@mj8215 I'm still not feeling regular kicks. Some days I feel nearly nothing and others she's moving all day. But my midwife said 28 weeks is when kick counting could begin and movement should be regular at that point and that it's totally normal to fluctuate now.

@mj8215 I've been feeling them daily for the past few weeks but PPs are right that kick counts don't start until 28 weeks so you shouldn't be too concerned if they're kind of sporadic until you get closer to then

I'm 22w3d and my girl is pretty regular. She moves the most anywhere from 1-2pm and then again from 9-11pm. Every day without fail. I can always feel her actually starting to move before I get any kicks. She dances up a storm at the late night ones. She's not waking me up in the middle of the night or anything though. Yet. Haha! DH can finally feel her and today I was actually able to see her kicks from the outside.
I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow and baby's movement is still very sporadic. He moves around mostly at night, especially when I lay down in bed. I can also feel him in the early morning, which is consistent with what a lot of you are feeling. I'm excited for the more defined kicks that can be felt from the outside! I'm probably a few weeks away from that though.
Thanks for all the responses, ladies!! It's one thing to know it theoretically, but certainly helps to get a sense of what's in the normal range of our group, so thank you all for sharing! Before I finally felt movements this week, I was starting to have some serious FOMO while following this thread lol. Feeling him kick really is the best feeling! Husband felt it too! We were both laughing and crying.
I think I'm officially feeling movement, and now that's I think about it iv been feeling them for two weeks now. I get confused because I'm usually hungry and confuse with tummy rumbling. It feels like something turned around inside, a pop, and bubbles, right?
I'm a 3rd time mom, and this time didn't feel any movement till 18ish weeks which is about a week and a half later than my previous pregnancies. I'm 19w3d now and have finally been feeling daily movement, yet I wouldn't say it's consistent enough to start kick counts (especially if we're talking about counting hourly movements and such), just that I can consistently feel movement every day for the past 4 days.

This is me, too. I'm 21w today, STM, and I'm finally feeling her move daily. It's still a lot of rolling around, but there are a few kicks in there, too. My hubby won't say it, but I know he's dying to feel it all on the outside.
So I'm 22w5d today and DH was able to feel him from the outside last Sunday (21w5d) but not so much since. I have felt movement regularly since 17w. I'm a STM but my first had a anterior placenta so I didn't feel her for the first time until 23 weeks. I am pretty sure he is facing my spine most of the time except last Sunday when he kicked DHs freezing cold hands on my tummy. But he is most active right after I workout (usually not active when in working out especially swimming) and late afternoon and night and during the night. Not waking me up but if I'm awake I can feel him
I would say I've noticed a rough schedule with movements for at least 3 weeks or so? 23 weeks now. He seems to wake up when I do at 545, then at 5pm, and around 8 or 9pm.
This morning before I got up I saw my belly pulsing! He often hangs out on my right, but the bulge was on the left today. I looked it up because it seemed so strange and I guess it was either practice breathing or hiccups! So cute!
Highly monitored internet and no cell service in the office, so I'm postin' and ghostin' while I'm workin'

I finally saw the bulge to one side thing this morning! I was driving and at the light I looked down and my right side was way more pushed out than the left. I thought I might have been sitting funny so I adjusted, but it didn't go away. Very cool!
@mj8215 I'm late to answer, but I felt movement only maybe once a week starting at 16 weeks and I had to be super concentrated on it. Last Monday to this past Saturday I felt movement every single day and frequently, but yesterday and so far this morning have been quiet. The baby is definitely more active at night and first thing in the morning, so I would say far from regular though. I pulled out my doppler again because it made me nervous to feel the movements so often and then they just stopped, but all was well and the heartbeat was suuuper strong! Can't wait to feel them on the outside!
Movements are getting constant and regular at 21 weeks. Started to feel them from the outside at 19 weeks. I forgot that this is my favorite part of pregnancy.

I'm 22+3 and have been feeling regular movement whenever I sit down for a few weeks. This weekend was the first time I could feel it from the outside. I even saw a few pokes on the outside. My placenta is in the back, so there's not much cushion between baby and the outside world, and he's definitely letting us know he's there.
Im 22w5d and I've been feeling regular movement for probably almost 3 weeks now. He's active from around 1-2pm (like someone else mentioned above, which is really funny!) and in the evening before bed. His schedule seems to change on the weekends. He's active when I wake up if I sleep in, and I don't feel him as much in the afternoon because I'm usually out and about (instead of sitting at my desk). His evening movement is consistent though!
I'm 22 weeks today and not feeling baby as much. I felt consistently starting around 18 weeks. My husband felt it a couple weeks ago for the first time. But the last couple days I haven't felt baby move as much, so I'm guessing baby turned. It was pretty consistent at night and a lot - I was thinking I had a super baby by how much movement I had been feeling. Now I just feel it here and there, which worries the crazy part of me, but the same part of me knows it's normal.
@ginger1228 I had the same problem the other week. Baby B turned and so I was not attuned to where she would be kicking and didn't feel anything for a few days. After my scan and learning their positions I feel like I can feel it all the time. Fear not! It's definitely normal.
@ginger1228 the same thing happened to me last week. Either he turned or he was positioned just right against the placenta (mine is anterior) that I barely felt anything for almost 2 days. I was starting to worry, but then he started back up with the kicks again, so he must have moved back to where I could feel him! Once they get bigger, I think it'll be easier to feel every movement. For now we're kinda left wondering because they still have a good amount of room to move and change positions!
@irishrose54@kat0607 - thanks for the reassurance! I felt baby a couple times today and one of my friends was able to feel it too, so that helped me feel better. Pregnancy is just nerve racking.

Craziest feeling ever just now. I'm pretty sure the baby just had hiccups! Anyone else felt this? It was about 10 rhythmic jumps in a row and I was just sitting there like...
I haven't felt the hiccups yet, but my husband finally felt the baby move last night!! It was only one quick kick/punch, but I'm still smiling this morning.
@maybeitsmadeline - this baby gets the hiccups almost daily. At first it was cute, but now I'm finding if it's at night (like when I'm trying to sleep) it's annoying! Hoping this kid doesn't hiccup itself awake every night when it's here!
@maybeitsmadeline hiccups were some of my first movements with DS! They became regular, and he's still a hiccupper.
23+2 today and the movements are a really weird feeling. They make me feel kind of nauseous (nauseated, blahblah), like motion sickness or something. Really hard to describe. I don't love that feeling, though it's fun to feel the kicks. I don't remember this last time, but could just be forgetting. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
@virginiaunicorn11 - I know exactly what you're talking about! I haven't felt those kind of mvoements in about a week (I'm 22+1 and now just mainly feel kicks) but it felt like the baby was rolling almost like a big bunch of gas. But it was definitely a baby and not gas. Made me feel like my belly was upset.
Ok so my belly is looking like an alien invasion. I can SEE the kicks happen. I am running out of room for these two haha. I hope my skin can take the next 18 weeks and stretch enough...
@irishrose54, I'm actually kind of jealous. I barely feel them at all, though the doctor assures me everything is ok in there!

DH finally felt movement tonight! I was starting to think I was crazy because he would have his hands on my stomach for strong kicks and wouldn't feel anything. Guess tonight was our lucky night.
(23+5) My DH has been able to feel the baby a few times now, he likes to poke back.
Earlier I spent about half an hour watching the baby kick and it physically moving my belly, mostly just twitching. Such a strange sensation. Also, I could see/feel some part of baby bumping out from time to time and then it would move and that area would be squishy again. What the heck is going on in there? I don't know if there have been hiccups, but I guess I should pay more attention to the constant bumps instead of the obvious kicks/punches to see if I can tell the difference lol.

Oh man this makes so much sense now! I'm a FTM at 20+4 and I didn't think I had been feeling much other than MAYBE flutters (also have anterior placenta), but this very strange gas but not any gas I've felt before feeling definitely fits this description! Maybe the kid is in there doing barrel rolls.
Pretty sure I accidentally scared my baby girl tonight. I was trying to take a picture of my cat and dog being adorable and momentarily let the phone rest on my belly flash-side down and I felt her completely flip out. I couldnt tell which end was which but I know both arms and legs were flailing. It was the strangest feeling and an action I don't plan to repeat.
They are not kidding about babies being able to see light in the womb...

I've done that on purpose a few times before, but then mine doesn't flail as much as it sounds like yours did. It helped a lot in having DH be able to feel movements from the outside, actually.
