I'm on weekly appointments now. Next one is on Friday. My dr did the group b strep test last week when I was only 33 weeks, which seems early, so I'm going to ask her if they'll repeat it when I get to the hospital for delivery.
ETA: that group B came back negative

Bi weekly appt Tuesday. Last appt baby was still breech. I'm terrible at identifying body parts. I have no idea if he flipped or not so I'll ask if she can feel around and tell how he's positioned.
Check in appointment on Tuesday. I am 33 weeks as of yesterday, wondering if I will be going every two weeks now. Our hospital does the two week check ins a little later than most.
I'm still on 4 week OB appointments until 36 weeks (33.5 now) so all I have this week is a maintenece appt with the osteopath. I haven't had any back pain since I started seeing her, so I love going!
Ultrasound tomorrow and a meeting with the doc my H went off on. Here's hoping she doesn't think the worst of us- and more importantly- that baby has grown!

I've got an appointment today at 11:00. I was supposed to go last week, but had to reschedule because DS was sick. I'll be seeing the NP today, which I'm looking forward to a different experience since my OB seems really rushed this time around. Of course, some of the questions I had were about my previous pregnancy/delivery, so since she doesn't know me or my history, I may not be able to get the answers right away.
I did schedule the rest of my appointments for this pregnancy, which was really weird to me. I have another appointment in two weeks, then I will be on weekly appointments! So excited! I did find out that my OB is going to be gone the week of Spring Break (I'll be 37 weeks) so that little peanut had better stay put.
Regular appointment tomorrow at 34 weeks. Should be pretty boring as usual lol. The next appointment, 36 weeks, we get a quick ultrasound to check on baby's position - which I am stressing out about. I have no idea what position he's in now but I know he was breech at 28 weeks so I reallyyyy hope he's flipped since then. I am going to ask tomorrow if she can feel his position.
I decided to try the chiropractor for my sciatic pain. I'm waiting for him to come in now and all of a sudden I'm freaking out about how safe it is. Wish me luck
eta why I was nervous. a 37 year old lady in town had a stroke Friday and the dr said it was a direct result from the neck adjustment that she had the previous day. All went well today tho!
I had one this morning at 33w5d. Everything looks good. OB wanted to check me based on my description of discharge and my mention of a little bit of irritation, but thankfully no signs of a yeast infection or BV! One more two week checkup and then I'll be every week.
It's 12:07 my time and my appointment with the NP was at 11:00. I'm starving and seriously fed up with the way my dr office has handled appointments this time around. Oh, good, I hear everyone microwaving their lunches.
ETA: She finally came in about 10 minutes after I posted this. I did enjoy visiting with her and got to ask her my questions. She was very reassuring and didn't make me feel rushed. That kinda made up for the long wait time.
I have an NST (mostly just blood pressure check because little man doesn't like to cooperate) then a BPP on Tuesday, a reg appointment on Friday, and another NST/BPP on Friday later in the day. I am praying all goes well with the BPP's with my blood pressure being so high even on an upped dosage of Labetalol.
Went to the midwife yesterday at 31weeks. She is a little offbeat and I loved it. She told me a story about Navajo women and made it very clear that my life, pregnancy and toddler will be draining a lot of my energy. She said don't "do it all" because you just can't with a 2yr old in the 3T and even when the new baby is here. It made me feel oddly calm because I haven't had any issues with my 2yr old. I'm really thinking I might be able to do this!
@Nolegirl1185 I'm joining you on the NST and BPP train. Apparently I have to have NSTs every monday and BPPs every Thursday - oh joy! My boss about cried when I told her - she's terrified of me going on leave and having to pick up my work/reviews.
I was highly annoyed this morning when I got put on the NST machine and 6 minutes in, the machine couldn't pick up the heartbeat. Of course the nurse didn't come check on me until the full 20 min had run up. So of course, I had to sit on the machine for bascially another 20 min. Baby girl was just fine and mama was getting hungry! Haha. Grumpy/hungry preggo stuck sitting on a machine is never a good thing.

Sigh. Another appt, some good news, some not so great news.
Growth ultrasound went okay. We are now in the 12th percentile so yay for that. Baby is still head down and buried in my pelvis so no face shots yet again. Little Miss wants to remain unseen. We went ahead and did an NST as well- I am down to 1 a week now instead of 2. That went fine as well.
As as I was leaving- the girl at the checkout told me I had to have weekly ultrasounds now which still doesn't make sense to me. Something about checking fluid levels. So I went ahead and scheduled them so I could try to get good times, but have sent a message to my doc asking for clarification on this. DH is going to flip out over the cost of all these, and I really don't understand why the need for them. No one said anything about decreased fluid levels today, so I'm at a loss.

@M&Max The first NST I had, I was there for over 3 hours trying to get a solid 25 minutes, but little man wasn't having it. If it happens again and they do not allow you to move the monitor around yourself, ask your Dr./midwife if you can do the BPP's instead. Today when I went in I only sat for 20 minutes to get several bp readings then went straight to the tech for a BPP. Although I like to hear the heartbeat and movements, it's so much faster (for me) to do a BPP. If you don't mind, please remind us (maybe just me haha) why you are having the NST's done?
@Nolegirl1185 I have GD and it's a precaution since GD can cause low fluid levels and decreased fetal movements. DS never had any issues with either the NST or the BPP but I guess it's better to be safe rather than sorry.
Had my appointment today and baby is doing well but I did have to get checked today, boo. I had been having BH's ALLL day yesterday with not much break in between them so she wanted to go ahead and make sure that nothing was changing or progressing yet. I'm not so that's good. She did tell me at this point to pay close attention and if I have 5 a hour (or more) even if they aren't painful at all I need to go the hospital to get monitored. I also wasn't doing a lot of moving around (was at my desk sitting almost all day and then not up and around much in the evening), had been drinking lots of water etc so she's hoping it was just position of baby that day but I still need to be cautious. I am going to try to take it extra easy today and pay close attention but fingers crossed today is better.
I had a growth u/s yesterday and regular appt as well. LO is now 6lbs... which is insane to me. DS was a big baby early on, but I feel like he wasn't 6lbs at 32w though lol. Baby and fluid levels are all great though, so they are not concerned and given my history, all the doctor's I've seen just agree that I grow big babies--which is a relief because I do a little nervous because you never know I guess. He did recommend a pregnancy brace though since I'm having such a hard time moving around. He said it will help redistribute the weight, and said to try the wraps/ring slings if I want. He had never heard of that but said it wouldn't hurt the baby as long as I was following the instructions.
Got a few nice shots of his face, he has big chubby cheeks lol! Dr did tell me though that I'm looking at another c section probably, which is kind of disappointing bc I really wanted to try for a vbac, but I knew this would be a possibility when we found out it was another boy. So I'm having another u/s at 38w to check the weight and if it's looking like another 10 lb baby then I'll have a c/section the next week. If he slows down enough though I could maybe be induced instead to try for the vbac but I'm sure this guy will be pretty close to DS at birth. They were within half a pound of his birth weight when I went into labor with him.
Had my checkup scan today. Those of you who know about my polyhydramnios mess a few weeks ago - it looks like it's GONE! AFI 19, last time it was 27, under 25 is normal. Deepest vertical pocket is 7 (under 8 is fine). Chuffed. Baby is 1920 grams, measuring in the 82nd percentile - big baby, so induction is still on the cards But i am so so so relieved that the polyhydramnios is gone.
I also had a whooping cough shot and a tetanus, dyphteria and polio booster so currently feeling a bit of the side effects. my baby is well!!! time to change my signature back

@ashleym112 I hope you get to experience the VBAC that you are wanting and am glad to hear that the Dr.'s do not think there is anything concerning with the size of the baby. My little man is measuring quite large too, but n one but me seems to be concerned lol. @smallanimal I'm so glad all went well with your scan! What a sigh of relief it must be
I had my first appointment today with the new midwives, and so far DH and I both like them a lot. Super friendly, very reassuring with everything, really listened to what we had to say...just great overall. When she did my fundal measurement, I was right on track, and she thinks my fluid levels are fine (unlike my last appointments at my previous practice when I was told that I was measuring 5 weeks ahead with high fluid levels). She also had DD "help" with the measuring and heartbeat check, which was super cute. So, we're very happy with this switch! Next appointment is in two weeks, and they're going to make sure we meet all the midwives before the main event!
Thank you! and I am not too worried about the big baby because if he stays bigger than average by week 35, then they will suggest a planned delivery at 37-38 which I am totally fine with - actually, the control freak I am, I would prefer induction than waiting!!! Thanks for your lovely thoughts, it is a huge relief! (still need to watch my sugar though)

My appt this afternoon for 32 weeks was the best I've had in a long time. I got to see my favorite doctor and she was so kind and really listened.
My blood pressure is looking awesome, baby's hb 150, fundal height exact at 32 cm. They even got things fixed with my insurance change.
My reflux was doing so well today until I had to lie back once for Doppler and again for fundal height measurement. Ugh. Lol.
TW---this doctor is the same who performed my D&C in June and she was just angel of compassion at the time and has been kind and remembered how hard the experience was since then, despite that it's a large practice, and I'm crossing my fingers she'll deliver Lucy in April!
So today was interesting. I had a routine appt and mentioned I'm having a TON of BH. She asked me how often and I said I hadn't timed them. She seemed unphased but said to use a contraction app to start timing them and if they become regular or are more than 6 an hour to call and they will have to send me to L&D for monitoring.
I went back to work and began to use the app. They were every 10-11 min for 2 hrs while I sat at my desk typing, not being active at all. Ugh! So I had to call. They sent me in. Contractions continued as I laid in a hospital bed for hours being monitored. They ended up asking to check me bc they were worried about preterm labor. Cervix is high/closed. Phew!
Ive been officially diagnosed with an irritable uterus and told to take it easy. DH has forbidden me from all chores (score!) but I think he is over reacting. Dr said this will likely be my normal for the rest of the pregnancy.
@MWoodside Take it easy. Keep that baby in there and safe. Were your BH feeling like normal contractions, or different? Mine have been getting more and more similar to real contractions. My midwife mentioned the possibility of an irritable uterus but said we wouldn't do anything for now. Are they recommending any further testing or monitoring? Just wondering what irritable uterus actually means.
