I'm 5 weeks, 6 days pregnant. I don't remember being quite so miserable with my first pregnancy. Right now I am tired all the time and I seem to have headaches nearly every single day. It is taking a lot out of me to just clean and do my general housework. In general I try to avoid medication but I took a couple Tylenol this morning and hopefully it helps. I haven't thrown up at all but I have had some nausea.
I also have fibrocystic breasts and have a painful lump in my armpit. Before it used to swell and get painful near my period and it would shrink and get better after my period but this time it has enlarged and stayed swollen and painful. I plan on asking my obgyn to take a look at it just be safe.
I have also been fighting a very mild cold for a few weeks. Lol. I'm hoping it's all downhill from here!
I forgot, sensitivity to smells!! I swear it has been the weirdest thing. The other day all I did was put a tiny bit of hairspray in my hair. And I swore all day long that I smelled like I sprayed a can of Raid all over myself. I even had a couple coworkers confirm for me that I did not truly smell like bug spray! Lol.

New symptom for me.... round ligament pain. I felt it all week if I move suddenly but just now when I sneezed it hurt so bad for a few seconds. I don't remember having this so early in my other pregnancies I thought it was normally towards the end... But this is no figment of my imagination it is painful!

This! I've had this for the last two weeks or so. I googled it several times too. I didn't get them until much later in my first pegnancy.
So far just some lower back pain for me. I'm not exhausted yet but I know it's coming! I'm 4+2 so I'm still early on. With DS I had barely any symptoms other than being tired so fingers crossed I skip the morning sickness this time as well.
I've also been really cold. Didn't think anything of it until this thread since it's freezing here! DH says he's warm inside though so maybe it's a weird symptom!
Okay you guys I've got a super important question. I'm 5 weeks today, and for some reason I decided to check my cervix.. it feels open? It was closed tight around when I found out I was pregnant, about 11DPO. Not it feels slightly lower, a little harder and open? I haven't had any spotting or anything but I'm a little worried...
@koomy56 this is my second but I had a c-section with my first and I only dilated to a 4/5 before the c-section.
Well, it might be a good question for your doctor. It's probably one of those things that gets us nervous unnecessarily but a call to the doc could ease your mind!
I'm definitely going to ask her about it. I wish my appointment wasn't so far away, it makes me even more nervous that our appointment isn't until 2/16
I'm now having muscle spasms under/below my ribs upper left abdomen it is beyond annoying. From what dr google says it's normal hopefully it lets up soon
Does anyone else have cramping or have had cramping in a previous pregnancy? I've read that it's likely normal as long as there isn't bleeding, which I have not had any (and no spotting) but it has been making me nervous. I am a little over 6 weeks. I had little light cramping here and there earlier on, but did have much since. Now since Saturday night I have had fairly consistent on and off cramping that feels pretty comparable to period cramps, which is why I am nervous...
@ellemnop90 cramping in early pregnancy is very normal, and like you said should only be of concern if severe or accompanied by bleeding. I am having those cramps too and having had a loss previously I keep checking the tp for blood but cramps alone are normal
@ellemnop90 definitely normal. I've been told staying well hydrated and drinking lots of water helps and that seems to work for me. Also just sitting down for a few minutes and taking it easy until they pass. Agree they are definitely nerve-wracking though!

Sore boobs with visible veins. Mood swings. And discharge like crazy...which is unfortunate because I'm PGAL so when I feel it, I wonder if it's something else.
Nausea and food aversions. Minor abdominal twinges that I would not call cramps bit feel more like gas bubbles. Super tired but can't sleep comfortably. I get hot and then cold. Plus my back is sore. I have my body pillow but that did not help last night!

Wondering when morning sickness will hit, which is a source of anxiety for me, since it's not like I "want" it but after my loss last fall I long for every form of assurance in the way of symptoms; I know that six weeks is generally when it hits. Since I tend to have a sensitive stomach to begin with (and motion sickness has always been a thing for me), I wonder if that means I'm guaranteed to have nausea when pregnant? Probably not 100%, but it's still stressful...
4wks 4days. My nipples have just started to get really sensitive & occasional light cramps here. This is my 4th pregnancy (all previous ones ended in MC) and I usually have more symptoms by now, so maybe this is a sign of a sticky baby!
It's good I don't feel bad but not having many symptoms is always nerveracking. I'm super tired and in the morning if I don't eat right away then I will feel nauseous. That's it for right now. I'm 5 weeks 3 days.
@satuttle1014 I have spent some time panicking that symptoms sometimes disappear, too (5w5d). I am trying to just stay calm and be thankful for feeling well, but of course that is so much easier to say than to do! Good luck!
Est 6w2d from ov/bd... 7w2d from LMP... at first I had no symptoms, and now I have A.L.L. the symptoms. Wake me up when first tri's over. Pretty sure it's *gotta* be twins. Worst symptom: Can't. Poop.

Anyone having sudden shots of vaginal pain? I remember experiencing third trimester "lightning crotch" with my first child, but I don't remember having anything like it this early.
Anyone having aversions to smell, but not food-related? I've changed the soap by the sink three times in the past week bc the fragrances have all started to bother me! I am not sensitive to perfume yet but I'm noticing the smell of cut, fragrance-free flowers (in a vase) and it's not pleasant; I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have noticed the flowers before... sad, bc I don't want to throw them out! :-0
No symptoms yet at 4w other than peeing more than usual. With DS i found out at 5weeks and by that point i was just starting the naseau. Im expecting the same this time around
All day queasy feeling, tired, bloated and peeing more. Exact way I felt with my DS. Oh except horrible heartburn that lasted for 24 hours and I thought I would die. I took everything on the approved medication list. I hope that doesn't happen again! Edit: 6w3day

- vivid dreams
- faster heart rate/more easily winded
- maybe a bit more tired than usual
No nausea yet, but I read that's more common after 6 weeks, so I suppose I'll count myself lucky to have avoided it so far!
