I had an appt this morning. I'm st weekly appts a bit early due to going to L&D last week Thursday for BH every 10-11 min while I was at rest for 2 hrs.
appt went well, dr wanted to start NSTs. Looks like I'll be getting them weekly now before each appt.
Had a BPP done today - baby girl looked good and had lots of fluid. She was pretty chill and I could tell the ultrasound tech wasn't a fan. The little nugget would move every now and then but she wasn't super duper active. They wanted to send me to do another NST until my OB overheard and basically told them that was a waste of time. The NST I did on Monday I passed with flying colors and baby was obviously moving around. So glad she stepped in! Here's to another week of avoiding L&D. Ultrasound said baby was 5lbs 11 oz - but has around an lb error rate possibility. She's still measuring on the large side but nothing too concerning just yet.
Impromptu appt today! Barely slept last night with bad chest pains/heartburn and just overall discomfort and pain. I decided to work from home today. I'm assuming my top twin is pressing up against my diaphragm but since a lot of twin pregnancies start to complete around 35 weeks, I really want to be sure there's nothing else. He's been high the whole time and I even had an appt yesterday and no issues. We shall see if this is just something I have to endure for the next couple weeks
Well, this turned into an overnight at the hospital.. when I got there my BP was abnormally high. They wanted me to go for some blood tests in L&D and test me for pre-e. Get there and there's a hospital gown... I'm like "for bloodwork?" Well, you may be here for a while. They outfitted me with an IV, drew some blood, checked my vitals, BP still high but not as bad... doc came in and said blood looked good but based on the initial high BP, they wanted me to stay overnight. She hinted that the twins might not be here in 24 hours, but maybe 48 (luckily not the case!) They gave me steroids that help maturate their lungs and I had to do 24 hour urine test (inputs/outputs) to test the proteins in it (more for pre-e.) More bloodwork the next day, another set of steroids that night and I was released that evening. I was put on "bed rest" until the boys arrive hoping to buy some time. Everything has gotten better except my weight gain - almost 10 lbs in one week. Bananas! Had an NST yesterday and my BP was higher but not alarming. Doc did introduce me to this weekend's on-call doctor in case the boys do make an arrival. He's hoping we make it 2 more weeks but thinks it will be more like one.
This pregnancy has been off the charts amazing... leave it til the last weeks for it to get real interesting!

Regular midwife appointment today. I'm going to ask for info on encapsulation and possibly bring my birth plan. GBS test would have been today but last time we decided to delay since I'd just started my probiotics regimen 2 weeks ago. I may wear a skirt just in case (that's right, I don't have to undress...it's much more comfortable. A skirt isn't a requirement but I find it easier). My GBS swab will be the first and probably last below the waist visit until I deliver. I'll be bringing DS as usual, and he'll probably whine for a sucker the whole time since he got one last time and loved the heck out of it. I can't believe I'm 35 weeks! No idea if my appointments will be weekly now or one more biweekly one.
@lovelongdog06 yes! Skirts are awesome. I ended up wearing one to my first two ultrasounds and it was perfect because they ended up needing to use the vaginal wand and all I had to do was slide off my panties and toss them to my unsuspecting husband.
Had my first weekly appt this morning. Started with my having major anxiety and causing myself to have high blood pressure 144/80. They did the GBS swab and the rest of the appointment then checked my BP again at the end and it was 126/72. I then started crying again from anxiety because I can't seem to control it. They're going to be checking my BP at the end of my appts from now on since I apparently can't control my nerves in the beginning. They want me to start my postpartum action plan early now. Which is frustrating because I was hoping I wouldn't actually need it but I guess I'm lucky it's already there to hopefully make things easier later on.
Had my bi-weekly appt this morning @33+1. No wt gain, everything is good except the baby is measuring several weeks ahead again. Midwife is sending me for an u/s on Tuesday just to check baby and fluid levels out.

Nothing interesting for me this week. I'm going to the chiropractor weekly to prep for labor, but other than that, it's a quiet week.
