How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Mentally, I am pretty good... the further I get the better I feel. Physically, I'm just a mess. My symptoms are all over the place. I'll think the nausea is going away, and then I'm up in the middle of the night vomiting. I've been getting headaches pretty much every day... usually first thing in the morning, then it fades away and comes back in the afternoon. (Typing that out, I just realized, that's exactly what my morning sickness did when it was at its worst. Weird)
When is your next appointment? March 13 with my OB. I do have an US scheduled for Friday, at a little US boutique... just for fun/peace of mind.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so stinking excited it's March!!
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I'm one of those annoying people who says "I like all kinds of music", lol. But.. it's true! When we first met, DH tried to call me on it, and a look through my music on my phone shut him up, lol. I do tend to always head back to Class Rock, though... so I guess it's my "favorite". I don't have a favorite band, or artist... but "Simple Man" by Lynard Skynard and "Let it Be" by The Beatles are two of my favorite songs. When my anxiety was really bad, and I was having panic attacks a lot, Let it Be would generally calm me down a little.
So, I was watching Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time, and when the character's name was said to be Holly Golightly, I was like, wait, I know that name from somewhere...have I seen this movie before? no.....OMG @hollygolightly09 from the BMB! haha
How far along are you? 10+3
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) pretty good. Definitely good physically. Food aversions are minimal now, I had what I call the "48 hours of bad morning sickness" but other than those 48 hours, I've just been nauseated off and on but not consistently. I've had a pretty easy pregnancy so far. Now that it's March, I'm just anxious for the next two and half weeks to go by quickly. I can't wait to be in second tri and past my March 16 first EDD. Uhm, we also found a great deal on a used stroller and had a rental car until today, so we went out at like, 9pm last night to check it out and ended up buying it! :O I was also working on announcement drafts today....I'm just hoping I'm not jinxing things!
When is your next appointment? first appointment with the midwife on Friday this week. As far as I know it's just a bunch of health questions, but I don't think I get an US or a doppler or anything I'll ask, but I don't think they'll do it.
Rant/Rave/Questions? nope
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? whatever DH is playing. I like the Newsboys and Steven Curtis Chapan and a bunch of others who I probably don't even know who they are I just like their music when DH plays it lol.

How far along are you? 12w2d How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Well I was doing fine until this morning. Dr's office called this morning at 7:30. I've tested positive as a carrier for cystic fibrosis. So now we have to wait two weeks for DH's blood results to come back. I'm really trying to give this the normal statistics amount of concern, instead of normal Jena/Hulk sized worry. When is your next appointment? NT scan on Friday. Rant/Rave/Questions? Well I got a whole 3.5 days of being worry free during this pregnancy. Now I'm back to fear.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I am also one of those people who really likes just about everything, but I lean more heavily to the alternative rock side. Fav band of all time would likely be Bad Religion. Though I'm on a big Post-Modern Jukebox kick.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Physically doing quite well...Mentally i'm a hot mess due to my NT scan yesterday.
When is your next appointment? Not sure...it hasn't been scheduled. Right now it's a waiting game and the results of my Panorama will be back within the week...depending on the results we will either set another scan or go for an amnio.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm all over the place emotionally and there's absolutely NOTHING I can do about it. I'm kind of pissed that 1) the radiologist told me I had an elevated nuchal fold measurement, said "I'm sorry" but then went on to say she's seen both perfectly healthy babies and just the opposite. Like WTAF. I'm pissed I didn't get a pic from my ultrasound yesterday. I'm pissed there are no notes in my patient portal. I'm stressed about the outcome of my tests. I'm stressed about the fact that hubby and I might not be on the same page about what to do should something be terribly awry. I'm angry that I tried so long to get pregnant, that it's my last shot, only to have a bad scan that now has me freaked out. I'm sad that I can't ever seem to get to enjoy pregnancy.
Flip side...I'm happy baby is still kicking in there and has a heart beat. Go baby go! Also, my dd is so dang smart and adorable...yesterday I picked her up from school and she kept raving about an Easter Party. I was at a loss and looked at her teachers...they said that she said she's having an Easter Party and that the whole class is invited. LOL I told them I got her an Easter dress but told her she couldn't wear it until Easter so my DD then turned to the class and said, "Mommy got me an Easter dress so I can have a party!" OMG...I can't with the cuteness.
Question...anyone have an elevated Nuchal measurement before? Has anyone had "swelling of the skin" or edema? Has anyone had whacky results only to come back with a healthy baby?
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? Right now it's pretty much nothing but Disney tunes all day every day...such is life with a 2.5yo. lol I'm quite sick of Monkey's Jumping on the Bed and Daddy Finger Daddy Finger (creepy song lol). Normally though...I like a mix of stuff. If I can sing to it...i'll listen to it!
@Texafornian I don't have experience with that but I am praying so hard that everything comes back as clean as a whistle for you and your baby!
@jena333 also praying your husbands CF test is negative!
My copy paste is not wanting to work right now grrr
13+1 today
Mentally doing pretty well since my verifi test came back and everything was negative and we are Having a girl!! Eeeek! But also feeling a little back to normal since I'm entering the second tri and I have wished for these days! But now I am freaked because I don't feel pregnant anymore.....
I'm just going to rave one more time that I'm having a girl!!! I am so excited and also terrified! Like I have to figure out a whole new way to wipe a baby butt? With boys it's just get the poop off however you can but with girls the whole front to back situation has my mind alll messed up!
my favorite band is needtobreathe and I listen to country and Christian and sometimes when my husband has it on pop
@Texafornian I'm so sorry to hear about your scan and the stress attached to it. Fingers crossed for healthy results @jena333 I hope good test results come back for you as well!
How far along are you? 11+6
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Physically I feel like crap. I feel run down and tired but no nausea so I guess I shouldn't complain. Mentally I'm on the fence. EDD for my loss is tomorrow. I went on the March 17 board and realized I should be in the hospital right around now and that's making me sad. But at least I have this baby to be hopeful about! If I were facing this day and not pregnant it would be a lot harder
When is your next appointment? IPS ultrasound on Friday. Nervous because last time that's how we found out about our MMC. I'm supposed to go to a concert that night but keep wondering if I should have scheduled the US for next week so I'll still want to go in case we get bad news. How messed up is that? I miss being perpetually optimistic like I was for DS' pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Waiting sucks. DH didn't want to tell anyone about this pregnancy until we knew everything was good so we literally haven't told anybody. I was disappointed that he felt that way since if something happens I'll need support. If all goes well Friday I'm making the rounds on Saturday to tell family.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I hate country. Favourites are any kind of rock and alternative. Other genres I like some of. I would have loved being 10 years older in the 90s so I could have really appreciated all the good bands out then!

I will take all the prayers. The tiny amount of Googling I allowed myself to do, 1 in 29 white Americans are carriers, and if we are both carriers, we have a 1 in 4 chance of CF. Then I promptly stepped away from the Google, because it will not help me.
@MyNamesTaken While I can totally understand why your husband wants to wait, the lack of support is so hard. We waited until 8 weeks (our first US) to tell close family, because I/we wanted that support if something happened again. Even the support DURING this waiting period would be worth it. That's been my mindset with slowly telling other people in our lives (though not going social media public with it yet), YES it will suck to have to tell everyone if something happens, but having the care and support of people I see every day has been wonderful.
@Texafornian so sorry you are having to go through all this worry and stress. Doesn't sound like it was handled very well at your appointment, and I'm sorry you didn't get a picture. That sucks. I'll be thinking of you and fingers crossed for good news and a 100% healthy baby.
@jena333 sorry about the stressful genetic test results. You are right to focus on the fact that statistics are very much on your side, but of course it's still scary! FX for good news (and very soon).
@BigBadWolf12 Some of the things I am looking forward to most about a september baby are Halloween and Christmas baby outfits!!!
How far along are you? Due date got moved! 12+2. Now due 9/11, which the OBGYN announced by saying "Well, it's a bad day, but you probably won't deliver on it." Hah, thanks.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Mentally I feel good. Had an appointment with a new doctor (I'm switching practices and hospitals) on Monday and baby was having a little Jazzercise kicking session in there on the ultrasound. So grateful for everything healthy and good so far. Still waiting on NIPT results and have my NT scan this afternoon, so hoping hard for good results from both.
Physically... I got cocky re nausea thinking I might be getting far enough along that I didn't take my Unisom/B6 two nights ago. Spent all day at work yesterday feeling on the edge of puking, had to leave early during a super busy day (pissing off my boss), nearly puked on the train, and did in fact puke at home. First time this pregnancy. Yay? Back on the drugs for me!
When is your next appointment? NT scan this afternoon! Pending those results, nothing afterwards for four weeks.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Still need to announce to my husband's family! A bunch of our friends are finding out so the pressure is on, but it's not always easy to get his whole family together.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? Hah, recently I listen mostly to top 40. Some indie stuff, and some 60s/70s Jimi Hendrix/Dylan/Rolling Stones. I grew up in the PNW listening to punk and grunge, and I still love a little throwback riot grrl.
@jena333 Focus on the combined odds: between the carrier risk and 1/4 risk of trasmitting the gene from both of you, your overall odds of having a baby with CF are less than 1%.
FWIW, (and I'm still counting on good news for you), my cousins have two children with CF who are wonderful, beautiful kids leading full lives (one is off at college and one is in middle school). Medical treatments for CF have made a huge amount of progress and will only continue to do so.
@jena333 FX your husband is negative!! When will you find out?
@Texafornian So sorry this has become such a stressful mess for you! I would be upset about not getting US pictures, too! I don't have any experience myself, but I have heard so many stories about people being completely freaked out after an NT scan (and even after blood work) and then having perfectly healthy babies. I'm with you on the music... I need it to be something I can sing along with.
@MyNamesTaken (hugs) I hope the next few days go by quickly for you, maybe you'll feel better once you get past that EDD. I can't imagine how hard it is not telling anyone... I told my immediate family and close friends almost immediately, knowing if something were to go wrong I would want them to know anyway.
@BigBadWolf lol, that's one of my favorite movies! I had a dog named Holly Golightly, but she passed away a few months ago. Those Halloween costumes are super cute! I can't wait to dress an itty bitty baby up this year.
@jena333 FX that your hub's test shows no markers. A good friend of mine has a daughter with CF and she's the spunkiest, most thriving little 2.5yo I've ever seen...I know it's an awful diagnosis but they've come a long way with treatment so there is that silver lining. Hugs though...I know how stressful the wait is...
@lap018 I feel the same way should I have a boy! I'm used to the girlie parts now so learning the ways of the penis seems hilarious. You'll be GREAT...congrats!
@MyNamesTaken so many hugs for tomorrow. I know that feeling...my edd was back in November and it really tugged at my heartstrings. Just focus on the fact that you are pregnant NOW and you'll always carry that little soul with you. Always.
@hollygolightly09 I'm sorry to hear about your dog I'm excited for baby costumes too! I was excited for bump costumes whenever we were TTC that would result in a bump (or announcement) around hallowe'en, but an itty bitty baby is even better than a bump!

@Texafornian - I just haven't known what to say, I can just empathize with the worry. I'm so glad for this group of women. FWIW (I know, not much), but I have a good feeling for you. I have since you posted the other day, I just wasn't sure if it was appropriate to say. It may still not be, so if I have offended you, I'm sorry. But I just have a good feeling for you, that it will be fine.
zetega you know how older people always seem like they had that ONE dog in their life that was the best dog? I've had mine, I think. His name was Obie, he was a golden retreiver/chow mix that I bought at a yardsale for $20. He was born on September 11th, 2001, and lived to a ripe age. So good things happen on the day as well
And thank you for sharing the info about your cousin's kids, that makes me feel so much better!
HollyGolightly09 My results took two weeks to get back, so I'm thinking approximately the same for his.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) I thought my symptoms were fading and then I ate lentil soup for lunch yesterday and my stomach turned into the size of Texas. Mentally doing well despite EDD of loss being this coming weekend.
When is your next appointment? 12 week check-in & doppler is 3/8. NT ultrasound is on 3/15.
Rant/Rave/Questions? What happens if I don't get enough water? I'm pretty sure I'm not hitting my quota each day. I'm trying but it's hard!
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song?DH music shames me all the time. I like a little of almost everything, including pop, which he hates. I absolutely hate 'jam' music.... like the grateful dead (which DH loves). My favorite Pandora station is 'Donovan radio'. My favorite song is "blackbird" by the Beatles. I have no idea why. But everytime I hear it, it makes me happy.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) physically I'm doing great...still get a little tired late in the afternoon but otherwise I feel good
mentally I have moments of good and moments of extreme anxiety
When is your next appointment? Tomorrow I meet with my primary OB for the first time...prior to this I was being monitored by my RE..... I'm going to miss all the extra ultrasounds I got with my RE
We finally bought our first real baby item! I've been too scared to buy baby things yet....so I made the leap and bought a set of onsies...it's a small but significant step for me
@MyNameWasTaken when to tell people is so hard...I told my family right away, but they knew about the IF issues we were having...DH waited until after our NT scan to tell his family...and he also pushed for us to announce on social media, which I caved in and did....now that's a whole other set of worry I have

How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Mentally, I'm "ok", but my emotions have been getting to me (THANKS HORMONES), not really crying tho, more getting aggravated more easily - especially at work. Physically I am just exhausted, I feel bad for my dog...he hasn't been on a walk in weeks.
When is your next appointment? Next week! I have my NT Scan on the 9th and my 12wk appointment on the 10th.
Rant/Rave/Questions? DH COMES HOME NEXT FREAKING WEEK! And will be home for both appointments! I am so freaking excited!! Ah!!! Finally there will be someone else to do crap around the house other than me...oh and you know I love him and have missed him too...(for those who don't know...most do...he's been gone since Jan 4th)
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I listen to mainly rock - alternative, 90s, 80s hair bands, classic rock, indie, hard rock - and country. Some pop, but not much. I don't have any particular FAVORITE band or artist, but I LOVE Incubus, Saosin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Chevelle, and bands of those genres. But I love Ed Sheeran also. I'm all over the place.
@BigBadWolf12 Those Halloween costumes were adorable -- thanks for sharing! I love the very hungry caterpillar and I wonder if by "newborn" that could fit an almost 2 month old? I'm new to this. so adorable, though! We're all going to have fun this Halloween...
I can't copy and paste on mobile (anything I'm missing?) but I plan on doing so once I get to my computer.
@jena333 thank you! From your lips to God's ears...
@HollyGolightly09@BigBadWolf12 Halloween costumes are so fun! My DD had the same due date as this LO so I had the same size kiddo to dress the first year. She went as a fish lol...it was similar to that puffy penguin costume and the only thing I could find to fit her! The newborn sizes are hard to come by. The following year she was just over 1 and she was a ladybug...similar puffy costume. This last year I bought a costume off Etsy and she went as an angel (she LOVES tutus...all girl this one!). Here's some pics to brighten everyone's day...and to geek you all up for costume shopping! It's sooooo fun.
@jmn1985 RE: water.. I'm not sure this will have a direct impact, but at 37 weeks with DD I was diagnosed with Oligohydramnios (low amniotic fluid) and they gave me a week to drink tons of fluids to try and up the amniotic fluid. After the week I was still low so they had to induce me. DD turned out perfectly healthy, so not too much to concern you with. Just try and drink as much as you can! The other impacts could just be your overall health. Drinking more water could help reduce headaches, body aches and definitely keep you hydrated, especially over the summer months. I think as long as you are sinking fluids you'll be fine, doesn't necessarily have to be water.
9+5 with twins
How I'm feeling: Mentally, ok. I took a hot bath the other night and promptly started freaking out. Called my OB office and they talked me off the ledge. Fortunately my physical symptoms are indicating all is well with these little buggers. My nausea is off the charts today. If I don't eat I'm nauseous. If I do eat, I'm even more nauseous. Fortunately I am able to stomach saltine crackers, so looks like I'll be living off these for a while. I've had a headache since last night that won't go away, and of course one of my friends posted a go fund me about her cousin who is battling stage 4 brain cancer. So now I'm freaking out that I could have brain cancer. Lord help me.
Appointment: NT Scan scheduled for 3/21, 12 week check up 3/22. I still have to go to the lab two separate times, one for a ton of bloodwork and the other for my 24 hour urine collection.
R/R: I have been so physically ill and exhausted that I can't even remember the last time I went to the grocery store. DH has been picking up the slack for sure. I was actually going to go yesterday after I dropped DD at school, drove all the way there and realized I didn't have my wallet. So I came home and slept.
Favorite music: I love everything. Classic rock, 80's, 90's and 00's pop, 90's alternative, 90's hip hop. It's one thing that DH and I completely agree on. If I had to pick one category it would be rock. The Eagles, Foo Fighters, Oasis, The Killers... these are probably the favorites. I can really listen to anything except country music and hardcore rap. They set my teeth on edge.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Physically, I'm starting to feel better. I still get really nauseated every evening around 8pm, but I'm better during the day. In place of the nausea, I've started having some heartburn, and my hormones are, ummmmm, let's say erratic. (DH's term is "crazy unpredictable.") Definitely have some pregnancy rage over here! Mentally, I'm doing ok. I am the most pregnant I've ever been, and that feels good. Also, my belly has popped out a bit, which assures me baby has been growing. But at night, every worry comes out while I'm lying in bed, and I hold my breath when I get up for that first pee every morning, half expecting blood. I don't know if that will ever go away, and I'll just have to learn to manage it.
When is your next appointment? Monday, 3/6, 1 pm. Monday can't get here fast enough!
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm super tired today, because our city's annual Mardi Gras parade and celebration started a block away from our house, and the drum lines didn't stop playing until 12:30am.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I don't really listen to EDM, rap, or anything with screaming, but otherwise I listen to a wide variety of things. Today, I've listened to Broadway show tunes and Nirvana so far. My top five (because who can pick just one?!) are probably Bob Dylan, Ben Folds, Damien Rice, Radiohead, and Pearl Jam.
@Texafornian Still rooting for you! And hey, today is one less day you have to wait for you results. (hugs)
@jena333 FX your DH's results come back negative! Definitely keep up updated.
@cmar1006 We saw The Killers last year. They put on a great show, so if you ever get the chance to see them, take it!
@lahearn18 Chevelle story time. I snuck into an 18 and over Chevelle show when I was a junior in high school, and got my nose fractured in the pit. (Mosh pits are a bad idea when you're only 5 feet tall, because your nose is at everyone else's elbow height.) The only way to get me out was to crown surf me to the front. I was pouring blood. Their bass player helped me get down when he realized I was hurt, and I bled on his shoes. I still snuck into shows I wasn't supposed to after that, but I never moshed again.
@amandarene112 THAT'S AWESOME and sucks all at the same time! I went to an Anberlin, Chevelle, Filter, Stone Temple Pilots, Janes Addiction show a couple years ago that was fantastic. I enjoy moshing, but DH frowns upon it because he is afraid I'll get hurt...We're going to Blink 182 in May and per doctor's orders I got us old people seats not general admission mosh...
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) I have been feeling much better mentally since my positive appointment last Wednesday where we heard a strong heartbeat. Still very anxious for the next appointment, though. Physically, I'm feeling a lot better. Still pretty tired, but nausea has pretty much gone away. Boobs are still a little tender to the touch, but not as bad. Other than that, I feel good. Jeans are getting a little tight, so I'm trying to wear loose tops to cover up my belly roll lol.
When is your next appointment? March 22 for gender scan and 16 week visit.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I remember doing an NT scan with my daughter, but my midwife has never mentioned one with this pregnancy. I'm in the same doc's office as last time, just with a different provider. I didn't think about the NT scan until after my 12 week appointment last week. I would call and ask about it now, but if she should say okay and schedule, it's another day/afternoon that I have to take off work to travel an hour away to my doc. Is that awful? I'm just trying to save as much time as I can for maternity leave. And I've been diagnosed with GD early (just like my first pregnancy), so now I have to add monthly trips to the endocrinologist in there, too. And...even if the NT scan showed something, it wouldn't change how we proceeded with the pregnancy, so I guess it doesn't matter? I just get paranoid seeing everyone else talk about theirs and I remember, now, doing it before!
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? Wide variety. Country most often in the car, but also contemporary christian and 90s or Pop2K on XM.
jlf1019 I am type 2 diabetic so I totally get not wanting to add more appointments into what we already have... my high risk OB offered the NT, and honestly, I only took it to get an extra ultrasound and see the baby again... otherwise I wouldn't have, because like you it wouldn't make a difference ... and my dr didn't push it or make it seem like it was super urgent to do, she just said if I wanted to do it I could... so I feel like if you don't want to then it shouldn't be a big deal but as always, its best to check with your midwife/dr

How far along are you: 9w6d. I'm excited to hit double digit weeks tomorrow!
How are you doing: Mentally, I'm alright. Enjoying my job at the moment (I teach high school) and happy to be this far along. Physically, I'm starting to do a little better. Had a huge relief of symptoms yesterday and worried that it was a sign of something wrong. Based on my current nauseous feelings, the relief was temporary and I think LO is ok.
Next appointment: March 21 for some tests (still hammering out what insurance will cover) and March 31 with my midwife. Such a long wait. I may do a heartbeat check in another week or so just to give me some peace of mind.
Rants/raves/questions: rave: I've really appreciated reading everyone else's stories. It helps to not feel alone. Rant: a colleague literally asked me POINT BLANK if I was pregnant. I have. I poker face, so all I can say is thank goodness no one else was there to hear her! And I'd better start getting comfortable sharing if my weight gain is already that noticeable.
How are you doing: I'm okay. I took my OB up on her kind offer to come in next week just to hear the heartbeat before I leave on a trip to France. I just went in today for a urine sample, since I want to make sure I don't have another UTI, especially before this trip. I don't look/feel pregnant yet, just bloated, per usual!
Next appointment: Apart from the heartbeat check on Monday, next official appointment is March 22 I think. So 3 weeks.
Rants/raves/questions: rave: My friend's wedding is October 27th, and I'm due September 4th. Seems like enough time in between, but I live in NYC and the wedding is in MA, outside of Boston. The logistics of renting a car, driving with a 1.5 month baby, and figuring out how to handle a newborn at a wedding (or getting someone to watch him/her for 3 hours at the hotel?) are all daunting to me, and my gut is telling me it's not a good idea. She's a good friend, but I know she'd understand. If the wedding were local or even in CT that would be much more doable! But it's still a bummer... Thoughts?
GTKY: My favorite band is not too well known: Over the Rhine. They're actually a husband and wife team. Love them!
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Better than I thought I'd be at this point, mentally. Anxiously waiting for my cell free DNA blood test results but I'm very optimistic. Physically I'm feeling tired and nauseous today but it might be because I'm weaning off diclegis and my body is adjusting (nausea)/ I'm still taking diclegis (tired)
When is your next appointment? Just had my 12 week appt yesterday so not for another month. Dr moved up my due date by a week and a half!
Rant/Rave/Questions? H is finally picking up the slack around the house. Although it could've been partly bc it was my bday this past weekend and he was being nice for that. I started my new position this week full time and I am so busy, I have no time for anything. Like I barely have time to even look at my phone besides at lunch. It's nice to be so busy bc the day flies by, but I'll be happy to finally get into a routine again. Also, I told my manager at work about my PG. she was happy for me and is already talking about preparing for my leave...so crazy to think how fast it's going to come.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? Mostly pop or 80's/90's on the radio. My favorite pandora station is jack Johnson which will also play a lot of Beatles, ray lamontagne, Jason mraz and Ben Harper. Easy listening.
@ashley2824 I think jack Johnson also does kid songs! I remember a friend with her little boy listened to him in the car, and I liked it. Will have to remember that for baby/toddler!
@ashley2824 I think jack Johnson also does kid songs! I remember a friend with her little boy listened to him in the car, and I liked it. Will have to remember that for baby/toddler!
There's a few Pandora stations that are Jack Johnson/Ingrid Michaelson etc that are kid friendly! Elizabeth Mitchell Children's Radio is a fave.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) I feel good! Very nervous though about getting the NIPT results back.. anyone get there's less than 2 weeks? But I have been reassuring myself by looking at the most beautiful pictures of kids with down syndrome ever. What little angels!
When is your next appointment? 3/24
Rant/Rave/Questions? oh the Halloween costumes! I can't wait! I want to do more for this pregnancy via excitement. Like, we have no earthly idea how we are going to announce!! I need to go on pinterest..
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I like a little bit of everything! In the car I have the Christian station on, but I enjoy everything. Even screamo. DH listens to EDM... yes. It annoys me but some songs are so catchy.

@Sugargirl1019 When I start freaking out about something being wrong with the baby, I always go look at pictures of a little girl with Down's syndrome... I read the mom's blog occasionally, and she is precious. I don't know why, so many other things could be wrong, but that always makes me feel better. We are planning on doing an announcement this weekend if everything is good at the US Friday. I realized yesterday I have no idea what that announcement will entail, haha.
How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) physically exhausted. Nausea periodically hits me. Acne is become a problem
When is your next appointment? March 7 last ultrasound and appointment with re. I see my ob on the 16th.
Rant/Rave/Questions? So tired.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? I only list to music when o commute to work. Rock/pop music. I am terrible and can't tell you the names of song or the band. Just that I like it.
@sugargirl1019 maybe you'll get ideas for announcements from the TTGP grad check-in Whatever you decide to do and whenever you decide to do it, your baby will be so celebrated Your LO is already so celebrated by those of us who know....I hope you're not feeling pressure to have a certain kind of elaborate announcement

How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) still have slight nausea but it's starting to ease up, thank goodness!
When is your next appointment? March 13th! Which is my FIRST appt and still so far away!
Rant/Rave/Questions? I just want to make sure baby is ok. I didn't order a doppler last week because I didn't want to drive myself crazy if I didn't find a heartbeat but now I'm wishing I would have.
GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? Top 100 type of music with occasional rock and country. So, everything?
Re: PGAL check in 3/1
How are you doing?
As far as I know it's just a bunch of health questions, but I don't think I get an US or a doppler or anything

How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...)
Well I was doing fine until this morning.
Go baby go!

@jena333 I hope good test results come back for you as well!

FWIW, (and I'm still counting on good news for you), my cousins have two children with CF who are wonderful, beautiful kids leading full lives (one is off at college and one is in middle school). Medical treatments for CF have made a huge amount of progress and will only continue to do so.
@lap018 Congrats on the girl... how exciting!
@HollyGolightly09 hope your symptoms even out soon!
@BigBadWolf12 yay on the stroller score!
Always.

How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) I thought my symptoms were fading and then I ate lentil soup for lunch yesterday and my stomach turned into the size of Texas. Mentally doing well despite EDD of loss being this coming weekend.

GTKY: What kind of music do you normally listen to? Do you have a favorite band, artist, or song? DH music shames me all the time.

Mentally, I'm "ok", but my emotions have been getting to me (THANKS HORMONES), not really crying tho, more getting aggravated more easily - especially at work.
I can't copy and paste on mobile (anything I'm missing?) but I plan on doing so once I get to my computer.
@HollyGolightly09 @BigBadWolf12 Halloween costumes are so fun!

@Texafornian your DD sounds simply adorable! I love how their minds work. So cute. Still praying for your blood results!
@lahearn18 yay for DH coming home! I am sure you are beside yourself with excitement.

GTKY: I like many genres, except for country and hardcore rap! My tastes seem similar to yours, @MyNamesTaken , @cmar1006 , and @amandarene112

(Mentally, physically...)
Better than I thought I'd be at this point, mentally.
