im hoping I can join you all. I am starting my FET protocol in the next day or so and hoping to transfer around 1/20. This will be my first FET after my IVF cycle in 2015.
I don't remember it from Oct when I was prepping for our FET, but my goodness, Lupron is making me sweat/hot flashes like crazy this time around! But no headaches, so I'm thankful for that. I also started patches this am.
Looking foward to rininging in the New Year tonight with friends and family. Here's to a wonderful 2017!

They mean well but they can't seem to get the concept that sometimes an I'm sorry is the best thing they can offer at the moment. When will you get your test results back?

I haven't been very active on the boards the last couple weeks. We got a second opinion with another RE and have decided to switch care to her so my 1/20 transfer is canceled with my old clinic. When we received our medical records we found out we likely had 3 chemical pregnancies. For the one we didn't know about our beta was 4.8 (and technically negative since it was <5) She said it wouldn't have been that number if there wasn't a very early loss. We are seeking insurance approval for a recurrent loss panel and possibly do a mock cycle to test the timing for the lining. She plans to do autoimmune protocol with some other injectable blood thinners instead of the baby aspirin I'm used to. My head is just spinning. We only have 2 frozen embryos left so this transfer is going to be our last shot. We are almost at the lifetime insurance "infertility" limit for treatments and we don't have the funds to do an out of pocket IVF cycle to try again, and given our circumstances I don't know that it would even be a good idea if we could.
I wish you all baby dust for your January transfers and I hope to see none of you when I join the February or March transfer group

@LeFemmeViolette they are only 6cb and 4ab and I don't have the PGS results yet. I don't think they are fantastic blasts. They seem pretty poor quality. So I am having a terrible new year. I only just woke up because I had to take so many anti-anxiety pills to help me sleep. Yesterday was one of the maybe top whatever worst days in my life. I feel like I did when my dad died. I don't have good feelings abt these blasts at all. and I'm not going to be good company for a while I'm sure....

Getting ready for Tuesday ultrasound and blood work...sounds like we have bad weather coming this way for the next 3 days...hoping it doesn't impact my 2 hour drive to and back from the obgyn ...they also have to get my results (which hopefully can be shared over the phone or Internet) to my RE who is 2 1/2 hours further away from my obgyn. Hoping all is well and goes smoothly.

got my call today that my transfer is at 12:15 on Tuesday! I'm getting so excited and nervous!! I have a question regarding pineapple core. For those of you who have done it before, how the hell do you eat it? Last time I tried I couldn't chew it well enough to even begin to think about swallowing it. Like it didn't breakdown! Maybe I had a bad pineapple? Thoughts?

@APM_SLP GL! That is so exciting! I usually get the pineapple that is whole but "peeled" and cored in a plastic container. The core has been easy to cut and chew (although not pleasant). Maybe you got a bad pineapple? Not sure where you are, but they are likely all out of season for us!

@APM_SLP I'm having slightly different symptoms from my last unsuccessful FET. Last time I pretty much had zero symptoms after day two. This time, I've had mild but consistent cramps for the past three days. I had a tiny amount of spotting this am, which has had my head spinning. I'm all over the place about what that could mean, good or bad. Ever since this morning I've been super emotional and weepy, which isn't like me. I guess I'm just really scared about the "what it's".
I never ever have PMS type symptoms with my regular cycle. No cramps or headaches or moodiness, etc. so I guess if I have pregnancy symptoms, I would imagine they would also be very mild. Does anyone else typically have no PMS symptoms with their monthly cycle?

@vic311 thank you! Those symptoms all sound really positive! I didn't have any symptoms or cramping with my fresh transfer, which was a CP. I think it was bc my hcg was so low. And then of course definitely zero symptoms with my BFN. Will you test at home?

@rainbowwishes5 From what I understand, embryo grading and PGS results are not mutually exclusive. Meaning, sure, they may not physically look ideal, but that is secondary to whether or not they come back PGS normal.
You do, however, have every right to feel angry, cheated, and pissed off. This whole infertility thing is a very scary crapshoot. None of it is fair and all the times we're forced to wait for results is enough to drive a person nuts.
Hang in there. We're with you.

I wish you all baby dust for your January transfers and I hope to see none of you when I join the February or March transfer group

got my call today that my transfer is at 12:15 on Tuesday! Thoughts?

I never ever have PMS type symptoms with my regular cycle. No cramps or headaches or moodiness, etc. so I guess if I have pregnancy symptoms, I would imagine they would also be very mild. Does anyone else typically have no PMS symptoms with their monthly cycle?

From what I understand, embryo grading and PGS results are not mutually exclusive.
