How far along are you? 19 weeks!
Sex of Baby? This little squirt is a girl!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? This is a tough one...I haven't been super thrilled about the pregnancy thing this go around. But I think it would have to be talking to my son about his impending new little sister. Some of the things he says are so hilarious...example: I was wearing a bird sweater a few days ago and he pointed at the bird and said "birdie is friends with baby sister!" ADORABLE.
How far along are you? 19 weeks (Wow)
Sex of Baby? (saw this on the Monday ticker and thought it was a prime time to add it!) Baby boy #2
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? I guess that it has been pretty similar to my previous although everything happening a bit earlier. I keep thinking this may be my last which is making me a bit sad because I haven't been focused on it as much. Maybe when I have my big beach ball belly again I will. I really enjoyed that the last time. I also am really enjoying how excited H is and how he gets S into it. He's only 16 months so not sure how much he understands but when he points to my belly and we tell him there's a baby in there, he smiles. He'll also kiss it.

That's awesome that your son knows what's going on. So cool he's gonna have a little sis. I'm quite excited mine will have a built in buddy so close in age.

GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? nothing right now.
Sex of Baby? Scan is scheduled for the 30th! I am certain it is a boy.
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? This is a hard one. I feel everything is so muted this time around. Last time everything was a first, so very exciting. Getting a positive test may be the best part so far. Actually, maybe my favorite part is that it is more muted this time around. The excitement and pressure last time got to me and would make me very nervous. DS was the first grandchild for both sides, so it was a constant topic of conversation. Because we went through it once already, we get to skip a lot of the probing conversations with family which is nice.

Yesterday was our anatomy scan
Sex of Baby? (saw this on the Monday ticker and thought it was a prime time to add it!)
Just found out yesterday we are having a BOY!
General symptoms, heartburn, headaches, sore back, all worth it though
So happy we got to see a healthy little baby yesterday at the anatomy scan. It was amazing to see all the detail they can pick up and even more amazing to see everything measuring perfectly! Saw both hands and both feet along with the brain and heart, just simply amazing! Our little one has his back facing out so the first thing we saw right off the bat was his spine!
Only rant is that my doctor told me I have a low lying placenta, it is not previa, but close. She said she isn't recommending pelvic rest unless I have more spotting, which I haven't had thankfully in months! She said that is why I probably had some early spotting as well.
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far?
That is has been mostly uneventful, with just one or two spotting episodes, my last with the MMC was hectic from the start. Other than that probably just being able to finally see my tummy grow and know that I am growing our little baby.

GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? I love the surprised look people get when they see my (1 year old) baby and I tell them I have another one on the way.
@mrsrep123 I would definitely ask them at your next scan, I have heard a lot of women who have anterior placentas say the movement is muffled. Mine is posterior but I haven't felt that many distinct kicks and that is probably due to him facing my spine instead!
@louise_blecher I hear you on the prying questions! It isn't the first grandbaby for my parents, my brother has 2, but it is for DH's parents and may be the only since his brother and wife don't want children. I know they are excited but sometimes I have to be like step back a little.
@mrsfox2008 congrats on the baby girl!

Sex of Baby? (saw this on the Monday ticker and thought it was a prime time to add it!) we find out next Friday!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? Seeing my belly grow makes it seem more real now. I'm really looking forward to feeling kicks, but I have an anterior placenta so it may take a little longer.

Sex of baby? Girl!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? Even though I just complained about this above, I do like that I'm showing earlier. I didn't need maternity clothes with my first pregnancy until the halfway point. Having a little bump earlier helps the pregnancy seem more real to me.
Sex of Baby? Boy! I had convinced myself it was going to be a girl, so I was completely shocked (and still thrilled of course) when she told us it's a boy!
GTKY: What's been your favorite thing about pregnancy this far? This is my first pregnancy, so every new sensation and ultrasound has been amazing to me. My favorite thing so far has been when I began feeling him move.
@Kipperoo so sweet! It always melts my heart to hear my nieces/nephew talk about the baby, I can't imagine how sappy I'd be if it was my kid!
@MrsFox2008 I haven't signed up for any classes yet, but I plan to just for my own peace of mind.
@lilylover27 My placenta is low-lying, too, but my OB doesn't seem too concerned about it at this stage. I'm wondering if it's shifted anteriorly though because the baby's movements seem more muted ( @Louise_Belcher I couldn't figure out how to describe to my OB today - but that's it!) over the last week or so.
