@Elyse1384 DH and I went to Boston in 2013 (DH grew out his beard through the entire post season) for Game 6. After 2007 we said we would go if we could next time around. We drove the 6 hours from NJ, listening to Shipping up to Boston almost the entire way. We got there around 3pm, headed straight to Fenway and hung out at The Landsdowne. When all was said an done we were there for 22 hours. It was the best thing we've ever done. Seriously, it was a blast. I was covered head to toe in beer and I loved every minute of it. I ran through a tunnel of strangers, heard the Yankees suck chant in a random part of the city. It was everything.
I'm on the hate the Pats train. But my team is Buffalo so I was raised with this hatred. I'm also currently living in Georgia so Go Falcons! We are hosting a super bowl party and I can not wait to stuff my face. Dill pickle dip here I come!!

We often have "dance parties" at home. Play random songs on YouTube and the kids run around like crazy. Wears them out and we can sit on the couch. They are one of my favorite parts of the day.

I'm another Pats hater. I can't stand either Tom Brady or Bill Belichick. I cannot wait until both of them retire. But that said, I just hope it's a good game. I hate watching a slaughter on either direction. Those games to me aren't any fun to watch. I also hope the commercials and the half time show are good.

Today I moved some things around in our bedroom and I took the mattress off and vacuumed under the bed! It was hard work to move that thing! Also there was so much cat hair under the bed I could have made a new cat. I think my vacuum is clogged.
I mentioned that the baby was a boy at lunch at work today. I got the "You husband must be so excited". Like he wouldn't be excited for another girl. I thought her head was going to blow when I responded, "He was hoping for another girl and was disappointed at first, but he has come around to the idea of a boy." Not every man wants a boy and not every woman wants a girl. My husband is more worried about me having an healthy delivery this time and would be happy if I had another dachshund.

My husband will be delighted either way, but he is hoping for a girl this time! But I'm sure he won't be at all upset over another boy. People say the stupidest things to pregnant mothers.
@teacher mom, I get super annoyed by comments like that. We're pregnant with boy #3 and I hear all the time how excited my husband must be. He's actually always wanted a girl. It goes along with the questions about whether or not we're going to try for a girl again. Um, we weren't trying for a girl this time. We were trying for our third baby. I probably shouldn't get bothered by things like that, but it does irk me.
I don't know what all this football stuff is that you're all talking about. I don't know which teams play football vs basketball etc. My husband has no interest in sports either, and I love it! I'm all about some superbowl party food though.

False. Tom Brady is the GOAT. People are just sick of it. And if you need some help....you could watch him get touchdowns all game :-)
@flyingncmama Agreed!!! I hate sports and we never watch them at our house. On my first date with my husband, he actually met my parents and my dad asked him his favorite football team. Hubby said he didn't watch football. That's when I knew he was the guy for me!

FYI - Birds have a really bad record against Patriots. Just ask this Seahawk... I think you might enjoy cheering for the Pats. We are tons of fun!
