@karmba I'm so warm all the time! Normally I'm all bundled up, but I'm still rocking short sleeves even when I go outside. And at night I have to sleep in undies and a tank top, usually it's pj pants and a t shirt!
@gowenc I get the tingles in my hands while I'm sleeping, it slowly fades throughout the morning. I had extreme carpel tunnel in my hands last pregnancy.
@SmashJam I've been getting nauseous also, if I'm hungry or if I eat too much. There is no winning.
Like wake myself and DH up snoring. Besides times I've been very sick, I don't snore. Is this a common thing? I don't want to Google it and stress myself out.
@dmontgo I've woken myself up snoring too here in the last few weeks. I've never had issues with snoring before.
My symptoms include: Loss of appetite- I'm never hungry and have to force myself to eat. Emotional- almost every day this week I've just wanted to sit and cry for no reason. Nesting- must organize all the baby things! Leg cramps- normally in the early morning hours before getting up. Nausea- I've been waking up nauseous for the last week. Worrying about movement. If he doesn't move as quickly one day as he did the day before I panic.

@dmontgo same here. It's just pregnancy-related congestion, due to blood vessels carrying so much more blood and expanding. Nothing to worry about, as annoying as it is.
@DiFazette yesterday I scared my H because I yelled so loud.. I was trying to lift my leg onto the couch and it literally felt like I was being torn apart by the vag. I only have one in there, but I definitely don't remember this kind of pain with DD1. I feel like I can curb some of the pain if I avoid spending too much time on my feet, but mostly it's just always looming. My dr had mentioned the possibility of vaginal varicose veins which sound super hot.
That's it. I'm taking the plunge and going to a chiropractor for my first time ever. Found someone who does nothing but prenatal/postpartum work. Recommended by birth instructor and doula. She does half massage/half chiropractic work. I've always been skeptical of the whole chiropractor thing, but I cannot function anymore with my back/rib pain so I need to try something. Wish me luck!
Good luck @tinattt23! I will say, I had never been to a chiropractor before and it has helped my hip pain a lot. Speaking of which, I'm due for a follow up this week...gotta get that on the schedule!
Umm not sure if this is pregnancy related but a new one for me. I was lying on the couch taking a nap and kept waking myself up because I was throwing up in my mouth a little bit?? Anyone else heard of anything like this?

@kbduke Just kidding - yes, with each and every bout of reflux I vomit up the back of my throat. Yay!
Oh yah, reflux is real. Now that everything is so smooshed on my insides, if I try to lie down within an hour of eating then I feel like I'm going to throw up. And then comes the acid reflux.
@penelope4612 my doula said that cramps in pregnancy are more likely caused by a magnesium deficiency than lack of potassium. I take Natural Calm, it has helped ease the charlie horses. Hope it helps for you!
Ah I feel for anyone who's getting the leg cramps, I've thankfully only had a couple but man are they bad when they decide to happen!
Today ive been having this random sharp/shooting pain in the back of my ribs towards my middle back, wondering if it's related to some sort of indigestion or reflux since I have horrible reflux as it is, but it's definitely new and NOT fun.
@penelope4612 I started taking one Mag-ox tablet every night and made sure I drank a full glass of water in the evening after dinner and the leg cramps lessened significantly, even gone completely some nights.
BH!!! I got hardcore ones last night for almost 2 hours at 5 minutes apart and was starting to worry. I was just sitting on the couch, and chugging water to try and get them to stop. Fingers crossed for not going into labor early, I haven't had the baby shower yet and don't have car seat & bassinet!!! I'm hoping someone gets at least one for us (cmon mom!)
I just have to say it's always so reassuring to be able to read these! I was really starting to worry about this "crotch pain" situation that started up the last two or three days. Sounds like I am not alone which makes me feel better!
YES on the heartburn. Ick.
Can't sleep. Have had one episode of waking up with a charlie horse this week and hoping that does not repeat itself.
Is it possible for baby to get stuck on one side of your body? For two weeks, baby has been consistently jabbing in one spot, just under my ribs on my right side. 80% of the time is sweet reminder that she is growing inside me. 20% of the time it is incredibly painful, and I have to rub her little foot until it disappears like some sort of bizarre alien parasite.
@mforinger - I second the desk job dilemma. I have worked really hard to have good sitting posture because I paid for a decade of bad posture with a nasty TMJ/spinal episode a few years back. Now my girth won't let me sit correctly, and some days, I start to feel the neck and jaw pain creeping up again. I'll be glad when LO is finally OUTSIDE of my body!
@allicat89 oh yes, absolutely possible for baby to stay in the same spot from here on out. Both of my DDs were stuck head down at this point. DD 1 had her back against mine and you could see her hands and feet waving across my stomach all the time. DD2 had her butt pressed against my belly button for the last 10 weeks, it was painful. However, this child, DS, oh man. He switches positions ALL the time!! He was head down yesterday morning, head up by dinner time, head down by morning, head up at lunch time, head down at dinner time, and just flipped back to breech again. I just don't get it. It's driving me a little crazy.

sometimes an epsom salt bath helps me calm things down?? BH are annoying- like are you real or not real or just here torture me mentally!?!
@yellingbanana how can you tell he's flipping? This kid was breach at 28 weeks but I haven't had an ultrasound since. Movement feels the same since then and I think I feel her head still up by my ribs...but maybe it's her butt? I just can't tell. I also can't tell a difference between legs and arms but can totally feel knees/elbows.
With dd1 I gained more weight and there was extra fluff over my belly. This time it's like she's right below my skin so I can poke a lot more and feel hard/soft and big/small items...but I just can't distinguish things.
I'm also interested in how everyone can tell what position their babies are in. I feel something whacking at my right hip (I swear I can almost hear the thunk sound sometimes), something that can't decide if it wants to be under or over my right ribs, and hiccups in the lower left. Sometimes it feels like I'm growing an octopus in there. I know heads are harder than butts but everything just feel hard...?
Another one with the crazy sore vag; rolling over in bed or trying to move in general can make me yell out in pain. Over the last few days I also feel like I've been hit in the ribs with a baseball bat, but only on the left side. It's super painful and I don't even know if it's pregnancy related. Seems strange that my uterus would only expand enough to bother one side.
Yep, I totally get the puke in my mouth thing at night when I've been lying down for a couple of hours. So gross. Zantac has helped with that.
Pelvic-lower back-pinching/cramping in my left leg is really amping up. My crotch is pretty sore. Turning over in bed is becoming an event - lots of grunting. Not getting up as easily either; seems to take me a few steps to walk out my muscles and joints.
On the cute side, I think Eaton's got a hand around my hip bone area. The skin is pretty thin right there and so when he's wiggling his hand in that spot it feels pretty close to actually touching him. So alieny but in a cool way.
Sometime in this past week I was all like, "Oh no crotch pain but I was wondering where that had gone I had it last time!"
And now I have it again. I am sore all up the left side of my body, my left heel hurts, the left side of my pubic bone hurts (or, I guess, the left pubic bone?), my left shoulder is sore, below my left rib cage, etc. I think LO is hanging out over there at the time but no idea if head up or down...I would also be interested to know how everyone knows what position their LO is in?
@smashjam for position, I'm going by my last ultrasound where he was head down. I don't *think* he has moved because his position seems consistent with kicks/hiccups and that sort of thing. I'm getting another growth ultrasound next time I go in, so then we'll see if he's still where I think he is. He favors the left side of me, and I know that simply because I feel him 9 times out of 10 on the left side. He also likes to forcefully shove himself against my left side. My hypothesis there is that he had a favorite spot when he was smaller and now he can't quite get back into it. A nurse speculated that my placenta could be on the right side making him favor left, but the ultrasound tech told me around 13 weeks that my placenta was "up top" whatever that means. I think he's just a nester like his mother and found a good spot and is staying in it.
When people are all like.. I feel a hand here or a butt there... I'm like... I just feel like a swallowed a snake. Or a couple gerbils. Or a snake and a gerbil and the snake is chasing the gerbil.
@slartybartfast Well I guess I can't confirm it was a hand, sorry to be so specific. Thinking his feet are up top, if it wasn't a hand I was feeling maybe it was a gerbil.
@sourlemon I can tell when he gets the hiccups, you feel the hiccups where the baby's head is. So it's either hiccups on my cervix or hiccups in my ribs, sometimes on my side when he goes transverse. He usually gets hiccups a couple of times a day.

My braxton hicks are in high gear today. Only 2 or 3 an hour - so nothing to be concerned about, just annoying.
I'll chalk it up to another glamorous pregnancy symptom.
