@SwtAnana good luck at your beta tomorrow! Hoping you get strong numbers! For the PIO shots I've found heating up the shot for a few minutes before hand and heating after helps me. But I've never had the itchiness so I'd imagine ice would be the way to go for that.

afm, just going a bit crazy trying not to test until beta on Sunday. I figure if I make it past the morning, then I'm good because I would want to only take the test right in the am. I have moments when I think it definitely worked and other moments when I think it definitely did not.
SwtAnana Good luck! My PIO magic is those hot hands things that instantly heat up...I get the kind that attach to clothes and stick it to my underwear and wear it through the day...and it has kept the soreness at bay...otherwise it gets achy.

Did anyone have achy ovaries the week before the transfer? I woke up with cramps and a dull ache on my right ovary, and I don't remember this the last cycle. I am only on estrogen patches at the moment. Thankfully my scan/bw is tomorrow morning, but I'm nervous that I'm ovulating or something.

Is it weird that I don't really want to have a beta test just in case the transfer didn't take so I can live in ignorance about it? I've been super emotional today and yesterday, and I've been a bit nauseous today, but I'm not sure if it's too early for symptoms or if it's the progesterone. Or it could all be in my head, too..... rant/pity party over

@amanning2011 I feel you on the symptoms! I'm not sure how much of this is related to progesterone or how much of it is in my head. I've been having problems sleeping but I'm not sure of much of it has been anxiety ya know? And I've been STARVING....as in waking up at 2am wanting something to eat. Last night I actually got up at 1:30 to have a snack downstairs until I started feeling sleepy again. oy vey!

I had my heating pad all set to go last night but the shot ended up not being too bad and DH give me a nice gluteal massage afterwards haha
AFM...repeat beta is great! 214...so more than doubled. I feel so incredibly happy and flat out lucky. Doing an ultrasound on 2/2 to make sure it's intrauterine. So now that I'm over the beta scare, I'm now freakin' out about it being an ectopic I imagine my beta rise would not have been so good if it was ectopic???
Today I told my husband that I don't have much of an anxiety problem and he laughed at me. I think he knows me better than I know myself!

@Worldtravler0522 totally feel your pain about the beta nervousness. I think every step of this pregnancy will be me worrying about making it to the next step successfully and it not ending in MC. It's just something you have to keep hopeful about and take day by day! Totally easier said than done but something I'm trying to remind myself to do.

daniella144 That is exciting! It does make it easier when they are all 1 gender. My clinic didn't (until this past week) give out gender information prior to your 1st US. They would like you mention a preference if you had matching quality embryos (we had three 5aa's so we provided a preference...though the day of it seemed like no one remembered that we had provided a preference which made things a little higher stress than I would have liked). As of this week our clinic now gives out that information at CCS Testing result time I guess....they are doing it to be competitive with other clinics that are doing the same.
I POASed like crazy. starting day 4dp5dt..frer's, accuclear, digital blue easy, cheapies etc. 1 day I tested on 4 maybe 5 tests. LOL
And even though I have had good beta's I even tested yesterday just to see the line again.

ChocolateIsLife YEP! It would make all 16 of what I had were fertilized eggs (out of 35+ removed) into humans with rights...even though only 8 made it to blast and only 3 were tested as CCS normal. So in my eyes this would have thrown a ton of road blocks or could have prevented us from getting our BFP if passed. Scary stuff for me.

Worldtravler0522 I SO agree! At least 1 successful pregnancy seems like a reasonable funded by insurance dealo. I mean I have had GREAT insurance the past 5 years cause I thought I might get Ku'd (clearly didn't happen) but none of that GREAT and expensive insurance covered anything IF wise...and honestly aren't covering barely any of my IF meds now that I have a BFP. So still paying 1200 (instead of the 1700) out of pocket every 2 week (a little less than 2 weeks) until they ween me off the meds.

@BecauseLove that is awesome that you had 3 5AA! I went back and forth on wanting to know the sex but since they were all the same it didn't really matter as much. I have heard that some clinics don't give you the sex which I understand that as well. My husband thinks I'm crazy to want to POAS so early but he just doesn't get it! How many days after your transfer did you get your BFP?
daniella144 I got super faint BFP (like total squniters) on FRER 4dp5dt, 5dp5dt, 6dp5dt (they didn't change color all that much). I think I was almost making up the line on 4dp5dt lol. I actually uploaded the photos to the Ovia app so I could track what they looked like along the way.

@SwtAnana I truely think this process makes even the calmest of us anxiety ridden!! I've been POAS pretty much every day analyzing them to make sure they get darker. Thank goodness beta day is Monday...those suckers are expensive lol

@SwtAnana Yay for a great second beta. Unfortunately my last (and
only pregnancy) ended in an ectopic. It is extremely rare so you should not be
worried about it. Not to worry you but just wanting to educate you, beta does
not predict ectopic. My beta started extremely low but rose wonderfully. In
fact at my 7-week ultrasound, my beta was 23,000! The cues that I had an
ectopic were some one-sided pain and bleeding. Please remember that the chance
of an ectopic is 1-2% so very rare. You will be fine!

@BecauseLove @emgem819 thanks for the suggestions ladies! I wear scrubs at work so I can easily hid any weird lumps and bumps that the warm hands would give me so I'll put that in my arsenal. I had my heating pad all set to go last night but the shot ended up not being too bad and DH give me a nice gluteal massage afterwards haha
AFM...repeat beta is great! 214...so more than doubled. I feel so incredibly happy and flat out lucky. Doing an ultrasound on 2/2 to make sure it's intrauterine. So now that I'm over the beta scare, I'm now freakin' out about it being an ectopic
Today I told my husband that I don't have much of an anxiety problem and he laughed at me. I think he knows me better than I know myself!

daniella144 That is exciting! It does make it easier when they are all 1 gender. My clinic didn't (until this past week) give out gender information prior to your 1st US. They would like you mention a preference if you had matching quality embryos (we had three 5aa's so we provided a preference...though the day of it seemed like no one remembered that we had provided a preference which made things a little higher stress than I would have liked). As of this week our clinic now gives out that information at CCS Testing result time I guess....they are doing it to be competitive with other clinics that are doing the same.
I POASed like crazy. starting day 4dp5dt..frer's, accuclear, digital blue easy, cheapies etc. 1 day I tested on 4 maybe 5 tests. LOL

makes even the calmest of us anxiety ridden!! I've been POAS pretty much every day analyzing them to make sure they get darker. Thank goodness beta day is Monday...those suckers are expensive lol
@daniella144 I tried to hold out until 5 dpt but only made it to 4. You'll know when your ready to start.
@SwtAnana Yay for a great second beta. Unfortunately my last (and only pregnancy) ended in an ectopic. It is extremely rare so you should not be worried about it. Not to worry you but just wanting to educate you, beta does not predict ectopic. My beta started extremely low but rose wonderfully. In fact at my 7-week ultrasound, my beta was 23,000! The cues that I had an ectopic were some one-sided pain and bleeding. Please remember that the chance of an ectopic is 1-2% so very rare. You will be fine!
