@Hopeful_mom that's tough when you have to go alone. My DH had to travel during part of our cycle. It was hard to drive two hours there for an u/s and blood work and then two hours back. Hang in there. Hopefully, when things calm down with DH and your step-daughter, you two can figure out a good schedule.

Hi all havent posted here in a while been busy with getting all the stuff prepped for ivf its getting real my last day of bcp is tommorow i go in on tuesday for a baseline if all cleared start stims friday got my calander aaa my estimated er will be between the 21-23 just depending when i will be ready so excited but yet nervous full if emotions.

Pregnancy is going well. I'm still nervous something will go wrong and I have an anterior placenta which makes it harder to feel the baby which I hate. I'm due November 24, thanksgiving day!!!
and yes @LSatturo126 the pio shots suck but are worth it. For what it's worth I prefer them to the nastiness of vaginal suppositories. Did the nurses draw circles on your butt for dh to know where to aim? My husband was told to think of it as a lcock and move around as well as switch sides each night which helped a little so the same area didn't keep getting pricked. What times your appointment Tuesday? Fingers crossed this isn't for you! Do you know the genders of your embryos?

Yes. I totally meant that I hope this IS it for you. Not isn't. Sorry @LSatturo126. We didn't do pgs testing but if we had I wouldn't want to know the gender either if we had more that one. Since we only had 1 egg I maybe would want to know. Not sure. Keep us posted
@rachlee2010 how many eggs did u get your ivf cycle? I start stimms hopefully friday if my baseline is clear im so nervous idk what to expect and an emotional wreck ugh
@hoping4success we did mini ivf. Going into retrieval I think we had 5 or 6 follicles and they got 3 eggs. All were mature. 2 fertilized and 1 made it to say 5. We froze it and put it in a month and a half later and were shocked it actually worked.
@rachlee2010 that's amazing!!! So exciting November will be here before u kno it! You certainly are giving me hope thank u!! What was ur protocol if u don't mind me asking. Finished first round of stems with only 4 mature follies, I had to cancel my retrieval so once AF arrives I will try again. Have to go meet with dr to see what he new protocol will be. I only did 300gonalf and 2menupar but I feel like we should've done more. @LSatturo126 was ur protocol similar, I thought this was aggressive enough. Between the Clomid and this my body is probably tired I'm sure excited for ur transfer and praying both bean stick or multiply

I will try to remember my protocol but I may be off slightly. I took Letrozole pills starting day 2or 3 for 5 days..I think it was 2 pills a day so not sure what mg that was. starting day 5 or 6 I took 1 vial of menopur a day until my first ultrasound which I can't remember what day that was. That was eventually upped to 2 vials and then 3 but I don't remember the exact days. I also added in cetrotide at some point to prevent ovulation. Then I had my trigger which was pregnyl I think but i'm not sure. We then froze what we had because my dr said the success rates with frozen transfers is slightly higher than with fresh and we wanted any extra percentage points we could get.

Honestly I can't remember all the meds but I know I took three days of ganirelix to slow my ovulation a few days before to help more grow before we totally started. The gonal F at 450, leupron 20ml in the morn plus at night and hcg 20ml. Everything I did I did the max.

@Hopeful_mom Well after transfer, which I did do the laser acupuncture before and after transfer, we ate then went to the dealership to pickup my car from having stuff put on, then came home and I got soooooo very tired and went to bed at 6 and got up at midnight lol. Then went back to sleep at 5am and got up at 7am to take my PIO shot. I plan on making some cake pops for my bestfriends Babyshower for Saturday and then just relax. Tomorrow I have a bunch of stuff to do but doing shopping etc. same for Friday. Shower Saturday. Chill on Sunday, back to work mon etc and Thursdsay will be my Beta. Even though they call it the 2WW its really 9 days for me lol. So not too bad.

@LSatturo126 your a trooper but still take it easy!! Making pop and being on your feet all day, pamper yourself! I need to take my own advice, i had an IUI and worked on my feet for 13hrs so probably wasn't the best idea. I'm feeling super positive and excited for you!! Are you more tired this time around?
Spoke to Dr today and I know have a better understanding of the numbers. She mentioned 600 is the most the brain and body can really take and anything more is really just a waste of money. SO I guess I need to see what one menupar counts as 75 or 100. This time we're still sticking with 300 gonalf but 3 powders instead of 2...will that make all the difference...who knows. G-d lets hope so!! Probably will start AF this weekend even though my boobs are as huge and hurt like hell. So sensitive this cycle, I feel worse now almost after taking all the meds then during the stems go figure. Hoping you'll be feeling preggers in no time sending big hugs!!

@Hopeful_mom That's great that you have protocol now. Good luck with that! it took me 30 min to create 120 cake pop holes. I'll then coat them with chocolate tomorrow which shouldn't take me more than an hour or two. My mom is coming over tomorrow evening to help wrap them (even though she has no clue that I had a transfer lol, no one does but you ladies). And it's vanilla cake lol

and yes @LSatturo126 the pio shots suck but are worth it. For what it's worth I prefer them to the nastiness of vaginal suppositories. Did the nurses draw circles on your butt for dh to know where to aim? My husband was told to think of it as a lcock and move around as well as switch sides each night which helped a little so the same area didn't keep getting pricked. What times your appointment Tuesday? Fingers crossed this isn't for you! Do you know the genders of your embryos?
not sure the time they will let me know Tuesday morning. I do not know the sexes even though I could know because of the pgs testing. But I figured I'd love to have a reveal with the family there and hear the news together. I really do pray both take and that this will be it for me as well lol.

We then froze what we had because my dr said the success rates with frozen transfers is slightly higher than with fresh and we wanted any extra percentage points we could get.

Spoke to Dr today and I know have a better understanding of the numbers. She mentioned 600 is the most the brain and body can really take and anything more is really just a waste of money. SO I guess I need to see what one menupar counts as 75 or 100. This time we're still sticking with 300 gonalf but 3 powders instead of 2...will that make all the difference...who knows. G-d lets hope so!! Probably will start AF this weekend even though my boobs are as huge and hurt like hell. So sensitive this cycle, I feel worse now almost after taking all the meds then during the stems go figure. Hoping you'll be feeling preggers in no time

it took me 30 min to create 120 cake pop holes. I'll then coat them with chocolate tomorrow which shouldn't take me more than an hour or two. My mom is coming over tomorrow evening to help wrap them (even though she has no clue that I had a transfer lol, no one does but you ladies). And it's vanilla cake lol
