Anyone ever have the "is it bath salts or candy" debate?
I took a bath yesterday (it was heavenly) and decided to throw in some bath salts that I got as a favor from some shower years ago. Then I looked at it and was all "that could actually be chocolate with colored sugar". I did the sniff test and it was inconclusive. So I threw them in anyway and thank god they were bath salts. I would have been upset if it was candy for 2 reasons: 1 - I would get all sticky in the tub and 2 - I would have wasted candy.
@direwolfmini CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is wonderful news!!!!
I also recently joined the facebook group, but honestly I prefer it here so I will be sticking around. I feel invested in so many of y'all's stories... I can't just leave!
so last night in my dream Justin Timberlake wanted to have sex with me and my dream self told him sorry I'm married!! I mean come on!!! I'm sure dream DH wouldn't have minded lol
oh and i'm sticking around.. i don't do Facebook so..
she has a fb page and posted a 31 week quad bump yesterday!! WOOT FOR HER! omg go mama i can't imagine. Carrying 2 at 31 weeks was already extremely hard for me.
@direwolfmini & @mrsyimster - If I have time I can create a spreadsheet. I get confused too! Then I go back on the introduction post and have to remind myself.
I'm good with both! I feel like I'd be missing out on TB if I left. Plus we've all gotten to know one another. I'm not sure how much I'll actually be on with a newborn, but I'll try! I can't wait to see more babies!
I am definitely not leaving- I can't wait to see everyone's beautiful babies and hear the birth stories! The FB page is nice but I like it here better @direwolfmini so happy for you and your family!! What a blessing and such good timing too and the rest of you guys are cray about eating dates lol. If I could afford them I probably would hop on the train though. I am immensely interested to see how they help you and how well they contribute!
Is anyone exclaiming a true "f**k you" every time they drop something on the floor which is ALL THE TIME? At this point, it's going to be my girl's first words.

If I drop something in the floor (which is all the dann time because I think I'm developing weakness in my fingers from carpal tunnel) it is lost to me forever. I leave it there and keep moving. Or I ask my toddler to pick it up for ne, lol. He loves being a "heppo" (helper).
@longliveregina@Minger86 I'm glad I'm not the only one who is using my toddler to pick up my things! She even unzips my boots and takes them off along with my socks.
Funny story...I dropped a piece of ice on the floor at work today when I was filling my water bottle and looked at it for a solid 20 seconds before deciding to kick it under the counter instead of picking it up. Turned around and 2 nurses were watching me and laughing! I just said "sorry I decided it was too far down there" and kept walking!
@nicklesb I'm in that club. Though usually I just sigh deeply and stare at it for several minutes before deciding whether it's worth the time and effort to pick it up. Part of my job involves some light cleaning. I work in an office that has some carpets and some hard floors. At night, when I sweep the hard floors, instead of using the little scooper thing, I just sweep everything onto the carpet where I will vacuum it up later so that I don't have to bend over.

10 days postpartum and I still say it! I think I can actually pick shit up myself now, but I forget I can........ c section does hurt a little..

I do that at home! In college, my roommates were absolutely fascinated by the fact that I can pick up anything with my toes - it's something that I just have always done my whole life. My mom thought it was hilarious when I told her about my roommates being dazzled - it's a habit that I apparently picked up from watching her, and something that she did when she was pregnant, but I never made the connection that that was WHY she was doing it.

I use my toes!!! Lol
I used to. I discovered yesterday it's now hard to bring my foot up to hip level!
So here's a new one: smoke delay for going to work. Apparently overnight there was a fire in part of my store - a customer's car exploded in the garage and there's still smoke everywhere so we're opening later (if we open at all today)... Thankfully nobody was there at the time & thankfully the fire dept got to it in time that the store wasn't burnt down, but still...scary to think what could happen!
