2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
The morning(all day) sickness finally hit! Feels like I'm super hungover and also have been cramping a ton.
Today is the day in pregnancy that baby stopped growing last time, but I got to hear a heartbeat yesterday! It was the most beautiful sound. At the moment I'm feeling cautiously optimistic.
3) When is your next appointment?
2 weeks
4) Rants/Raves/Questions
When is that dang giraffe gonna have its baby?!
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring?
Flowers and the colors! I absolutely loooove flowers. Especially the purple ones because they smell amazing!

DD-Due 10/24/17
1) How far along are you? 7w4d
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Great on both fronts. Having an u/s picture hanging on my fridge really helps. Physically, still dealing with MS. That can go away now.
3) When is your next appointment? March 20. 10 week appointment, blood draw for DNA testing.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions - Nothing really. Just found out a very good friend of mine possibly has THREE BABIES in her ute.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? My garden! Or possibly the blossom trees outside my house, they smell sooooo good.

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically doing okay. I've had some fleeting nausea this morning, but it passes quickly. Emotionally, since my symptoms have lessened some, I'm a bit more anxious. It's going to be a long wait to my next appointment.
3) When is your next appointment? 3/13 with my OB after graduating from the RE.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: Rave: it's our wedding anniversary today - celebrating three years! Rant: it's also the start of Lent so we won't do anything fun.
Anyone had a UTI while pregnant? I was put on Keflex last week and had my urine culture done. RE's office called yesterday and said the Keflex won't work and put me on Bactrim ... but that says on the bottle to not take if you become pregnant. I've called the nurse and am waiting to hear back, but it makes me nervous. Googling didn't help matters.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? Being outside. I love the flowers too; we have an azalea bush that blooms so beautifully each year.
@flowerintherain I'm following the darn giraffe too!
@Cythe Woah for three babies for your friend - how exciting!

I had a UTI when pregnant with DS that I couldn't get rid of. The symptoms are very different when pregnant and you may not even know you have it. I kept having contractions that were affecting the baby and his heart rate got too high. 2 courses of antibiotics didn't work, so I had to have IV antibiotics in the hospital. Make sure they retest you to make sure it's gone after you've finished your antibiotics!

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I've got the all day nausea. I feel so bad for my 16 month old and hubby cause I'm just not myself. Emotionally, this is the week I lost my last baby. But I'm not as nervous as I thought I'd be, I think because I got my BFP so early. I feel like I'm checking for blood less and less. And I think the constant nausea helps remind me that I'm pregnant today. Blessed to be sick!
3) When is your next appointment? FINALLY a week away! March 8th. Hoping midwife will get a heartbeat on the Doppler and then schedule my dating ultrasound.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: Going out of town for a women's retreat with church and I'm so nervous to be sick around a bunch of ladies (including a really close friend) who don't know I'm pregnant!
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? My birthday is April 5th and then Easter!! also do love being outside.
@Cythe Yay for the US pic on the fridge! We're renovating our house and everything's a mess so I have mine next to my bed. DH thinks it's cute ... what he doesn't know is that I also have about 5 million positive PG tests in the drawer in my nightstand, which I think crosses the cute line straight into Crazytown.
@laeberge3 Happy anniversary!!!!
@MamaStreeter Getting through the loss point from the last one was so intense for me. Take care of yourself this week and enjoy that MS
AFM
1) How far along are you? 7w4d
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? It feels like the worst hangover I've ever had and it will. not. end. I was up all night last night with heartburn and nausea, which is my own damn fault for eating tater tots for dinner, but it was all I could imagine stomaching. Emotionally, I'm doing pretty ok this week. The HB was strong on Monday and the bean is measuring right on schedule, plus I feel nauseated all the time -- none of which happened last time around, so it gives me a lot of hope.
3) When is your next appointment? Not until March 21
4) Rants/Raves/Questions At what point does MS usually subside? I'm glad for it now because it's reassuring, but I'd love to be able to look forward to feeling human again.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? Not being cold all the time! I run cold and I hate it.
1) How far along are you?
9w5d according to LMP and O, but baby is measuring 10w2d
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
I was feeling utterly TERRIBLE. Fatigue that mimicked depression, a constant feeling of repulsion/nausea about everything, even colors and sounds. The last 2 days however I've felt considerably better.
3) When is your next appointment?
4 weeks. I had one yesterday.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions
I saw the fetus yesterday. It was bicycling its legs and it waved, that was cool. Good heartbeat, although we didn't hear it. Doctor says my chance of miscarrying now is very unlikely.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring?
EVERYTHING. Blooms, the nice smells, running water, peepers, crickets, all of it!
It's been a long road- Let's just say that!

2) Physically, sicker than sick. Emotionally, pretty steady but not exactly comfortable. I wish I could say the nvp helped me feel safer, but truth is, I was just as sick last pregnancy so no dice.
3) When is your next appointment? Tuesday, March 7th for my first official prenatal visit. Just had an ultrasound yesterday.
rant: Everyone is expecting me to feel relief because of the ultrasound yesterday but I'm two weeks away from my loss milestone and all I feel is tired thinking about how slowly time is passing and how that won't bring any relief either.
rave: Not that I'm not grateful for what appears to be a healthy lil babou we saw yesterday! DH cried but I was too stupefied by my extreme nerves to feel much of anything. He ordered a doppler today. I actually thought I felt implantation (woke me up out of a dead sleep) and the little blueberry was exactly where I felt it, so that's kind of neat.
questions: nope
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? I think spring is kinda gross, actually. I hate when there's no soft transition to the unbearable heat of summer. No, that's not answering my own question at all. This is my second year gardening and I am so happy to be able to start now. I just nursed an heirloom hot pepper plant into germinating, so it's time to plant my tomatoes I guess!

Ambrose born on his due date!
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Good. I'll probably feel more anxious when my appointment gets closer.
3) When is your next appointment? My first appt is 3/23
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: We're going out of town with a bunch of friends this weekend and I'm not even going to try and hide anything. Luckily one of the other friends is pregnant too so I won't be the only one not drinking.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? Being outside and hiking.
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Good! I really have nothing to complain about physically or emotionally. I'm nervous but trying to be as positive as possible.
3) When is your next appointment? Tomorrow, 3/2. We'll see if the baby is progressing as my dates seem to be way off. I'll be much more relaxed if this nugget has grown more than a week!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant... This bloated 4-5 month looking belly!! I'm already getting seats on the subway (which is nice) but I'm not that pregnant!! I'm just waiting for one of the b-'s in the office to say something.
5) GTKY: What are your favorite things about spring? Warmer weather. This Cali girl can't stand the Northeast winters!
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Still throwing up. Still super nauseous. I've got a cold. And DS didn't sleep last night so I'm exhausted. Emotionally I'm doing surprisingly well this week!
3) When is your next appointment? March 9. Can't wait!!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm ready for "morning" sickness to be done!
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? No more snow! And going to the park with DS!
@Cythe holy cow! I wish your friend great luck and two villages to help her raise (possible) triplets!
@laeberge3 Happy Anniversary! I hope you guys celebrate after Lent is over!
@MamaStreeter I can sympathize. I got my BFP earlier this time too, which was reassuring and the sickness, though almost incapacitating at times, is at least making me feel a little safer. The 'am I bleeding' checks have so happily gotten fewer and farther between.
@migdala hooray for a strong heartbeat and so glad for you to be right on schedule.
@raincity glad to hear you are feeling a bit better emotionally. Along with good news from the doctor (and what a cute ultrasound!) I hope it helps carry you through the next few weeks.
@reneeannemm I'm sorry that time is moving so slowly for you. Just remember that this pregnancy is not the same as any other pregnancy, including your last one, and this one sounds strong, normal and promising! I think this is the weekend I get to plant my seedlings too!
@riverraine have a good time this weekend. I love your attitude that it doesn't matter if anyone finds out. It took me a little while to get to that point.
@lovemaddux hope you have a good appt tomorrow. I totally feel ya on the belly bloat! It's ridiculous how large I feel and look!
1) How far along are you?... 6w5d.
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?... Physically awful. All day nausea for about a week now. Heartburn and serious bloat. I'm doing it to myself but I'm in a conundrum. I feel less nausea if I eat a little something, so I feel like I'm always eating something, and apparently everything is giving me gas. My poor belly (and pants!) are sooo uncomfortably stretched!... Emotionally I'm still in a pretty good place. I thought I would be a lot more anxious and terrified but still feeling like it's out of my hands and what happens, happens.
3) When is your next appointment?... This Friday. This is mostly just strange coincidence, but I keep having scheduled days off around losses. I just happened to have a planned week off that fell on the days right after finding out about my first pregnancy loss. I just passed the anniversary of both that and a dear friends' passing, which I also had scheduled days off coincidentally right after. I started thinking that it was the universe's way of telling me that I somehow know these things are coming up and I mystically scheduled my days off in a way that I would have the time off to recover and repair. Soooo of course my first doctors appt now falls, you guessed it, the first day of a scheduled four day weekend. I have to admit that it's making me a little nervous.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions... Rant would be the 'see above' (both bloat and silly mystical vacation coincidences)...
Rave would be, um it's my birthday! Despite feeling so crappy, I at least got to do absolutely nothing after work and not feel guilty about it...
Questions, well this one is touchy, but is anyone else afraid to look at / sign up for the free baby box, etc offerings? I love and want free stuff, but I just remember so many horror stories from the loss boards of women who were hounded by reminders from these people after their losses, and I just don't feel like I'm out that danger yet.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring?... The smell! I don't know what in particular it is, but Spring has my favorite season smell. That, along with peepers, always makes me so happy to be leaving winter.
@lovemaddux fx for a great appointment tomorrow!
@reneeannemm I totally feel you. My loss wasn't as late as yours, but as I'm about to whine about, I completely get the feeling of no relief.
Tw** Guys, I cannot escape late 1st tri loss mentions this evening. I was doing really great the last few days, knowing that baby has a consistent strong HB but it seems everywhere I go today, someone is mentioning losses after seeing a HB or after 10 weeks. I know we are all feeling the anxiety about various loss related things, I just needed to get that out there. Dr. Google says the odds of loss after a HB are so low, but I can't seem to escape it. Gah. (Ps, thanks for listening)

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically just regular pregnancy stuff, nothing too intense so far. Mentally not awesome. Every night and every nap I have a nightmare about m/c, I check myself any time I feel any discharge and panic. It doesn't feel real, I keep feeling like ti won't last, just not doing well. I'm really hoping that my ultrasound on the 14th will show a healthy, growing little bean, and I will start to relax a little.
3) When is your next appointment? March 14. Morning with the MFM and afternoon ultrasound
4) Rants/Raves/Questions Nah, just praying every day that this baby sticks
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? I love the warmer weather, getting out of the house, the smells of freshness and the birds chirping. Going on walks and getting outside without a coat. I'm so excited for nicer weather

@cooaladolll I get it. MH being out of town is coinciding with family visiting for a week and I can't help but fight it with thinking there's NO reason I should need family around in his absence that week. It makes me nervous, too. I hate that I think that way.
1) How far along are you? 7+5 today
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically SO tired, I've been sleeping through the night plus 4-6 hours during the day on my days off of work. Hips are sore, boobs sore and swollen, and nausea that's finally dissipating with homemade diclegis.
3) When is your next appointment? Today!
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: Still thankful for strong symptoms.
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? Planting our garden, longer days, our volunteer tulips.

1) How far along are you? 7w1d today
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm actually decent. Just extremely tired and little bouts of nausea (like today in Target when I almost puked on the floor), but they normally can be subsided by eating. Food aversions change daily which I thought was weird. Emotionally? Decent too. I'm still so, so nervous and now the warm and fuzzies are fading from hearing the hb a week ago. I ordered a doppler and it came in yesterday, I'll probably try next week with that but not get my hopes up.
3) When is your next appointment? 4 weeks from yesterday! March 29th. I'll be 11 weeks.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm craving chocolate. Baby Ruth, Peanut M&M's, etc. It's bad. I can't resist!
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? All of the outdoor activities! The festivals start back up, the farmers market opens, it's just such a great time of year.
2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Nauseous still, but feeling a little better. Some trouble sleeping, but that goes back to some anxiety issues that I have been suffering from for a while, largely from work-related issues.
3) When is your next appointment? Next Wednesday
4) Rants/Raves/Questions
5) GTKY: What are your favourite things about spring? Being outside again and opening up the doors and windows to the house to get the winter stench out of the house.

@Cythe I totally understand what you mean. I think that's actually why I'm zen. I don't feel like getting past my last early loss (which I have) has anything to do with not having loss at a later time, despite the lesser likelihood.
End TW*
And thank you for the well wishes!
@sqfibemom that's rough the fears are getting to you. Hopefully the nightmares are just a phase and that they pass after that next doctor's appointment.
@virginiaham you hit it right on the head there. Hopefully we can both get through those next transition times uneventfully and look back and say we got nervous about nothing. And how did you make homemade diclegis?
@afwoods10 I like the idea of getting a home doppler for reassurance. And I would almost kill for a Baby Ruth right now. Or a PayDay. Mmmmmm.
@aprilsarahjune oh to be able to open the windows right now. With my super sense of smell I feel like my whole house smells like a dog fart today and it's hitting my gag reflex hard!

@cherrybea I'm sorry I don't, but didn't want to leave you hanging. I'm pretty there are growth spurts, even in the uterus. A heartbeat is a wonderful thing to hold on to. Take care.
My doppler (Sonoline B ) arrived today! Pretty sure my mail carrier thought it was a sex toy, since it arrives unmarked and I saw her studying the package through the peephole. It's too early to really hear anything, but I'll keep practising a bit every day until it's not! I hope it helps.
