when are you telling work?

Re: when are you telling work?

  • I am currently 11 weeks but I told co workers at 9 almost ten weeks, but I told my boss at 7. I teach dance and due to previous losses, my doctor put some restrictions on physical activity so it was a necessity I tell my boss early.

  • I told my boss fairly early (around 5 weeks I think it was) because my back went out (sciatica due to slipped disc) and I couldn't walk or move really. Because I had missed AF, I decided to take a test and sure enough, I was pregnant! So there went all of the medications I'd be previously prescribed for my back! Haha I ended up being out from work for a week and just finished my last physical therapy session yesterday! My parents knew, but we didn't tell anyone else until a few weeks ago after our first u/s because we had a m/c in May of this year. Now FB official and a few other coworkers know (I work at a college, so there are plenty of people in other departments who don't know yet!). We were too excited to wait! Next appointment is tomorrow, fingers crossed everything is still going wonderfully!!
