Update: I really wanted more than one follicle for IUI 2 but looks like just one again. Today's monitoring showed one at 18.6 and one at 12. Well, at least my lining was at 9; last cycle the highest I saw before triggering was 7.5. I'm totally stoked about that. Triggering tonight. Back to back IUIs tomorrow and Sunday.

Question on back to back IUIs: how does it work? I mean, the day after the LH surge and the following day? Or the day of the LH surge and the next day? I'm wondering because my RE never mentioned back to back.
I'm not sure about timing as it relates to LH surge. Our RE does the IUIs 12 and 36 hours after trigger (I don't think they test LH surge). I know I had a negative opk the afternoon before my trigger. Hope this helps!

Just posted an intro but seeing as it looks like we'll be doing our first IUI in December, wanted to join you all here - hi!
Baseline US this morning, started metformin today. Will start clomid on Tuesday and go in on Wednesday for HSG test. Back in for monitoring on 12/20. Feeling pretty crappy from the metformin and still a little confused by the process, but am starting to get the lingo down so that's a plus, right?

UGHHHHH. So discouraged this cycle. Went in Saturday for mid cycle ultrasound and had 2 nice follicles but only measuring at 15.5ish. Went back in today and they are only 18ish. Not sure why they are so slow growing this cycle- I've never had that issue before. I did have a really short LP last cycle which has NEVER happened before so I am wondering if all that is related. I can't help but be negative Nancy about the whole thing and feel like it's a sign it won't work. The ladies at my RE were really nice to me about it and said to take it as a good sign- that a lot of times they see the cycles that work are the ones that are out of the norm!
I'm sorry @JDW0325. You're not out, so that's good news. When do you trigger? And IUI?
AFM, I'm yet again disappointed. CD27, 2 rounds of clomid, 1 round of Gonal-f, and still nothing. My RE wants to bump my gonal up, but i'm getting low on funds with the holidays. My debate is to cancel this month and wait until my Healthcare FSA renews in January or start putting all this $$ on a credit card. Keep in mind, my gonal is OOP. What would you do??

Slow growing isn't necessarily bad - it's how I started getting good quality follicles! Fx for you this cycle!!!
@hopetobeashraderfamily - sorry to hear that - such a hard decision around this time, money is so tight for everyone. I was always getting bumped, literally everyday on the last cycle. @hopetobeashraderfamily --- I'd personally go for it, but I have absolutely no patience. Does the doctor think there's a good chance you'll respond well with another round? Any risks? Any chance they'd switch up the meds if the gonal didn't do the trick?
@JDW0325@juliebeannn --- Let's hope a month of 'disappointing cycles' is our lucky charm. Like JWatt said, sometimes out of the ordinary is a good thing. Especially since the ordinary hasn't been doing so well!
AFM --- had a day 8 ultrasound and I'm ready to go! However, only have one large folli, which I wasn't too happy with. I usually have ~3 at 16+17+21ish. This time I had one 21 and the next was only ~10. So we'll see.

Hey ladies! Jealous of those linings @juliebeannn@JDW0325!!! Mine was only at 5.5 two days before IUI. It's got time, but still 9.1 is AWESOME!
Just finished my 4th IUI, and I have to say I'm feeling pretty good. I have no idea why, but I woke up today feeling like it was a big day. I've never felt like that before and it probably means absolutely nothing - but it's nice for today at least.
DH's results came back amazing (and surprising) yet again, 60M count and 59% motility. Way better than what we've had before.
Really loving my clinic today too, my doctor was so sweet came in the room and said "Alright, now let's get you pregnant". When I asked my nurse for a prescription in case I had to start a cycle over the holidays she said "absolutely not, you won't be needing that" (of course she handed it over afterwards). LOL
Sometimes this experience can get you down and whatever happens, I'm just very grateful today.

I'm jealous and down, my clinic didn't want to let me do an IUI this month (even without meds!) because it will be around Christmas and they want time off....even if officially they are not closed...:(

Here's to positive thinking!
HSG Dec 2016 - all clear
TTC since 2012
May 2016 - IF diagnosis
Nov 2016 - first RE consult
Dec 2016 - IUI #1 - TBD
Me - all clear, DH - initially low SA, with 1% morph. Now A+ SA (increase from 10M to 60M).
