with my first pregnancy. I ate so much ramen and noodle cups. It was all I could force myself to eat for weeks! Do what you have to do!
