I yelped out loud in my office the other day when LO bonked my cervix.
@jayandaplus I don't know if I would say the movements "lessen" so much as they get different. At times your stomach will be mishapen because the kid is pointing a weird way. A few times I could visibly see and feel both sides of DD's foot sticking out. They become more of a "rolling" sensation, which I'm starting to experience already.
OP's pic looks very familiar. I was trying to determine if she was an AE but I couldn't find anyone with a similar name.
I second what @NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot said. Its more of a rolling sensation as they get bigger. It's fun and bizarre to watch although sometimes super uncomfortable. There will be moment where babys butt or limbs are sticking out on side so much your belly is completelt lopsided. And it usually make DH go woah wtf. I'm trying to enjoy them while I can since I'm done after this one.
I'm getting to the point of being hungry ALL.THE.TIME but the amount of room in my stomach is running out so I can barely eat. I hate this part of third tri.

This is me. Almost every night I'm uncomfortably full AND hungry. It takes very little.
Where do I even start, 3rd tri sucks a lot! the foot on the wrong side of my ribcage, the butt sticking out between my ribs and my hip, that is super uncomfortable, can't breathe, can't eat, can't bend over the basketball that is now my torso, the kicks hurt. Thankfully the swelling hasn't come back this time around so that's nice, my rings still fit and I can wear real shoes (not that I am, summer and flip flops ftw) I'm sick of tee lack of sleep! If I'm not getting up to pee, it's because I can't breathe! Ugh!

Reading these 3rd tri complaints makes me feel so much better (sadly)...I have been complaining to DH what seems like non-stop and he just keeps saying "I don't remember you being this uncomfortable with DS"...yeah, I don't either. Because if I HAD vividly remember the uncomfortable nature of most of pregnancy coupled with the birth/post birth experience, we'd probably still just be talking about maybe, someday, soon(ish), thinking about trying for #2. Haha...in all seriousness, of course I am thrilled to be pregnant, just over feeling like pot bellied pig.
ETA: Big, fat YES to feeling hungry and then full 3 bites in and then hungry again 7 minutes later. It's so annoying.
I just started the 3rd tri this week so I know the best is yet to come. I am definitely hungry ALL the time as well. Also laying in bed awake at night thinking about all the logistics of going into labor, where I'm going to be, what time it will be, will my family answer the phone so they can come over right away and take care of my DS, how fast things will progress, the pain.... rolling over in bed causes me to be out of breath and I feel huge even though I don't think I really look huge...
most likely this will be my last pregnancy so I am trying to remember that I need to enjoy the positives of being pregnant.
Yes, I constantly try to push baby out of my ribs, it's too painful! The vibrations are weird, when your stomach just looks like it has it's own personal earthquake happening.
DS loved sticking his feet right up under my ribs for the whole end of my last pregnancy and it was so uncomfortable! Pushing him away didn't work but actually pulling him more up into my ribs (from the bottom of my uterus, opposite side) and holding for a few seconds actually did the trick! Try that!
I love the turn this post took. Too bad OP never came back to play.
DS was the most active of my 3 babies during pregnancy (at least thus far). I feel like this baby tends to be pretty quiet, which I am hoping translates into a mild newborn because DS was a hard baby both in and out.
