Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Friday

Re: TWW Friday

  • @Buthayna It did not give solid CH because it only has temp to go on.  When it has CM as well, it would give solid CH.

I'm mobile today and all wknd. I'm also probably going to be pretty quiet here while we are away but I'm reading all your posts.

R/R: we are headed to Nantucket today! I love it there and the weather looks great this wknd.

    CS/Q: nope.

GTKY: With all the talk about hurricane Matthew, what is the worst storm (tornado, snow, etc) that you have weathered?

Sandy was rough for my family in CT and all the snow storms we had in Boston in 2015. That was insane.

  • Month/ cycle: 2/2

     CD/DPO: 27/12

    Timing: -5,-3,-2,-1

Testing: BFN this morning, if no AF by Monday I may try again!

    CS/Q: none

R/R: my husband is going out of town today so I will have the house to myself for two days!
  • @lulu180 and @deadasthatsquirrel thanks! that makes sense. I didn't try putting in EWCM closer to O.  I understand why FF is confusing itself.....the EWCM situation confused me this cycle too! I was fearing that O would be out another week because I sometimes have early EWCM about a week before O, but it's usually way earlier than that.... :S

    TTGP history (*TW*):

    Started TTC Oct 2015
    BFP #1 June 2016: EDD 16 March 2017, MC July 2016

    BFP #3 November 2018: Baby #2 expected August 2019

  • @meg2704 Sorry about your BFN!

@deadasthatsquirrel So you store your fish oil capsules in the fridge? My doctor told me it helps and I haven't had a problem!

  • @mrlight Ooh, I don't. That's a good tip!

  • @deadasthatsquirrel Any excuse for hot chocolate is a good day!

Late to the party; today has been craaaaazy busy at work. TGIF!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 30/9

    Timing: -3, -1, O, +1

    Testing: Maybe Monday?

R/R: DH and I are headed to my parent's place this weekend and it's actually supposed to be sunny there so YAY! (FYI: where they live gets 30 days of sun annually, so it's sort of a big deal). My temp went up this morning nearly back to 98.0, but I'm suspicious since it was pretty warm in our room last night, which also makes me toss and turn. Likely not the most reliable temp I've ever had.

    CS/Q: Not today

GTKY: With all the talk about hurricane Matthew, what is the worst storm (tornado, snow, etc) that you have weathered?
My parent's house gets flooded a lot (see above for a taste of their weather) but in 2012 (I think it was?) it was awful. My dad only evacuated the house when the water level was up to his hips and took the two beagles with him (the ducks were left to fend for themselves) .Fortunately, my mom and the two youngest siblings were out of town for the ordeal, but DH and I ran down there to help dad out just in case. Everything was a freaking mess, drenched in water. You had to park on the highway and hike in before it got too bad. I remember having salmon swimming next to me in the driveway. On the bright side, the driveway got re-graveled for free when it was all said and done. Thanks nature!

@rainbowturtles I'm taking it for omega, yeah, but it also has A and D in it and some nutritionist folks call it a TTC superfood. But I'm also taking a PNV and eat fish and think I'm probably going overboard. But yeah now that I have it I'm forcing it down because of the price. Expensive mistakes are the worst! It's actually LIQUID not pills, which makes it so much grosser. I wish it was capsules --that would not be as bad. I take liquid PNVs and other vitamins if available because supposedly they absorb better but for this it was such a bad move. I'm allowing myself to take it every other day just to temper the grossness.

    Edit spelling
  • @vflux33 fwiw, I really like this brand https://www.ascentahealth.com/product-info/nutrasea/ I get the liquid and next time I'm getting the liquid that has vitamin D added. They have different flavours and do not taste like fish oil. I don't even mix it with anything, just take a teaspoon and down it. I also keep it in the fridge. Might be something to try for next time :) GL in the meantime lol

Thanks for the recommendation @rainbowturtles! When I get through this never ending bottle of terror in my fridge I will try ascentahealth for sure. Looks like the Whole Foods next town over has it. I don't normally go there, but it's not far/totally manageable. Ugh part of me wants to *accidentally-on-purpose* lose or break the bottle and buy the one you're recommending now and if it had been cheaper I totally would.  Bookmarking it now :)
