@LGW2015 I'm one month pp today and the last few days I've been sore like I did a bunch of sit ups. I assumed it was part of the muscles healing.
Additional WTF is that the opening in the right side of my incision FINALLY healed and a day later a small opening appeared on the left side. Why can't it just stay closed!
I am 4 weeks pp today and still have yet to drive or go anywhere alone. I've had my very fair share of complications which hasn't obviously effected everything, but it's just getting frustrating and lonely. I'm trusting that this is the end of my problems but I feel like all the complications has set me back so much. Of the 28 days since DS has been here I've only been home for 11 of those days so I've missed out on serious bonding with my baby, had to give up on nursing, my DS1 has been a behavior tornado with having so many different people taking care of him, then there's my awesome husband that I know is suffering too but he never complains. All in all, this is just rough and sad and difficult and not anything I ever anticipated. Hope all you other csection mamas are on the mend.
@christinab0722 ugh you've had a really rough go & hope things have finally turned a corner for you.
Easier said than done but try not to focus on what's happened and just move forward. Your DS1 will be okay- he will settle down soon. And remember you already have 9 months of bonding experience with your new baby. That baby knows you already. You've missed a few days but there was nothing you could do- the complications were unexpected and certainly not your fault. /and you need to get better so you can be a good mom.
