Oh so long to wait!  My specialist does a 6 wk ultrasound of the beta is good.  If all looks well, I get released to my OB and he always wants to see me before 8 weeks.  Usually ASAP.
  • Mine is the 14th... can't come soon enough!!!!
  • @Elyse1384 It seems 6 weeks is the norm for most REs, but yet mine told me that would be too early. I don't know what the deal is!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA @Elyse1384!!!!!!! What a hilarious response from your husband!!!! He must've been so confused, lol. My test did the same thing; I chucked it out without waiting. Stupid pee sticks, so unreliable and heartbreaking. Good luck for your beta!

eta - I had to read your post again. It's hilarious and wonderful
  • @wifeinraleigh28 That is a long wait! Your RE probably just wants to wait until they know the heart can be heard, but that doesn't make the waiting any easier!

@worldtravler0522 Your RE probably wants to see how many are in there!

  • September FET Tracker

I thought I would share our tracker now that most of the results are in. We are at exactly 50% ladies. Once we add @Elyse1384's BFP we will be at 53.8%. Definitely wish it was higher, and I hope that those with BFNs get their BFPs really, really soon.

  • I'm getting excited for my beta tomorrow.  I haven't POAS since Monday and don't plan to at this point.  It is what it is and I can only hope for a positive call (pun intended).

As an aside, since I shared the "corrected" news with DH on Monday he is pampering me hardcore and I'm loving it!  On a slightly less romantic note, I shared with him that the past two days I've felt like absolute crap/beyond tired and his response is "Great!!!!  I feel better the worse you feel... please don't take that the wrong way.  Just seems like a good sign".  Gee... thanks hun.
  • @Elyse1384 sometimes we just have to say "awww bless your heart" to our husbands. They really have no idea what to say a majority of the time, so now in this stressful journey, they are truly dumbfounded and not sure what to say ALL THE TIME... lol we love them anyway, right? Bless his heart!

On another note, I'm loving the hocus pocus gif in these comments! I'm ready for halloween!!!

As for me, I just posted another update after today's ultrasound appointment. I have another one on Friday and hopefully we will retrieve on Sunday Oct 9th. Wish us luck - grow follies grow!

Lastly, @wifeinraleigh28 you have done such a great job with updating the spreadsheet - thank you for sharing! 50% is good, right? :)

    2nd cycle on Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + TI = BFN
3rd cycle on Letrozole but did our 2nd IUI on 07/01/16. 10 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN
Onto IVF! Started Lupron on 09/24. Added Gonal F and hcg injections 09/26...... Trigger 10/07. EggRetrieval 10/09. Starting PIO, Estrace, and Medrol 10/10/16. Transferred 2 "strong/beautiful" embryos 10/14/16. Beta 10/28/16 = 998 mIU/mL = BFP with one baby, but miscarried at 9w5d.
D&C on 12/06/17 and started taking BCPs 01/10/17 for the next IVF Cycle, which officially began stims on 02/18/17.
Fast Forward: we got 4 fertilized embryos from that cycle. Transferred one fresh, but it did not stick, so we have 3 frozen embryos currently. Went in to the fertility clinic in July to talk about a FET of one of those three frozen embryos, but a new fibroid was discovered, and I was not cleared to do the transfer until I had fibroid removal surgery.
08/11/17 had a mini-laparotomy / myomectomy to remove 6 fibroids, largest sized were the size of golf-balls! Once we were cleared to go about our normal lives (sex!) I got pregnant NATURALLY but it was a chemical pregnancy. The very next month we had another BFP and here we are now with a baby on the way! A TOTAL AND COMPLETE MIRACLE!

AFM the wait for the ultrasound is soooooo long... it's been very hard to hide at work when I ran out of a meeting to throw up! Wasn't my finest moment. On a positive note hubby has been driving to and from the shops to buy me whatever food I so desire! Ha! It's fabulous... until it comes back up an hour later! Oh!

@C-k Sorry you're experiencing morning sickness! I haven't had any vomiting yet but today was the first day where I started to feel nauseous. I hope I never throw up because throwing up scares me! And I agree, the wait for the ultrasound is just way too long!!!!

  • TW - BFP mentioned

Got my second beta back today!  I went from 233.9 to 1,212!  Yay.  They're making me wait until 7+2 for my ultrasound though (they had me come in at 6w in the past).  I guess that puts me in the long wait club.
  • September FET Tracker (final wrap-up post!)

Congrats on your second beta @Elyse1384! Welcome to the long wait club  My ultrasound will also be on 7+2. Not sure how these doctors decide who gets early ultrasounds and who needs to wait! I keep trying to tell myself that if they thought there could be problems they would have me come in earlier, so maybe that's the case for you too! But who knows.
