Mine is I hate gifs because I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST THEM.
I've read so many threads on how to do it, and keep trying and failing.

@Jen_Shoes This is how I do it: From a computer:
Go to giphy.com. Find the perfect gif, click on it to open it. Then right click, go to copy image location.
Go to your new post, click on attach image/file, and paste into the image URL.

My unpopular opinion is that I think it is ok to already be listening to Christmas music. It just makes me happier and my kids are really getting into it now too!!

@Jen_Shoes - I couldn't either and it kind of made me sad. @ShadeofGreen816 was nice enough to give me a tutorial and it worked! Hope this helps, I just copied it directly from what she gave me:
I'm making these specific to giphy.com because that's what I use the most!

1. Find a GIF that you want to use. Click on it on the search page, so that it's on its own page.
2. Under the GIF, there are two "tabs:" Share and Advanced.
3. Click on "Advanced"
4. The 3rd option is called "Gif download" and it looks like a web address ending in ".gif"
5. Don't click download - just highlight and copy it.
6. Come back to TB. Open your post.
7. In the icons at the top, one looks like a black piece of paper with a corner turned down. Click on it.
8. Where it says "image URL," paste that address that ends in .gif

@slam1110 I always think its okay the week before Thanksgiving. I mean, there's songs about traveling for the holidays and pumpkin pie yada yada, they're Thanksgiving-y enough!

My UO is that I can't sympathize with people who complain about the holiday travel between various relatives' houses issue. If you have to hit more than 3 places, Ok, then I'll feel bad for you. Every year I travel 1500 miles across the country one way for either Thanksgiving or Christmas with a toddler in tow. Once I hit my destination, I travel a few hundred miles between my family and ILs. Yes, the travel sucks, but I love seeing family for the holidays. Plus, just as soon as you start to get bored/annoyed with one family, you get to move to the next!

I have a love/ hate relationship with Costco. I feel every time you enter the parking lot people turn to crazy idiots! Why is it always a zoo and what is our obsession for buying things in bulk! My blood pressures goes up every time I enter the store but I still go!

I can't stand when my sister complains about traveling for the holidays. She lives in LA with her husband. My whole family lives in upstate NY and his family is in PA. They decided a few years ago to leave the east coast and move to California. She always complains about expensive flights & having to take time off. Bitch you decided to move, not us!

NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot , I have a similar yet totally different UO...I hate when my 1,000,000 family members try to make me feel guilty for NOT dragging my toddler across the country during holidays. We made the decision shortly after he was born to do holidays at our house. We found that when we were traveling back (even without kids), we were pulled in so many directions that it wasn't enjoyable and everyone felt like they were being shorted time. We now make a trip during the summer when things are less hectic and it feels like we can spend more quality time. And we open our home to family for holidays, which they now fight over which group of family gets to come (it's always something right?). BUT the guilt is real...a lot of "but it's Christmas! why aren't you coming home?". The real answer is, we LOVE Christmas but want the holiday to be enjoyable, not stressful.

I agree with both of you. My husband and I always talk about how our move cross country was completely on us, which is how we justify one holiday trip and one summer trip (so long as we can afford it) and don't get mad when ppl don't come to us for holidays. This year, my family decided to come down for the xmas but they keep complaining about cost and gift-transportation hassle. I don't feel bad for them as I do all of that, with a kid, and schlep a bunch of presents back home with me after I specifically ask them to keep any (unnecessary) presents small and lightweight. Like, I'm not making you come down. But if you do, you don't get to complain about the things I deal with every year.

My UO is that I intend to spend no time with my family for the Holidays. Actually, I volunteered to work on Thanksgiving so I would have an excuse. I family, specifically my sister and niece, are so negative and gossipy that I just can't handle it. Our holidays always end up being a huge drama and I just want to avoid it. My mom and dad are against my engagement, because my fiance is half black, and they will not acknowledge my pregnancy at all. My niece is pregnant, due in January, and I don't feel like spending the entire day listening to them gush about her and the baby when they won't even acknowledge the precious boy I am carrying. My fiance will be home and we will spend time with his family, which I am thrilled about.

Mine is that I don't really like the board structure on here. I check daily and only see 1-2 new threads and leave. I'm not a fan of the big lumped threads (like the weekly randoms). I'm a bit of an old school bumpy (was on the Knot almost 10 years ago) so I'm not used to it and having a hard time getting used to it. I totally see how it reduces annoying repeat topics and threads, but also feel like it's not very personal feeling. Plus I hate the quote feature on my mobile app and find it hard to participate in long threads without a good quote feature.

I get this. I'm an old school knottie too and it takes a little getting used to. I do like it now though, once you dive into the weekly randoms that helps.

My UO: I don't like maternity photos or newborn photos and didn't do either last time. I think maternity photos are a little creepy and cheesy and the newborn ones weird me out. Why are the babies wrapped in that coban like stuff like little larvae? Wouldn't you rather be sleeping? Why oh why would you tempt fate and mess with a sleeping baby? Plus all newborns look kind of like little old alien men. Pass.

@JonesBaby0624 I feel for you...normally I am the person who is all about holidays and family, but since getting married, my in-laws kind of killed that for me. I'm multiracial so I'm basically the black wife of the black sheep in a family full of "we're not like that anymore" people so if it's not with my family...F it.

My UO: I hate maternity pants...why are you giving me so much extra crotch space, I'm growing a human, not a penis. There, I said it.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans from Target that fit when I tried them on but then got crazy loose when I wore them for half a day so I'm going to return them for a smaller size. Most people will probably side eye me for this lol.

This happened to me too! 2 pairs, but I don't have the tags. I wonder if they'll still let me exchange them?? The sag in the front and literally fall down after a cpl hours of wear.

I also have mixed emotions about the board structure but in my last BMB we had a daily randoms thread that would easily grow to 200+ comments so I don't know if it's necessarily the structure that is keeping the board so quiet. I also feel like the new bump rules plus how quickly they close threads that become controversial has driven away the trolls for the most part, which has taken some of the entertainment away, while making it less annoying at the same time.

I hate full panel maternity pants- give me stretchy side panel all day. The full panel make my belly itchy-
My uo- I hated the underwear/shorts given at birth! Everyone says they love them and I was expecting awesomeness but give me normal grandma panties any day rather than ill fitting boy shorts

Add me to the "Beyonce is just not all that" train! I like some of her older songs, but a friend of mine ALWAYS plays her new CD and its just so... BLAH.

I like the structure, but our board feels so quiet. I don't THINK its the structure that's doing it, but who knows.

My UO is that I don't like popcorn, unless it's caramel popcorn. I have tried, and I'll even share some with my H when we go to the movies. But I just DON'T like it. It's like eating styrofoam that gets stuck in your feet teeth.

ETF: Feet?? Where did I get that! It gets stuck in my teeth!

@Candy_bandit YES. I hate full panel maternity pants and refuse to buy them. I think because I have a longer torso the band just rides somewhere in the top/middle of my belly and makes it super uncomfortable.

I think the board is pretty active Wed-Friday because we have the "popular" posts those days. HDBD, UO, FFFC... and then it gets super quiet over the weekend and takes a couple days to pick back up I think! I like the structure of the board but I'm more of an OCD organized person! Plus I kind of wonder if the board is more quiet right now because early second trimester is pretty low key. Wait until the anatomy scans and third trimester hits, I bet it picks up more.

So much this! If I didn't get to our randoms thread by noon it would easily take me an hour to read every thing. I do miss the regular flame sessions drive bys even though it also brought so much junk. Lord help me on the amount of "nub theory" post back then.

Question for the Beyonce haters. Have you seen the visual album for Lemonade? The CD itself, in my opinion, isn't as good unless you've seen the video, which I really enjoyed. I think it's way more artistic and raw, and it actually tells the whole story way better. (Side note: I do NOT like the song Sandcastles. It's so bad...like, one of the worst songs I've ever heard professionally recorded.)
