I really want to discourage this being pinned. We already have two pinned threads that address the sex. One being the spreadsheet where you can easily sort/filter this same info. The second is the sex announcing thread. We are going to have so much redundant information pinned that's just unnecessary.

Agreed.
It's also super early for this, no? Most of the board is still first tri. I'm one of the earlier due dates and I'm like 2 days in to 2nd tri. I know there's the genetic test some people get that tells you boy or girl, but I didn't think that was standard. Most people find out at the anatomy scan closer to 18-20 weeks.
I think when it was suggested, it was going to let those who are mobile only be able to see how many boys/girls we have in the group (in a more snapshot like the tracker does for those on their computers). It just seems nice and easy for everyone to use.

This does not need to be pinned. As PP have said there are already two places to see what people are having, as well as people announcing in their weekly ticker check ins. Also this poll is open to everyone on the internet and that means that, though I don't know why anyone would, anyone can add to the poll, which means it may not really be accurate. I suggest people just read the spreadsheet either in desktop or get the app.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
Boo I really appreciated this poll, and it being pinned. I'm not going to visit the spreadsheet (google mobile app is annoying) and this is just a fun, quick way to view it. I just don't think it's that big of a deal to pin it.
Yea in Feb '16 it was combined with any sex announcing anybody wanted to post about. Not a fan of some google doc I'll never see and won't be participating I but it's whatever you all want. Guess some of us just won't know about the stats
The spreadsheet doesn't tally girl vs boy though, right? Because I think the idea was to see the number of girls vs boys without having to look at a big list and count ourselves. Good idea to add poll to the sex announcement thread.
Who are the 9 triplets or more??? Please tell me your story! That's AMAZING!
Also, shout out to Team Green! I'm very excited for a surprise baby and neutral nursery/wardrobe!
I'd wager several of those triplet votes are lurkers (or regs!) voting for lolz. Someone mentioned above that a drawback to the poll is that any random person who comes across it can vote, which can skew the results.

@LivLew Yes, anyone on the internet can vote in the poll so not sure how many of the triplets and more are actually August moms
ETA: I added the link to the boy vs girl poll in the sex announcement thread.
