transfer buddy! My RE did want to move it to 2/7 but I didn’t like the idea of
pushing it back. Let’s hope that February is our month! I won’t have my beta

AFM: Sorry to be a downer on such a happy day, but my second beta was a 3, so definitely a chemical pregnancy. My nurse said they wouldn't change anything about my protocol, so after I get my period I'm going straight into another unmediated FET cycle with a transfer in February.

Hi All! I've been reading this forum for about a week now and decided to jump in. This seems like a great supportive group and would love to join. I'm having my first FET on Jan. 24th. I have 4 PGS embryos and have been deciding between putting one or two embryos in, such a hard decision!

daniella144 You should do whatever is right for you. For me I considered the distance to a Nicu, what resources we had in my community if their were delays etc. We also considered how the pregnancy might be for me. Which helped us decide on just 1. Welcome @daniella144! Good luck next week at your FET. For my first two transfers we only transferred one but this time we did 2 because we didn't do PGS so chances of them being twins was pretty low (10%) but if they were PGS we probably would have just transferred 1 again. I'm sure you'll make a decision that makes sense.
@Worldtravler0522 I'm dying over here too and itching to POAS. Thinking Monday sounds like a good compromise but it seems so far away! We can do it!

I am taking Smarty Pants pnv (gummy ones) which are super easy on my stomach but I just realized they don't have iron in them . Does anyone know if I should supplement with additional iron or switch pnv? I picked these because they have folate instead of folic acid and hitch I need for mthfr.

Just came back from a work party (had another one last night). Last night it was very easy to hide that I wasn't drinking but it was much harder today. The party space today was much smaller ...people were hanging out at the bar so it wasn't exactly going to be discreet to ask for a "rum and coke" without the rum. Luckily I ran into 1 of the bartenders in a quiet corner and explained to her that I wanted it to look like I was drinking. I guess she gets those requests often because I didn't even have to explain that I'm pregnant ....she just had a huge grin on her face and started nodding.
I pointed out my husband too so that she'd know that if he ordered a rum and coke, to leave out the rum! They even remembered to put them in cocktail glasses and garnished them to look alcoholic. No one even suspected a thing
Eagerly waiting to test again to be sure the line is getting darker. I'm excited but can't allow myself to get too carried away with joy until I see appropriately rising betas.

Hooray, I finally have posting privileges! Hello, ladies, and thank you so much for your kind words on my beta result. Extra thanks to @LeFemmeViolette for posting my updates! I have been lurking ever since joining the Bump and am amazed at what a kind and supportive group this is.
To introduce myself, my husband and I did our IVF retrieval on November 18 following 3 failed IUIs earlier in 2016. We had 15 follicles retrieved, 14 were mature, and 8 were successfully fertilized following ICSI. Our plan was to do PGS on all that made it to blast, but as of day 5 we only had 1 blast, so PGS was out the window and I was heartbroken. On day 6, we got a little Thanksgiving Day miracle that 1 more had made it to blast. Fast forward to January, and my doc decided to implant both of our little frosties to maximize chances of a successful implantation. I agreed with the decision but would have loved to hear and digest the news more than a day before my procedure. Seriously, I found out they were doing 2 the morning before. Fun! The procedure went well, and I saw my first verrrry faint positive HPT at 5dp5dt. The line kept getting darker every day, and I was thrilled to have a first beta on Jan. 10 of 366.4. Now I am just anxiously awaiting beta #2 tomorrow morning!

Ok folks so this where I leave you. On Tuesday my only embabies will be implanted and will die. This makes me "mother" to 9 dead children in various forms of development- from arrestmemt, to CP to m/c. That's a lot of loss. Most here don't understand. I don't understand. @rainbowwishes5 don't give up till you're officially counted out! I know it's so much easier said than done especially when you've had that much loss. I've only had two miscarriages and that's two too many so I can only imagine how you're feeling right now. Try not to give into to the fear, you still have a chance. @jodes727 You can get the iron you need from the food you eat, lots of veggies have iron in them If that's not a possibility (totally get it) I'd suggest asking your doctor if there's a supplement they would recommend. I'm lactose intolerant so I'm worried about my calcium intake and my pnv doesn't have calcium in it but it's the only one I've taken that doesn't make me nauseous so I completely understand the position you're in (BTW for the calcium my RE said just to pop Tums every day since heart burn is a common issue in pregnancy anyway lol)

AFM: I'm 7dp5dt today and I took another HPT with FMU to compare to the one I took midday on Friday. The one on Friday was definitely a squinter (the kind that makes you think you are imagining things) ..this one is supppppper faint and maybe just a fraction darker. I thought it'd be much darker so now I'm freaking out about a chemical or ectopic. I guess the point is that it's darker...even if barely so. In a way taking the test has made me more nervous and obsessive. NOw I want to run out and get a couple FRERs to take tomorrow and Tuesday morning In a funky mood now

AFM: Sorry to be a downer on such a happy day, but my second beta was a 3, so definitely a chemical pregnancy. My nurse said they wouldn't change anything about my protocol, so after I get my period I'm going straight into another unmediated FET cycle with a transfer in February.

For me I considered the distance to a Nicu, what resources we had in my community if their were delays etc. We also considered how the pregnancy might be for me. Which helped us decide on just 1. AFM- I'm over here trying to reassure myself that 3 days post transfer I would have zero symptoms yet. Heck depending on the pregnancy some women never get crazy symptoms so I'm trying to talk myself down. I'm planning to POAS Monday.

Eagerly waiting to test again to be sure the line is getting darker. I'm excited but can't allow myself to get too carried away with joy until I see appropriately rising betas.

To introduce myself, my husband and I did our IVF retrieval on November 18 following 3 failed IUIs earlier in 2016. We had 15 follicles retrieved, 14 were mature, and 8 were successfully fertilized following ICSI. Our plan was to do PGS on all that made it to blast, but as of day 5 we only had 1 blast, so PGS was out the window and I was heartbroken. On day 6, we got a little Thanksgiving Day miracle that 1 more had made it to blast. Fast forward to January, and my doc decided to implant both of our little frosties to maximize chances of a successful implantation. I agreed with the decision but would have loved to hear and digest the news more than a day before my procedure. Seriously, I found out they were doing 2 the morning before. Fun! The procedure went well, and I saw my first verrrry faint positive HPT at 5dp5dt. The line kept getting darker every day, and I was thrilled to have a first beta on Jan. 10 of 366.4. Now I am just anxiously awaiting beta #2 tomorrow morning!
TI for 4 cycles: 1 round of femara; 2 rounds femara/ injectables: all ended in BFN.
3 IUI Cycles: letrozole/Follistim with HCG Trigger,all resulted in BFN.

AFM: It's tomorrow!!!! My transfer is tomorrow and I really feel I should be more worried or anxious or something but for some reason I'm not. I made a shirt for myself specifically for the transfer so I'm going to hope that will give us some extra luck, lol. My husband was even able to get the full day off (initially he would have to leave shortly after the transfer for work).

AFM: I'm 7dp5dt today and I took another HPT with FMU to compare to the one I took midday on Friday. The one on Friday was definitely a squinter (the kind that makes you think you are imagining things) ..this one is supppppper faint and maybe just a fraction darker. I thought it'd be much darker so now I'm freaking out about a chemical or ectopic. I guess the point is that it's darker...even if barely so. In a way taking the test has made me more nervous and obsessive. NOw I want to run out and get a couple FRERs to take tomorrow and Tuesday morning
