I have never seen admin close a thread that fast! Especially since nothing was even removed... it was a pretty sudden thread closure.
I bet they have an algorithm that notifies them of excessive swearing. Or something. That is pretty B&W as opposed to other threads where it is more *the content*.

My boss had me train three other people how to do my job when I left for maternity leave in three months, and at the end of training told me they were going to take over my job starting now. So essentially I am making my salary for coming in to the office and doing no work other then making sure other people are doing my work. So, win?
So, I came into work this morning, and opened my filing cabinet to put my purse in, like always, only to see that someone has clearly been into my filing cabinet and moved the divider so that my purse will not fit in.
Who the heck was digging around in my personal cabinet in my cubicle, and why?! Nothing is missing that I can tell, but I guess I'm going to have to start locking the thing. I checked with my teammates to see if it was them borrowing my notes or something, but it wasn't. Now I'm weirded out.
@Lafreeman21 I am 99% sure my boss meant it as a punishment cause she's been doing shit like this every since she found out i was pregnant, but I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the next 4 months.
@WinchesterGirl is the divider moving at night when you close the cabinet without your purse in it? That happened to me a few times and I couldn't figure out what was going on... If someone is pillaging through there at night, that's just creepy!!
@WinchesterGirl is there a maintenance crew that cleans the office after hours? We had an issue with the maintenance crew in our building rummaging through desk and cabinets for a while. They even stole food out of some offices refrigerators! Perhaps that's what's going on?

But that's what I don't get. Admins didn't even delete anything.
@Patience7150 I don't think so, because the divider thing locks into a slot. So someone had to open it, pick it up, and intentionally move it.
@scifichick09 I think that may be what's happening. Nothing appears to be gone, but I don't keep anything in there worth stealing (obviously when I leave I take my purse with me). I contacted facilities though and am going to get a key and start locking it anyways just because of the creep factor.
I'm just getting caught up because it's been crazy here! Monday we had back to back appointments all day while I was getting myself together after being off, then I had to drive over 2 hours to our meeting site for Tuesday and thankfully H was off so he could go with me. The hotel that the company put us in was interesting. The room was nice but it was a motel set up (doors on the outside) and our room was adjoined to the next room and we could hear them having sex and then talking until 11:30 and with it being right on a busy road, I heard traffic going by all night. So I didn't sleep much and then got to sit in a meeting all day where it was not comfortable and we got information overload.
I was still really tired when I got to work this morning and saw that my fill in yesterday had messed up more stuff so I was kind of in a bad mood. I was catching up here with everyone talking about mat leave so I decided to look up when I had to file STD. In looking for info on that I found another leave policy that I hadn't seen before. My company has a parental leave policy that is 16 weeks at 100% pay the whole time!!!! No more bad mood today! lol
I had read before that I would have to get STD at 75% only for a few weeks then have to use all of my PTO for the year to get any pay after STD. Now I'll still have all my vacation time for the year!
I was really worried about mat leave because I didn't know if we'd be able to make it and then I'd definitely have to go back to work. Now with more time and pay cushion I may get to stay home! Unless anything comes up I'll be working until she comes and then go on leave. How we do during leave will determine how long I go back to work and depending on what happens in H's job next year.

@raptormomma umm, rude. I think sometimes people think telling a pregnant person they're big is a compliment. Like, "good job on the growing". Still annoying.
Has anybody taken a cat seat safety class? We're registered to go tonight but I don't want to go now because it's two hours and I've already had a long day which included being stuck in traffic for 2 hours. What could they possibly teach for 2 hours regarding car seats? Maybe we'll leave early. It just better not be a whole hour of why we need to keep our kids in the seat or something like that.

So much this. My DD turned 3 a week ago and has been terrible since. I honestly don't know how we are going to make it to four.
Thank you, ladies. She was definitely part of the family. My H and I are both a bit stunned right now. It was so unexpected; we only found out that anything was wrong on Monday night.
