@BecauseLove Thank you! That website is helpful. I will look at the photo of my embryo and compare tonight. My clinic doesn't give out embryo grades - all I've been told is that my embryos all look "great." I also did the sensible thing and reached out to my clinic to ask about whether it was already hatched via assisted hatching. I love grades and wish my clinic would give me them!

@SingleGeneMe My clinic only gives us grades when the retrieval is done. Once they are frozen they say that it's an even playing field and just tell me if the one or ones I'm thawing looks great or what. I'm trying to find what grades I have but I can't find em. Edit: Found them I had 5 day 2-3AA 1-2AA 2-2BA 2- 2BB 6 day 2-4BA and a 3BB. I've used up 5 of the 5day's so far. @mtpbadger ahh looking back at our old boards we have been in together the majority of the gals on the March/April IVF board are due this month or next. So I'm over here symptom spotting and driving myself nuts. Been having mild cramping on and off since transfer, and today for the first time I had some pinkish spotting. Hoping this could be implantation bleeding, but doesn't it seem to be a bit late (on 7dp5dt)?

I'm trying soooo hard not to analyze every little thing. I had some cramping the past few days a little queasiness here and there but nothing today. I texted my hubby saying I just want to feel nauseous! Lol! Are you holding out till beta?

Just FYI y'all my IVF and freezing was 8 yrs ago and back then the technology was not advanced enough and grading was not done! Also grading wasn't done in 2011 during my 2nd IVF. So I have no grading from either batch. They are all rated "good", "fair", and "poor". They did this for the outer part and the inner part of each, both of mine were rated good/good today.
just in case some of you didn't know that grading is actually a fairly new part of RE science and fertility!!! Luck to all of you who are getting the grading and know exactly what you are getting!

I got my second lining check today and...we are good to go! 8.3 and trilaminar! No bw at myb clinic so here's hoping is enough. Transfer is Monday afternoon! Oh and I get to start Endometrin suppositories and PIO tonight.

@lefemmeviolette if it makes you feel any better I had significant spotting up to day 6 after my transfer (and I had a 6 day blast). I was worried about the timing of it and actually called my RE office. The doc on call said even though it was later than I would have thought, it was likely implantation bleeding. So it might actually be a good sign! Have you POAS yet?

@BecauseLove I feel fairly calm about this 2ww. It's not nearly as nerve-wracking as waiting for the genetic results during both egg retrievals. It's kind of weird, because I've never tried to get pregnant in my whole life or ever thought I was pregnant, so it's the first time it could ever be true. I want to be negative about it, so that I don't get disappointed, but I can't help but feel really positive and loving towards my embryo.

@vic311I was REALLY tempted to test earlier this week when I was having a bunch of symptoms, but now that I'm not having any, I think I'll hold off. I know not having symptoms doesn't mean anything, but it still worries me, especially since I had been having some (queasiness; sore boobs; cramps) and I've had several CPs before. I was feeling really positive about it working this time up until yesterday and now all the negative thoughts have started. I'm terrified that since I've been thinking SO positively, a negative is just going to be that much more crushing next week and I'd rather not stress about getting a negative on a HPT before then. Whatever will be, will be at this point and there's nothing I can do to change it, so I'm just going to continue in my blissfully ignorant state that I'm pregnant and will remain pregnant until the call on Tuesday.

@joslynj11 I felt the same way as this was my third transfer. I think we all get a little anxious as there is so much riding on it. Staying positive can be tough, especially with previous failures, but I think I have done a better time this round in trying to stop any negative thoughts and just trust that it has to work eventually. I am hoping and praying that third time is the charm for us!

Looking for thought some thoughts. My last fet cycle was canceled due to thin lining. So I've been very nervous about it this round. Last week when I went in for my lining check it was above an eight. I went in this morning, one week out from my transfer, and it looks like some of it has gone down. They were able to measure anywhere between 7.8 and 8.8 and had all three layers visible. My RE is a little bit stumped as to why some would go down. She gave me two options. The first option is to proceed ahead with our transfer on Thursday. The second option is to not proceed ahead and instead do a biopsy of my uterus and send that into the lab to go see if it is at a receptive point. The biopsy comes with additional costs, of course and we are all out of pocket. She said she would be more than comfortable with me moving forward with either option. I was hoping she would be leaning towards one or the other, but she said truthfully it is completely up to us. My husband and I are leaning towards moving forward with the transfer next week. Anyone have any similar experiences or thoughts?
Hi everyone. I have what feels like a lot of tightening on my uterus this AM. It's not cramps as I've been preggo 4 other times---it just feels like tightening! My last transfer was in 2011 so I'm not remembering if this is normal. Is that normal after transfer? Was thinking it could just be soreness from the transfer yesterday bc isn't it a bit to early to be signs of implantation? Not trying to overreact here or get myself excited so looking for other possible reasons I guess.
@jodes727 frustrating that this is happening. I had that test (it's called ERA) and so did a few other girls on this discussion. Honestly, although it SUCKS to be delayed, I would do the biopsy. My test came back receptive, so we did not get any new information from the test. However, research is showing that the "scratch" from the biopsy may help with implantation- and what do you know, I am now pregnant with the FET following my biopsy! @vic311 can give you specifics but after her ERA test came back NOT receptive, she made changes to her meds and it's now pregnant for the first time too! I'm not sure how many frosties you have left, but this test might be able to really help you (and if it doesn't, the scratch from the biopsy just might!). It's a big decision but wanted to give you my opinion!

SingleGeneMe This has to be an extra exciting time for you. I would say enjoy it...don't let fear or doubt muddle it. There is only 1 time to experience a 1st and why not just enjoy it rather than prepare yourself for the whatif...the whatif could very well be a BFP.

Also- if I were you my mind would say biopsy and my heart would say transfer. From my pov it's easy for me to advise you to go with the biopsy but it's all what you feel most positive about. AFM: Thanks again everyone for the well wishes. I'm at home getting pampered by my husband. He had already planned to work from home this week because of the transfer, so I'm really lucky that he is in town. The surgeon was amazed that my gallbladder was still in my body. He said it had severe scar tissue as well as gallstones, and that I have been dealing with this for a while. I have had stomach issues since i was 21, but I always associated it with endometriosis, since it causes stomach issues as well. Maybe things will be different now. No update from my clinic yet. I left a voicemail. I'm going to meet with the doc next week though. I have a lot to get off my chest. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!! And FX for everyone pre and post transfer!!!

@lefemmeviolette fingers crossed it is implantation bleeding! Or are you on any suppositories? If so that could be causing irritation of the cervix and spotting. I hear you on the symptom spotting. I'm trying soooo hard not to analyze every little thing. I had some cramping the past few days a little queasiness here and there but nothing today. I texted my hubby saying I just want to feel nauseous! Lol! Are you holding out till beta?

@vic311I was REALLY tempted to test earlier this week when I was having a bunch of symptoms, but now that I'm not having any, I think I'll hold off. I know not having symptoms doesn't mean anything, but it still worries me, especially since I had been having some (queasiness; sore boobs; cramps) and I've had several CPs before. I was feeling really positive about it working this time up until yesterday and now all the negative thoughts have started. I'm terrified that since I've been thinking SO positively, a negative is just going to be that much more crushing next week and I'd rather not stress about getting a negative on a HPT before then. Whatever will be, will be at this point and there's nothing I can do to change it, so I'm just going to continue in my blissfully ignorant state that I'm pregnant and will remain pregnant until the call on Tuesday.

Looking for thought some thoughts. My last fet cycle was canceled due to thin lining. So I've been very nervous about it this round. Last week when I went in for my lining check it was above an eight. I went in this morning, one week out from my transfer, and it looks like some of it has gone down. They were able to measure anywhere between 7.8 and 8.8 and had all three layers visible. My RE is a little bit stumped as to why some would go down. She gave me two options. The first option is to proceed ahead with our transfer on Thursday. The second option is to not proceed ahead and instead do a biopsy of my uterus and send that into the lab to go see if it is at a receptive point. The biopsy comes with additional costs, of course and we are all out of pocket. She said she would be more than comfortable with me moving forward with either option. I was hoping she would be leaning towards one or the other, but she said truthfully it is completely up to us. My husband and I are leaning towards moving forward with the transfer next week. Anyone have any similar experiences or thoughts?

krisnjoe Sorry...no clue. I am doing a bit of my own symptom spotting over here. I have been starving and have been exhausted...but I also added in more estrogen so I think that could be culprit. So far no BFP on the pee sticks for me. 3dp5dt
jodes727 I am sorry...thats a hard choice. We only have 3 embryos so I might be compelled to wait if I was in your situation...but at the same time hard to make yourself wait longer after we all have already waited so long.
mtpbadger Glad your finding ways to stay positive. I keep trying to just keep moving forward with joy...but sometimes the naggy side of me comes in and is like don't get to excited or to hopeful.
Joslynj11 That is a lot to be processing. So much of this process can be disappointing it is hard to get excited and stay positive. But we are here for you and know that I believe this is your time!
SingleGeneMe This has to be an extra exciting time for you. I would say enjoy it...don't let fear or doubt muddle it. There is only 1 time to experience a 1st and why not just enjoy it rather than prepare yourself for the whatif...the whatif could very well be a BFP.

@jodes727 4.8 is the thickness- not quite there yet and a poopy type 1 lining. But I still have 11-12 days to transfer So things can turn around for me. Also- if I were you my mind would say biopsy and my heart would say transfer. From my pov it's easy for me to advise you to go with the biopsy but it's all what you feel most positive about. Gl and fx to you.

@APM_SLP thanks for the response. I remember reading the post for Nov/Dec about the ERA. That is awesome that so many have had positives after the biopsy. I went back and reread it again, and it was helpful!
@Joslynj11 I am in the same boat with the anxious feeling. I truy do feel much more positive looking ahead, but it's hard not to let the negative/anxious feelings in. Good luck!!

Lower estrogen level 207 (wanted above 300 but over 200 was acceptable), started 1 estrace, progesterone in oil every other day, vivelle dot patches 4 every other day, 3x estrodiol daily, vitamin cocktail. AFM: Thanks again everyone for the well wishes. I'm at home getting pampered by my husband. He had already planned to work from home this week because of the transfer, so I'm really lucky that he is in town. The surgeon was amazed that my gallbladder was still in my body. He said it had severe scar tissue as well as gallstones, and that I have been dealing with this for a while. I have had stomach issues since i was 21, but I always associated it with endometriosis, since it causes stomach issues as well. Maybe things will be different now. No update from my clinic yet. I left a voicemail. I'm going to meet with the doc next week though. I have a lot to get off my chest. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!! And FX for everyone pre and post transfer!!!
