Finally got my insurance approval. I'll be able to go to a partner facility out of state on vacation and only delay my FET about a week and a half rather than cancel the cycle or miss my trip. My new transfer date is tentatively set for 9/26 with an ultrasound and bloodwork next Tuesday 9/20. What's another 2 weeks before my TWW

@wifeinraleigh My clinic checks a few days before the transfer (on the day of starting PIO) just to confirm that you didn’t somehow ovulate. They don’t do any other blood work except for betas. Also, I think it’s great to have a separate group for FET’ers. Last cycle it was really difficult to keep up with everyone in the IVF group. I think this makes it easier to support each other. Those of us doing FET have moved on from our ER’s and stims.
@mtpbadger I’m so excited for you! And, I think it was a good decision to take the time off of work- give your emmie some downtime to settle in.

So I'm actually wondering now if the medrol is making it difficult for me to sleep. The last time I took a steroid (prednisone) I had the same problem. Anyone else have difficulty sleeping while taking medrol during FET prep?

I've also decided that I'm not going to start my TWW countdown till after all the transfers this week, since we will all be testing on the same day, lol! Maybe that will make it seem like mine is going by that much faster? I haven't even called to schedule my beta yet! I guess I should do that today.

FX for you. @APM_SLP I'm jelly that you have a pic and that it's a boy. I don't get embryo pics and I would love to have a boy. AFM- I should be getting my call today with a time for Friday. Dr J. called yesterday and he wants to wait until Fri and look at the embryo's before we make any decisions as far as transferring, freezing or disposing of the 2nd embryo. I've been having some sharp pains in my ovary areas this week especially when I get up from siting or I sneeze. idk what it is. I'm on the same protocol as I have always been. I have also been more achy in my hips and legs since starting the POI.

Ladies I love your fur babies (and...pony!). I wish I had a doggie soooo bad. My first fur baby (my beloved golden retriever) was my first and last for sometime. I work so far from home as does DH. We really want a golden and Newfie for our household. Need to wait until we move for that to happen.

For once things have finally fallen into place... between referrals going back 3 months to prior authorizations taking 4 weeks I'm glad things are done on time this round and once I get AF I can start estrace. Super happy... hope this means everything will work out better this time.

Okay so good news is transfer complete and it was a very high quality embryo! Yay! Not so awesome news is that the transfer took 50mins of pretty bad pain... Apparently my canal is s shaped and doctor couldn't get it in.. So took him and a nurse with the ultrasound and another nurse to do it. He asked if my last one was hard and I said no it took her 30 seconds..Which he said is unusual because when you have a challenging cervix it is always generally tricky. So it may not have even reached the uterus last time... I actually had that discussion with hubby last month because she didn't use an ultrasound either.. Just a few minutes and she was done.
So I guess this one may have a better chance , come on little guy/girl stick with me!!!!

@C-k . Good thoughts for you on your TWW. That does sound interesting to have such differing experiences...and while I have not been at this too too long, I can't imagine a transfer without an ultrasound. They were crazy specific on the ultra with mine. Glad it sounds like your new re knows what they are doing!
@C-k I was 30 min because my cervix is very very smal and my uterus is tilted lol. It hurts real bad but it'll be worth it!!! Fx for you!

@C-k - I hope this one works for you! I also find it very weird that your last one was done without an ultrasound. My clinic even measured my uterus to find the best placement for the embryo. Did you switch clinics or something?

@C-k I can't even imagine the pain. I've had 4 transfers and they have always been with an ultrasound. @LSatturo126 I can't wait to hear your numbers today @wifeinraleigh28 My Transfer is set tomorrow for 10:30 Eastern time. I have to be there by 9:30 which is 8:30 my time. It's confusing sometimes cause its an hour and a half drive plus I'm an hour behind. Apperently 10:30 is a late transfer time for them????? DH is pumped and I'm just like eh. I'm more curious if I will get to see picks of the embryo's this time since we will be deciding how many and which one we will be transferring just before we do it.

Like @Tusername I can't wait to be PUPO with the rest of you! I feel like each day I get more and more excited. AFM- I should be getting my call today with a time for Friday. Dr J. called yesterday and he wants to wait until Fri and look at the embryo's before we make any decisions as far as transferring, freezing or disposing of the 2nd embryo. I've been having some sharp pains in my ovary areas this week especially when I get up from siting or I sneeze. idk what it is. I'm on the same protocol as I have always been. I have also been more achy in my hips and legs since starting the POI.

This is much sad looking little boy Paul we tell him he could be on the commercials for abused and neglected animals
so I finally got the call this afternoon my insurance went through! For once things have finally fallen into place... between referrals going back 3 months to prior authorizations taking 4 weeks I'm glad things are done on time this round and once I get AF I can start estrace. Super happy... hope this means everything will work out better this time.

@wifeinraleigh28 My Transfer is set tomorrow for 10:30 Eastern time. I have to be there by 9:30 which is 8:30 my time. It's confusing sometimes cause its an hour and a half drive plus I'm an hour behind. Apperently 10:30 is a late transfer time for them????? DH is pumped and I'm just like eh. I'm more curious if I will get to see picks of the embryo's this time since we will be deciding how many and which one we will be transferring just before we do it.
