Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on at home dopplers? My cousin gave me hers and I've used it twice and successfully sorted through all the sounds (thanks to YouTube) to hear the babies heartbeat. I'm just wondering if anyone has been warned not to use them for the safety of the baby or if anyone has any information on their use?
I used one with DD and am debating whether to get one again. My ob never warned against them for medical reasons, but did say that because I wasn't trained, it could cause undue stress. He recommended not using it.
I've never heard of them causing any problems but I guess I never really looked into it either. I have one that I used all the time with my DS and I loved being able to hear him. I found his heartbeat right away every single time. Before you can feel baby moving around it gave me peace of mind to hear him. I've tried to use it with this pregnancy but since I'm only 8 weeks I haven't been able to hear anything yet. I've been trying every day though : )
Anyone else's nausea seems to subside and then return with a vengeance? I freaked out when mine went away Thursday (after I fell...I think preggo hormones were making me insanely irrational). For the last 2 days, I have felt some of the strongest nausea to date. My barely there ms ended around 9 weeks with my girls so I am like "what in the world?". I guess I got what I prayed for, lol.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:26-27&33-34
@mamasmurf12 - mine has been all over the place but I've had some pretty bad nausea the last couple of weeks. I'm 12w2d and I threw up for the first time 2 1/2 weeks ago and last week I threw up twice, so yes, it got more sparse but I've had worse bouts at times.

ETA: meant to add this on the current week's thread. Oops. I'll keep my AW'ing here to stick to one place.
