Waiting on results from second betas! Call back in two hours they say...TWO HOURS! That feels like 5 years!!
Could be worse...I've seen some ladies wait a day or two! Nybfirst draw was about an hour 45 and the second draw shockingly came back in an hour. Maybe it'll be faster than 2hrs!
@Texafornian I'm trying to be calm and tell myself everything is ok but it's really hard. This is just wrong. Aren't expectant mom's supposed to avoid stress? So why do they not have any compassion for those of us who've had prior losses and get us or lab results in a timely manner? I know I'm being selfish but still...what the hell? It's like a mindf*** sometimes! (And we do that enough to ourselves! We don't need help! Lol)

Ok so talked to the nurse and my hcg levels Wednesday were about 6200 and today were 9600 or something like that. I started to freak because they didn't double and my doctor said "nonono...you're good". Since she doesn't say "you're good" just to make you feel better, I'll stay calm. She did call in the progesterone prescription today & booked me for another early US next wednesday, which will be 6w4d...1 day after the baby stopped growing last time. So please keep your fingers crossed that we make it past this milestone. My levels this time are over 3x what they were with my MMC so I'm hoping it's ok.

@rainafire77 Once the numbers get up around 6,000 they take longer to double (3-4 days) so I wouldn't be worried!
This! They're not going to double as fast as they did in the beginning. I'm feeling good about your pregnancy... Are you a Sunday ticker changer too? I hate the apps that are all different...like i'm 6w on Sunday but then Monday is 6+1 on one site and 6+2 on another. WTF. I'm hoping I get good news and see something positive when I go to the OB on Monday at 6+whateveritis. 1 or 2. lol I'm hoping for a heartbeat but realistic that it could possibly be too early...I knew my ovulation date with DD and she still measured about 4 days behind consistently. SO if this LO is the same and I measure behind...meh on the HB. Thinking they'll have me back again the following week.
@Texafornian Going by my period calender app, I'm 5w6d. Going by Bump I'm 6w today. Since my period app & my doctor tie out, I guess that makes me a Saturday changer! Lol

And @HollyGolightly09 & @Texafornian thank you for talking me down off the PGAL ledge. I just started thinking "Not again" immediately but between you guys and GOOD Google research i saw I was normal. And I know I implanted around 10-12 dpo based on the fact that I had a BFN 11dpo but a nice squinter at 14dpo. (I didn't test at 12 or 13 dpo just because I didn't want to discourage myself.)

My numbers doubled earlier this week and I have an ultra sound scheduled for 7 weeks. Still nervous like many of you. Last time my baby had a heartbeat at 6w6d but was measuring behind and the heartbeat was slow and had no heart beat at 8. I keep feeling like if I can make it 8 wks and have a good heartbeat it will be better.
@Sugargirl1019 I had cramps too this time around. Rest, hydrate, take some Tylenol. Tylenol PM if you can. I ended up taking Ativan 2 days for mine. If you aren't on progesterone yet, ask for some from the on-call physician.

My first real ultrasound is on Wednesday and I feel like time is going so slow. I just want information, where my baby is measuring, and to see if my baby is okay.
Hi all. Had an us yesterday (6 weeks 5 days) and the doctor said he thought he saw something but couldn't get details or see a heartbeat. I was sent to the main hospital for a more detailed us. The radiologist called me after looking at it and said there's something there, but it's small and no heartbeat. He said its suspicious, and to prepare myself for another failed pregnancy. It's starting to hit me-- this would be my 3rd in a row. My question is this: if I do MC, what happens next? I know many of you have had fertility treatments- can you shed light on what that entails? I will ask my dr everything but know you ladies have experience and insight as well. I woke up sobbing at the realization of how much longer this road may be for me, when I was so hopeful this was "it"
@eahayes I am so sorry hon. I think I recognize you from either TTGP or TTCAL boards. I had my 3rd loss in 2 years in October. By November I had my referral from my primary care provider to advanced reproduction. I had my consult, then had to wait for the next cycle in December to begin testing.
Oh @eahayes I'm so sorry you're being put through this...did the docs tell you what the measurement was? Are you sure of your dates etc? Hopefully that "something there" grows! A friend of mine measured WAY off and similarly to you, was told to prepare to MC as well...then strangely and miraculously, baby caught up andnumbers started growing. She's now 4m pregnant and on track. Not to say this will be your case but some times the world can work in mysterious ways. No info to give regarding fertility doctors etc but sending you a big virtual hug.
@eahayes oh man. All my thoughts and prayers to you! i really do hope that you just ovulated late (not many people O on cd 14, which is what lmp dating is based on) so if your lmp dating is wrong then your LO could actually just be too young to have a heartbeat / be bigger yet. I really do hope that for you.

Puked while brushing my teeth this morning, thank God I moved my toothbrush in time. But in other news, my Uncle called me to tell me he's stopping by this afternoon on his way back from TX to Jacksonville...first I was not expecting visitors and my house is a mess and I am at work. 2nd, I'm going to have to figure out a way to explain why I'm not drinking wine with him as we don't plan on telling people until after the 1st trimester.
@lahearn18 tell him you're just finishing up an antibiotic for a tummy bug you had and can't drink for a few more days. Flagyl is a good one...if you drink while on it it'll make you violently ill. You actually have to be off of it 48h so it's out of your system before drinking.

Yes! I have my first US on Wednesday too! Mine is in the afternoon and I know Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are going to drag! Mine is at a radiology place so I know they're not even going to tell me much and I'll have to wait until my OB appt the following Wednesday. The waiting game is the worst! I guess pregnancy teaches you patience if anything else lol
@eahayes I'm so sorry you are going through this. Hopefully things will work out and you just ovulated late.
As far as next steps for IF treatment are concerned, they will generally start with hormone testing. My doctor also did an US of the ovaries that same initial visit. Usually your SO will be asked for a semen sample as well to rule out any issues on his end. You may have an HSG done to check your uterus shape and fallopian tubes to ensure that if you are given fertility drugs the eggs will be able to get to the right place. If fertility drugs are prescribed (such as Clomid or Femara), my doctor's office did a 3-6 month period of waiting to see if the drugs worked before suggesting IUI or IVF.

Luckily he texted me saying hes making really good time so hes just gonna drive thru. Whew.
You guys please be in prayer for my brother and his girlfriend, she was 20 weeks and was in a serious car accident this morning, the baby didn't make it and she's been in surgery for a splenectomy and is currently on the ventilator
