@harleyquinn0621 I would be really scared if I saw bright red blood but it's great your doctor assured you things are OK. Apparently it's very common in pregnancy, but I still think it's scary. It's certainly not something any pregnant woman wants to see!
Hey all. Just got genetic testing back on my post d&c and it was positive for trisomy 13. And a girl. I guess it's a good thing nature did what it had to or we'd have had a very very hard situation to deal with right about now. :-(

@rainafire77 I know I don't "go here" but I lurk all the threads, I just wanted to say I am so so sorry you are going through this. My prayers are with you and your family and I hope you can find some healing. Big big hugs. My heart hurts for you.
@rainafire77 so sorry to hear of the news. My 2nd PG, the baby had T13. Its an awful thing to go through, but it's "nice" to have an explanation. After the loss my H and I got genetic testing done which came back that neither of us carried the extra half (I think?) chromosome. And now we have a healthy pregnancy (so far). Sorry you had to go through this and I wish you so much luck in the future!
I don't really know where else to put this, since there isn't a thread for irrational thoughts... I have a terrible cold, and my chest has started hurting. I logically know that it hurts because I've been caughing. But, any kind of chest pain has always been a huge anxiety trigger for me.... to the point that it has landed me in the ER with severe panic attacks. That, plus being home alone, plus no anxiety meds since I've been pregnant... I'm a disaster.
@HollyGolightly09 Do you have anything that helps you? Do some guided meditation, make some soothing tea, get out your coloring books, take a warm bath, read Psalm 23. I know panic attacks are hard to fight off once they start, but do what you can to head it off. I'm praying for you.
@HollyGolightly09 Breathing helps me with anxiety. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 7, breathe out for 8 seconds; repeat until you feel calm enough. There's also no shame in going to the ER for this if you really need the help.
