@kjd291 I so agree the holidays are going to be so much fun with all the yummy food and not having to worry as much about what I eat because I have an excuse. The fact that we can wear stretchy stuff makes it all the much better.
I'm just hoping that my MS doesn't act up that day because I am really looking forward to it.
so... why does the pregnant one have to always wake up with the early rising toddler?? I try to be gracious to my husband... I know he works really hard too, but damn I need some sleep!
@kjd291 I feel like that sometimes whenever our dog wakes us up! I'm always the one to get up with him in the morning or in the middle of the night if he starts barking or acting like he needs to go outside. DH says it's practice for baby (for me, apparently, since he never gets up for the dog) so I don't envision things changing once our son arrives haha... Hope you can catch a nap later or get some rest today!!
@serenity13 oh no!! I'm sorry you already have "practice" with the puppy! surprisingly enough I got more sleep in the newborn stage than I do now. So don't let people scare you! Yes, you usually have to wake up more often to feed and/or change. But you get to go back to bed And I did lots of sleeping in! Now, 5am on the dot! No changing her mind!
@Gators&BoSox Definitely!!! I've already told him this time around is gonna be VERY different. Two kids = two parents. If I'm up all night nursing, he gets the toddler wake ups!

thats me all the time I always wake up with my toddler he always gets to stay in bed and sleep. My mom lives with me and I could send him in with my mom whose an early riser but I feel guilty. I work every other weekend so he's home with the kids but he stil doesn't get up my mom does (because she spoils him). With that said I think that my new little one will also be an early riser he's up and kicking very forcefully early morning around 5-6am every day like clock work.

Ugh I away know that's not gonna happen. My husband just can't function when woken up in the middle of the night. I've accepted it.
@longliveregina -- sadly yes, this is us too. I meant he gets toddler wake ups, as in when she's not sleeping in he gets to wake up earlier than me. The middle of the night ones are all me. DH is NOT a night person: he does not remember anything the next day. He is completely out of it, so no way he's able to handle babies. I was fine with doing 100% of nights with DD, so we'll see how I handle baby two!
Speaking of sleep. Is 7:45 too early to go to bed? Cuz that's totally happening right now. Night ladies

It's a good thing I did go to sleep early, though did read for a bit, because per usual, DH somehow got me to Be the one to wake up early with DD again even though we agreed Sunday would be my one day to sleep in... why am I such a sucker!? His excuse? "Ughjhjjj, babe, I didn't sleep well". ... I could have easily just said something to the effect of: yeah, me either a$$ wipe. I got up to pee four times, woke up who knows how many times to flip from one side to the other, had a couple really creepy preggo dreams, and woke up to deal with a MOTN scared toddler...but sure, you just keep resting your weary body!! GRRRRR. but instead I just rolled my eyes and got out of bed.
Got the tree down from the attic, got it all put up, and realized we lost half our decorations and all our lights in the move. Guess I'll be buying new decorations this week! #imisstarget
So...I'm having a hard time fitting into my pjs. I really don't want to buy any but I feel I might have to. What is everyone doing for sleeping clothes? Also I have to say that my lovely DH complains when it's cold so we have to have it moderately warm.

Most of my pjs still fit. My pants were always a loose fit for comfort and then I have some chemises that I wear. An alternative would be hubbys old shirts and shorts.
my pjs haven't fit in forever! I either wear dh's pants or a pair of maternity leggings and a maternity tank top or a dh shirt. I sleep with no pants tho bc all that rolling around gets me all twisted up lol. half the time the shirt gets ditched too

I switched to gowns months ago, because I couldn't take the waistbands anymore and I refused to buy something I couldn't wear after pregnancy (maternity.)
I'm mostly in gowns. Some of my old ones still fit, but I figured maternity gowns (chemises?) are something I'm more likely to wear post-pregnancy, because who cares if they're roomy. And I assume if I have a c-section I'm really going to want them. I also have boxer-type shorts from pre-pregnancy that still fit because the waistbands are really low. I cannot wear anything remotely tight at night, by the end of the day I really don't want anything on my skin anymore.
I bought one maternity PJ set (tank, loose flowy pants and robe from Cosabella) that I think is meant to be something special to wear in the hospital, which I sometimes wear now. I bought it big because I'm having twins, but it's still huge. The two maternity gowns i bought are also for nursing so you could look for one on Black Friday and get some use out of it post-pregnancy.
I'm about to look for a couple roomy-enough-for-maternity nursing gowns & pjs... I figure I'd rather buy one set to get me through pregnancy & nursing than have to re-buy once ( @anonellis any chance you could link to what you got? That sounds great...)

I've got no great advice. I've been sleeping in a bra and panties because I'm too cheap to buy new jammies
