AFM: Just had my progesterone bloodwork done between classes. I think my veins are tired of giving blood, because it took 4 tries before the nurse could find a vein that would give blood. I'm going to go grab a sweater so that people don't think I'm some sort of drug addict. I'm so excited for Thursday! My husband is out of town all week for work, which I'm really bummed about, but at the same time it is a slightly nice break, because he snores. I hope everyone has a great remainder to your day.

Afm I had a definite BFP today! I'm in disbelief but DH and I are a little hesitant until we get the beta. I'm not supposed to have a beta until 2/6 but called my Doc's office so I can get one on 2/3 instead
I just got my call and it's a BFN AGAIN. I don't get it I don't understand how we can go through 7 embryos and they all be negatives. Something is going to have to change or get adjusted. The next apt for my RE is the 14th I will start BCP on day 2 and go from there. Any suggestions on what I should suggest to him? I know some of you have done an ERA.

@thucks i'm sorry to hear you got a negative. Did you guys do PGS? I wish I could give you more advice but unfortunately I don't really understand a lot of it myself, especially the "why" embryos don't stick to the wall part. My RE said about 30-50% of the embryos won't because of being chromosomally abnormal. It's so frustrating and I completely think you guys should advocate for yourself with your RE and try to switch the protocol this time if you can. Hugs to you and glad you're trying again.

@thucks While I agree with you, @rainbowwishes5 may not even follow any religion. I do understand her frustration and sensitivity in this matter. I don't want to start any drama, but I feel that maybe the way you put that could come off as aggressive/unsupportive and she has the right to feel what she feels.

Thank you all for the congrats! Overall I have felt a lot support on this board and I'm truly grateful for that and have kept each one of you in my thoughts and prayers. I only posted my update and pic bc I assumed that this board was for celebrating positive results as well as supporting the negative ones! I mean what's the point of being on here if you can't update everyone with your results? understand how some may feel after getting a BFN but I know that after my prior miscarriage I knew several ppl around me friends and family all became preggo with no help at all from fertility specialists and that didn't make me upset with them to see their US photos on Facebook or go to their baby showers bc I was happy for them! It was their time, and now it's my time once again! Prior to that I had went many years without being able to get pregnant before doing IVF. But never would I have shamed anyone for celebrating their pregnancy. I couldn't get preggo for 5 years and threw about 4 baby showers for ppl during that time frame and never gave up that God would bless us when he was ready! best of luck to all of you and thanks again to all of your love and support through this process!

Ok my bloodwork came back and my estradiol was at 835 and progesterone was 10.8. I'm not sure why my estradiol level was so high compared to last cycle (279). They didn't say it was an issue though so I will take it.

krisnjoe Please don't go! I feel similarly to you...I have thrown baby showers (3 this summer) while in the middle of a cp's. I have also been on these boards when others were having BFP's (sometimes so many BFP"s) and I was having BFN after BFN after BFN.
I do get that others might be having a harder time. I don't want to nullify that others might feel differently than me....but I totally am here sharing in your success!

@krisnjoe Just saw your post above mine. Please know that there are so many of us that are excited for your success! For me, in the outside world (work/family/Facebook), it does get challenging at times to always be genuinely excited. I would say for the most part I've been happy/excited for them, but there have been times in this process that it was just so difficult to muster up an enthusiastic or genuine response. However, I feel on this board, we are all going through something that we can all relate to each other on. We are essentially bonded on something that most people have no idea how to understand. For that alone I always feel so thrilled and excited for seeing BFPs here. You ladies have worked so hard, and been through so much, and I feel like one of the end goals (aside from supporting each other), is to see us all have great success!
*Also, I know this is irrelevant, but even though I consider myself Agnostic, I find it comforting when someone shares a verse, or has me in their thoughts and prayers. I have always taken it as a kind and genuine gesture.

@ChocolateIsLife I can't believe how quickly time is going but I'm so glad! I'm sure it will slow down when waiting for our betas lol. When is your beta? No, my clinic just does the one monitoring appointment as long as they are happy with the numbers. I'm sure that is a great level!

My RE's home base is in Indianapolis about 2 hrs away he comes to Illinois once a week to meet with patients in this area. For me it's a 45 min drive the other way to that clinic. So mostly I work with his techs and PA there. The PA called today to give me the bad news. My RE just called me personally at 8pm to check in on my emotional state. I think that's pretty kewl. He said that even though I still have 4 frozen he wants to start from scratch as best as he can. So probably no FET in March he's going to run a bunch of test first. Hopefully on the 14th we will have a great plan.

@emgem819 we didn't do pgs testing. Our family history didn't show a need for it. TW and since we were able to get twins once before he didn't feel it was needed.

@krisnjoe thanks for sharing your good news and pic. I have been trying to conceive for the past 7 years and have had several miscarriages and cps. I feel what is beautiful about this board is that we are able to share our failures and successes. Congrats again and good luck on a healthy pregnancy
Wow I was gone for quite some time and sure had a lot to catch up on!! Happy for the many BFPs. So sad for the BFNs. I honestly took a little infertility break and tried to keep my mind occupied on other things. This wait until ultrasound has been tough on me mentally.

I have my ultrasound tmrw afternoon. So so nervous! I will be 6 weeks and 4 days. Praying we hear at least one heartbeat.

@becauselove Thanks for checking in. I'm doing wonderful! I got my first beta results last night from the RE - - 152!!! Going Wednesday for the 48 hours check. Plan for US on 2/13 if it doubles.
We popped in on my parents last night and surprised them, as much as we could, since my whole family knew what date the test was. They were thrilled. This week have to go tell my In-laws and DH's grandmother.
Thanks for all of your support. I agree with the statements about prayers and thoughts for each of us. This is a sacred time for us all and we voluntarily participate knowing it's tough to hear good news as well as bad news for your fellow IVF sisters.

Prior to that I had went many years without being able to get pregnant before doing IVF. But never would I have shamed anyone for celebrating their pregnancy. I couldn't get preggo for 5 years and threw about 4 baby showers for ppl during that time frame and never gave up that God would bless us when he was ready!

Ok my bloodwork came back and my estradiol was at 835 and progesterone was 10.8. I'm not sure why my estradiol level was so high compared to last cycle (279). They didn't say it was an issue though so I will take it.

@becauselove Thanks for checking in. I'm doing wonderful! I got my first beta results last night from the RE - - 152!!! Going Wednesday for the 48 hours check. Plan for US on 2/13 if it doubles.
We popped in on my parents last night and surprised them, as much as we could, since my whole family knew what date the test was. They were thrilled. This week have to go tell my In-laws and DH's grandmother.
Thanks for all of your support. I agree with the statements about prayers and thoughts for each of us. This is a sacred time for us all and we voluntarily participate knowing it's tough to hear good news as well as bad news for your fellow IVF sisters.

AFM-I just logged into my portal to clear my notifications and my test results showed my Beta was 7.36 so another CP. I don't know if I feel worse or better that I know this.....
