I'm so sorry ... life just sucks sometimes. You were right to push for an ultrasound - we need to be our own advocates when it comes to our health! Doctors aren't always as proactive as they should be. So glad you're getting in for an appointment and hoping everything is ok! Hugs to you!
  • @migdala hope you get a darker line in the morning!!!

@migdala I told you it was early!!! Good luck!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • The line is lighter this morning, not darker  :'( I don't know what to do... should I just wait, or should I call for betas? Would betas tell me anything that waiting won't? I'm trying to hold on to hope but I know the line shouldn't be lighter with FMU. Wow this sucks.
  • @migdala my OB-GYN would probably make me do a pee test in the office before they'd let me do Betas.  So you could try that.  It's up to how you feel about it.  But if you get betas done and it confirms anything, it can be verified as a MC and counted towards your loss total to help you try to justify getting RPL testing if you are interested in trying to get that at any point.
:(  Sorry.  I'm hoping it's just a fluke this morning!

@migdala A lot of things can affect line darkness, including the amount of dye in the test. Especially this early on - 10 DPO is really really early! HPTs are really qualitative (yes/no) tests, even though we try to treat them like betas. Betas would give you actual numbers - and they are redone two days later to see if the numbers are doubling appropriately (every 48 hours or so). If it would ease your mind, I'd call and ask for betas. It can't hurt. And like @dpjennifer said, if it does turn out to be a CP, then it's in your medical record so you can start RPL testing sooner. I've got all my fingers crossed for you though.

Edit: And if they do make you do a urine test, keep in mind that some tests OBs use in the office are not as sensitive as home tests. Their threshold may be 100 or so, which you probably wouldn't turn at 10DPO. If you want testing with your doc, I'd push for the beta either way.
  • GL this morning @justsuzie.

    Im sorry @taggarab.

Fx for you @migdala - I hope it is some sort of fluke.
